I would give a long rant about how terrible my experience was with Sedgwick, but all the comments before me have done so. This is hands-down the worst company I’ve ever worked with insurance wise or anything else for that matter. Their priority is deny your claim and make you feel like a liar. They request document after document just trying to find something they can deny you for. CALVET should be ashamed they use this adjuster for veterans.

Release form from Sedgwick of medical records is “Not a legal” document in the state of Wisconsin said my medical provider. I personally did not confirm this but my medical provider sent me a form that they said is a legal document.

Sedgwick adjusters ignore emails and phone calls, and then send emails a day too late and in the middle of the night and also request other impossible deadlines. They have been stalling my claim requiring me to provide excessive documentation several times. Attorneys should get involved in class action suits at this point and investigate who is paying them to deny claims. Customer service representatives are unhelpful and uneducated. Managers are even worse. Incredible lack of empathy the company does not care about the claimant's well-being and is solely focused on the financial interests of their clients.

Slow at everything. Dr. must be getting paid by them or is completely arrogant, jerking me around and my lawyer. Won't pay on a time loss accident - blaming it on something else.

This is the worse company I had to ever deal with.....I was given at least 8 different phone numbers to get info on my claim...none of them actually worked, When you download the app and make an account to send them a message, it doesn't matter because they don't respond anyway! I am one month in my workmans comp and still waiting on payment!!

I just started dealing with these people and now after reading all these reviews I'm convinced. I'm becoming angry whenever I talk to the customer service people. Everyone works remotely or for from their home remember that whenever you talk to them. Listen for background noise such as televisions and stuff. It is very difficult to manage a company whenever the employees cannot be monitored. They say the phones are recorded who cares they're probably well aware of all this. If you are new to this experience I feel sorry for you will probably be wore slap out by the time you're done if it ever comes.

This has got to be the WORST COMPANY EVER to deal with. Can’t get anyone on the phone, you email them and don’t get a response back like you should. You wait for MONTHS for approvals for doctor’s appointments. They are NOT consistent with your worker’s compensation deposits. You get hurt and you’re not able to do your job and you literally depend on your worker’s compensation deposits because your bills DON’T STOP. And you slowly start losing everything you have because this company is so INCOMPETENT. I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE. They’ve been slapped with so many lawsuits, they need to be shut down!!

My adjuster and his boss has yet to return my phone calls and this has been going on for 3 weeks after my doctor's sent him paperwork for my shoulder surgery.

The denied my case despite of agreed to an extension d/t doctor's office delay on paperwork. I advices to anyone using this company to get the paperwork from their doctors office and send it themselves. It is so infuriating!

They are horrible. Every phone call the person on the other end tells you something different. I’ve had to repeat myself every phone call telling them you are not listening to what I’m saying. Poor customer service skills. Listening is part of cs.

An awful company don't ever work for them the managers are rude lack of empathy throw work at you without properly giving you the tools that you need to succeed heartless backstabbing overworking employees into stressful and environment. these people are disgusting If you're applying beware you've been worn. If I could give them a zero star I would they don't even deserve one it's better to work at Burger King than to work for this company.

the people there are friendly at first but have been waiting 3 months for a simple hot tub recall on the pump they make you jump thru hoops actually tell you to cut the electrical cord rendering your pump useless alleviating any liability to them not caring whatsoever how long you are without your item and cannot use your hot tub. Every time you call to question someone you get a different response finally after 3 months I got frustrated enough to ask for a supervisor and she got very defensive and had a tone with me that was not needed and of course her answer once asked to go above her of course there was no one in ...lol.....and there was no number or email that she had to give me to talk to anyone at bestway door slammed shut....except the fact they have a huge website and a customer service number that she could have easily directed me to . This company is horrible to deal with if you wait long enough it will go away or so they think . I never write reviews but this one deserves a 1 star and even less if I could give one

I’ve been fighting with these people for over a month and a half. I filed a claim for my maternity leave, did everything they asked, fixed every issue on my end and they refuse to get anything done with my claim. I have less than a month left on my leave and have not received a dime from them. How am I supposed to support my family when I have no income and are physically unable to work at the moment? It’s hard to enjoy the joy of new life when you’re drowning in unpaid, overdue bills. Sedgwick is a joke.

Unable to contact the case manager for over one month. Fails to return phone calls texts or emails ( approximately 20of each) time to get an attorney and really get their attention

I have been trying to get in touch with my case worker for 4 weeks now and everyone I speak to keeps giving me the runaround and claiming she will call me back I’ve been hung up on twice and haven’t been paid in over a month at this point it feels like I need a lawyer to be able to get anything done or get any answers.

I have had my claim open since May. I had knee surgery on 8/1/25. They decided to stop paying me on 7/18. They sent me $50 on 7/18, when my claim is for $613.88 weekly… Today is August 24th. I have not seen a dime since 7/18. I can barely live off 100% of my income, let alone 60% then not getting that for over 45 days! My claim was already open and active before my surgery? When you call you can only leave a VM on a generic mailbox. You can’t even talk to them. I have 85 calls to them and have NEVER gotten a call back! I have sent them 77 e-mails and 2 have been answered. I have been calling. Sending e-mails and begging for money daily. No one has called me back. My employer and I are totally in the dark and are both furious. They have sent me approximately $400 since July. This is almost September.. Try living off $400 with 3 kids, a mortgage, 2 car payments and $300 worth of groceries a week. Let me know how it workss out! I would give anything for their CEO to try this challenge. I am sending my kids to bed hungry. We have nothing left and am owed $613.88 x 6th week today! = $3,683.28.. My family and O are in total finical ruin and it’s 100% this companies fault! I would do anything to have this place shut down!

Complete lack of empathy by any employee- just cruel!!! I was already dealing with cancer and then to deal with these people on top of it was horrible. They made me cry every damn day that I had to talk to anyone.. the employees had no idea about anything medical but sure let their opinions be known. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this company.
