Sedgewick is AWFUL. How does this company stay in business? People who work for them should be ashamed.

Absolutely horrible service. Worst ever experience. They don't answer phone, and take over a week to call back with no resolution.

Had to engage with this dreadful company through an insurance claim via Tesco Insurance for our home. Severe lack of communication. Different person made contact with us almost every time, thus no continuity or understanding of the issues that were ongoing for more than several months! Would only reply to emails or phone calls late on a Friday afternoon, before closing for the weekend, thus causing further delays. Had to escalate every other week to senior management just to get a response from them. Promised people would attend, they didn't. When they did finally turn up, their own staff admitted that the standard of work from their contractor, KDW, was very poor, shoddy, incomplete. Tesco Insurance were utterly useless, not responding adequately and passing our complaints about Sedgwick directly back TO THEM despite being requested NOT TO! Had to take them to the Insurance Ombudsman in the end, just to get the situation resolved and compensation so the jobs that KDW did so appallingly could be rectified. Absolutely dreadful on ALL counts. AVOID!

The worst experience ever. Their forms are not designed for non-US health care providers

There is no response from claims examiner. He never pick up the phone nor respond to my emails. It's been more than a month but no response yet. They have broken my garagedoor and no action has been taken so far. Homedepot simply assign this company to address my issue but no use.

Sedgwick is one of the worst companies you will ever see. They will find any excuse and any way to deny you they possibly can. No matter how many valid doctors notes and evidence you provide. Both me and my fiancée have dealt with this, and it’s genuinely awful, awful company, don’t rely on Sedgwick for anything.

Was told I’d have an answer over a week ago about my short term disability . Nobody will call me back. Neurologist is not sure what’s happening. They thought seizures, stroke, migraines all at once. Still going tests but Sedgwick won’t approve my claim. Just adding stress. Horrible company

A simple water damage claim, Sedgwicks appointed, & 7 months later still no works are arranged, completely useless. Chap is too busy dealing with other peoples claims, is all he says when chased.

After I was told I got approved for short term disability over a month ago, I'm still waiting for my first check. After speaking to several of sedgwick reps nothing still has been done. Spoke to a rep yesterday and she said check was mailed on the 25th. Still haven't received the check 4 days later. My surgery was on June 4th and today is June 28th. The last rep was very unprofessional. She stated my claim just was accepted. When i knew i qualified for short term before the surgery. All around bad Sedgwick experience.

The worst company to deal with. My providers have to fax information several times to Sedgwick because they lie about not receiving information. There is a lack of communication. Sedgwick has not paid me since the beginning of the year. They have no empathy for clients. I have used all of my savings. People are loosing their homes, cars, unable to feed their families and etc

The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. They do not make it easy for you. I have aging parents and my company has a policy that I can get up to 80 hours paid for the care of my parents. The paperwork is ridiculous. So many questions for the doctors to fill out. I submitted for start date of 5/19 as my dad was hospitalized. I had the hospital fill out the paperwork for continues care of my dad. The approval finally came in but start date of 6/3 . They only approved 2 hours per week of care for my dads appointments. I live an hour away. The approval pretty much only covers my drive time and then why only 2 hours per week???? The care requested was for intermittent, it was indicated could be up to 4 hours per day 5 days a week. When I contacted Sedgewick they told me I would need to have all paperwork completed again. This is just to much to deal with on top of the stress of my parents at the end of their lives. Way to go Sedgwick!!!! My sister lives in Oregon and had one form total to fill out and no obstacles. A few years prior I needed time off for my husbands surgery. They kept rejecting the paperwork from the doctor as not completed enough and kept denying it. I gave up after a while. They make it to hard for these doctors to fill out the forms appropriately, there is way to much paperwork and to many questions. I wouldnt even give this place one star , would give zero if that was option.

This company is the biggest bait and switch. I rented a storage unit at a Public Storage facility in Douglasville, GA. They have a severe RAT problem. Rats got into the storage unit and destroyed over $17,000 worth of building materials. I read the brochure that was handed to me at the storage facility which stated that the coverage for vermin was a max of $2,500. I filed a claim and was told that I would receive $250. I went back and looked at the brochure and in fine print at the bottom it says "This is meant to serve as a general description only. For more details on the coverage, exclusions and requirements of the policy, please refer to the copy of the Certificate of Insurance." So I pull up the policy and it says a max of $250. This is a bait and switch if I have ever seen one.
