Worst experience ever! I was hit by a rental car (Avis budget group) and sedgewick is who they use. I got hit in January and I’ve had to do everything basically on my own. The claim adjuster I worked with was mostly in helpful most of the time. No phone numbers to call people when you need to and delayed emails responses. I would tell you to have your insurance company go after theirs as they are impossible to deal with. This whole company is shady and awful. Bless the body shop for taking over dealing with them after they refused to speak to the body shop.

No contact from case manager only Use text messages from case manager Stating they could not get in contact with me when no one ever called me. Just look for a reason to deny your claim no contact

They refuse to accept medical records and Drs notes telling of health issues to issue payments. I recommend to start off with finding a good attorney to deal with these people. They will do there best to violate the Americans with disability act. You may as well Sue them and your employer.

The most unethical company you can deal with. Expecting an agreed minor payment to be paid for 8 months. There is no one to talk to via phone or email.

Unfortunately, I was involved with a at fault Sedgwick insured driver. After being treated very poorly, including being ignored by Megan, Sedgwick (Loretta) sent me an agreement (with official Sedgwick letterhead), which after simply asking for payment, they later reneged and would not honor their own word. Now I am forced to take further legal action, but I would advise all to avoid this very unethical company, Sedgwick.

This company has been the worse with payments with both paying my military leave from my civilian job and a claim I have with Best Buy. The case adjuster never calls back and never gives a direct response when needed. I went from April 2021- July 2021 without getting paid because of Sedgwick. I also had a claim and the completely mis spelled my name and the bank could not deposit my check. They still have not resolved the issue.

Terrible experience for STD claimants. They don’t respond to questions in their portal and won’t return telephone calls. They funnel their questions for the medical provider to the claimant to resolve. They would rather not process your claim and force you to take vacation time as opposed to STD. The only thing keeping me from reporting them to the DOL is that I don’t want to make trouble for my employer.

They make your life hell on purpose when you have actual medical issues. No answers in emails or confirmations. Representatives are rude and don't know what's going on with claims

If I had to rate zero, that would be my score. Terrible people, terrible management. If they did their job the right way int he first place I would have returned to work sooner, instead I resigned from my company after working for them with over 16 years of service. Their people don't care about helping people when they are at their most vulnerable point in life.

Can't I leave zero stars? Fresenius should look at this site! Endless loop of getting transferred back to the same department that can't help me.

This company is exactly how all of these previous reviews state. They will do their upmost to deny any claim no matter how much supporting evidence you have. Insurance companies must use them for this reason only. Aviva for one. They are arrogant, rude and unprofessional to say the least. My claim has been ongoing for years, and still no resolve. They have continued to use incorrect information, mislead the insurance company and will stoop to low levels in their aim to deny a claim. I would urge anyone with similar issues with them to take the matter forward to the ombudsman. Maybe with so many complaints they may listen.

Laura - Leigh was possibly the worst adjuster I’ve ever had in my life. Constantly ignoring my calls and ignoring me for almost 2 weeks. It’s actually laughable because she constantly would make the situation about her and her life like it didn’t take almost 2 months to get my total loss insurance cheque.

Everyone I spoke with was rude and aggressive, acted like my calling to report maternity leave was a personal inconvenience to them. Had no answers to my most basic questions about maternity leave process, even though my company's HR portal directed me to Sedgwick for "all questions related to maternity leave benefits." Almost comically unhelpful. The customer service experience survey is also "unavailable at this time." Awful.

They talk in circles and are aggressive in nature. It is not easy to contact them . When they do respond , it is your work email, or your personal email or a text. It is never the same place...so you end up scrambling to find important Information. If you talk to a live person, you get one story one time and a different story another time. The claims adjuster has no medical background , yet they are making a determination on approval. It is shameful that corporations put their employees through this. When you are very ill and feel terrible and are going through tests, scans , and all the stuff..then you deal with this attitude...It only adds stress, which I guess is the goal of Sedgwick. Nightmare!!
