They will hold payments, stop payments before you see the doctor or the day you have a surgery, and they will not pay you the 2/3rds they are supposed to. They do not answer emails or phone calls not matter rather it is you or your lawyer calling or emailing. They are rude, unprofessional, liars, unethical, break the federal and state workers compensation laws! Any company who uses them should be ashamed. This 3rd party processor is a complete joke and the government should shut them down! They should be held accountable for messing with people's lives!

Poor customer service, poor communication. I’ve been trying to call Sedgwick for two days straight and was put on hold for three hours and still no answer. I even tried to email them and still nothing. They are horrible at calling people back. I just had some questions about my disability claim. I don’t understand how these people still have jobs! They are the worse company!

We had a visit from a dreadful man at sedgwicks yesterday and I was left so upset. He was sexist, patronising and rude and refused to look at our surveyors report or photos taken and only looked at the front of the house and didn’t even go around the back where he would have clearly seen 2 damaged tiles from recent storm damage. We have had 3 storms in a row hit cornwall since we moved in 3 weeks ago, one was a named storm with severe hail and extreme winds. We moved in literally on the day of the named storm 3 weeks ago and had a comprehensive survey done less than 2 months ago showing the roof to be completely in damaged and dry. Within a couple of days we noticed water coming into the ceiling in the top rooms so called our insurers immediately. They sent a validator from Sedgwicks. He kept repeating he had to get to Southampton but the end of the day and was in a rush so was determined it was condensation without looking at any evidence we had or even the back or the house! My eldest son and our builder were just as shocked as I was at how he behaved. How can you assess a roof if you only see 50% of it? He was sexist towards me, rude and patronising and they are committing fraud by charging my Insurance company Aviva for a job they are not doing properly. They are a complete disgrace and clearly employ dishonest and unqualified unprofessional people to fob off claims. I was so upset by the end of his visit and his blank refusal to look at our recent survey or any evidential photos we’d taken that I immediately wrote to make a formal complaint and will now be contacting our local MP, the media and anyone and everyone I can to expose them. They are appalling. Refuse to have them in and insist on another company, preferably a neutral one that’s not employed by your insurers to fob you off. They will lie about everything and you won’t be able to get any of your damage claimed for. Appalling company. Avoid at all costs.

I have had 2 different interactions with claims with Sedgwick and both have been horrible. They point they finger at other companies even after it's their fault. I have not been paid in over 2 months while having an approved claim. They delayed sending over my paperwork to finance (sitting on someone's desk not being worked) which has cause a huge delay in my pay. All they say it their sorry and that's it. Zero accountability. Because of their mistake I will not get paid until the day before Christmas. 2 months of back pay. HORRIBLE!!!!

Complete imbeciles! This company is full of thieving liars. It has been over 2 years since I was hit head on by one of their clients and still nothing! Everyone I have dealt with at this company is some level of remedial. Incompetent, lazy, and incapable of being honest. How is this place still in business?

Sedgwick should be out of business they refused to pay me after I went through a bunion surgery and they told me to file through paid FLMA I know i do not qualify because I do not have a serious health condition and not in the hospital and I had to go to the doctor 5 times to fill out papers they did approved me but they refused to pay me

Most corrupt, decitfult, twisted group of people I've ever had to deal with. They were held in contempt of court numerous times during our case.. smh I don't know how they're still in business.. smh

Complete and utter disappointment dealing with Sedgwick. I can confirm with my full heart that ALL these negative reviews are correct. This company is filth to the core. They have no customer service manners and they never bother to return the calls. What a shame.

No communication. No effort. They are structured to avoid claims. Even after you push back they just don't move forward and hardly communicate at all. For me they are third party so I'm not the customer. So they don't care about customer service until we make it a legal issue.

They’re the worst. And I work for such a great company too! Why must they be affiliated with such a shitty Leave administrator/agency? If any Sedgwick employees are reading this, particularly the girl I just got off the phone with who sounded like she was high on weed and couldn’t be bothered…you suck!!!

A terrible, terrible company to deal with. International Paper uses them for all disability and comp claims. Communication is poor, processes poorly explained, time frames not reasonable, expectations of compliance to unreasonable requests for non-existent information is overwhelming. Our doctor is equally frustrated with them. They refuse to honor the doctor statement of time off needed, instead continuing to increase demands of more information about a condition that cannot be treated until we see a specialist. My poor husband has a severe injury that we are waiting to see a specialist for. They actually demanded records from this specialist that he hasn't even seen yet! He worked horrendous hours during Covid times that inhibited healing and exacerbated his symptoms to the point of extreme disabling. Likely Sedgwick will deny his short-term disability for the month we have to wait to see a specialist. Folks, this is the thanks you get for investing your loyalty in a company for decades. They treat my husband as if he has no value!

I can tell you what went wrong Sedgwick insurance they have the mind set of how can we not pay how many hoops can we make these people jump through hoops before they get fed up … well these people are human beings whose lives are being ruined and they should not be allowed to trade we have now home as it’s burned down and 8 weeks later 8 week yes you read it right the first time the don’t even deserve 1 star they deserve to be taken to court for ripping people off it’s in humane

Why there has not been a class A lawsuit against this company is beyond me. It really should be illegal for these 3rd party adminstrative companies to even exist. There's no way in hell a company like this can be unbias. How they are allowed to operate is down right criminal and need to be shut down in my opinion. I believe its time we band together and make some serious noise about what this company is getting away with. Anyone with me on this? If something is not done, they will continue to deny legitimate claims and get away with it. Maybe its time someone does some serious investigating and blows the whistle on them. We all need to be complaining to our government officials and calling the news stations to shine a spotlight on them and what they're doing. Ill go first...

There was absolutely 0 communication on Sedgwick’s part. The approved my short term disability which I had no idea they did so I was still going to work. I spoke to several people throughout the two weeks not one told me my claim was approved. I asked how I close the claim and just start over since none of them knew what was going on. They said they would but never did. I saw online there was still a claim saying I was out of work. However, I never spoke to an examiner or received the paperwork in the mail. I worked 30hrs Sedgwick is trying to take my entire check and leave me with $255. I make $27/hr. How is that even correct? They are dumber than rocks.

No one answers the phone and they totally ignore a request for a call back or fill prescriptions or furnish information so one can file a a suit for further loss of both of my feet

Criminally negligent, only there to feather their own pockets and professionally incompetent. 18 months after being flooded we are still waiting for Sedgwick to act appropriately.
