I found a piece of plastic in a gummy vitamin distributed by CVS. I called CVS and was on the phone with them for nearly an hour! I was told that someone would reach out. Radio silence for months.... I eventually (months later) received a letter from Sedgwick indicating that someone had been trying to reach me. I called them and learned that they did not have my correct phone number. They took the number and someone would be reaching out. Again, nothing. I called again and was told that the manufacturer would be reaching out. Here we are six months later and still nothing. I called again and was told to reach out to the manufacturer myself. Seriously, what a waste of time. I had merely contacted CVS to let them know of a hard plastic particle in a vitamin product thinking that they might be concerned and the response has been pitiful.

Had to take off work for health issues. First time ever had to take more than a day. From December 23 to January 2nd. Was only scheduled to work one day (December 27th) the whole time because of the holidays. But still had to submit a "Fit for duty" claim to Sedgwick. Submitted the medical records like I was supposed to. Doctor approved for me to return on January 2nd. I informed Sedgwick of this and they asked for documentation or proof of me returning to work. Spoke to HR and they said they had already emailed all the documentation sedgwick would need. I again messaged sedgwick that I was informed everything had already been emailed to them. Two days later I received an email stating they received my application to extend my medical leave. In no way, shape or form did I say anything about extending the leave. Especially since I had already been back to work for a couple weeks. How do you turn "I was informed that all the documentation was emailed to you from HR" into "I want to extend my medical leave"?? Makes no sense!

They make you want to kill yourself. Opened and closed my disability case within 24 hours and never sent me paperwork and denied. I asked why and she said she didn’t know! Flat out lied! I looked at my inbox and it said I withdrew it and no documents. She just kept lying and she did it twice in a week! and guess what, they opened again and closed. That’s 3 times within 9 days and still making excuses. I’m convinced that certain examiners are the devil. Tomorrow will be day 10 of dealing with them and Nordstrom workers comp people are just as bad! That’s another whole tortourous ordeal, rude condescending horrid evil people, disgusting.

Had the furniture for less than a week and found a bed bug in my loveseat. Made them come and pick up the furniture immediately!! It's been over a month since that happened and I'm supposed to have Sedgwick do my claim and Terminix do my pest control. Haven't heard a peep from Terminix and Sedgwick stopped returning my calls as well. At this point ALL 3 companies are worthless and have 0 communication skills. Go elsewhere to rent furniture if needed...STAY AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES!!!

Horrible company. The guy who came to my house didn’t even measure or look at the damage and just sent USAA insurance companies an artificiallly low estimate. This company is not ethical. Don’t even let them in your house

This has been, without question, the most mismanaged insurance ordeal I have ever encountered. While I am not an attorney, I strongly suspect this could even be classified as insurance fraud. My daughter was involved in a car accident with an individual insured by Falls Lake Insurance. Rather than handling claims directly, Falls Lake outsourced their claims management to Sedgwick Claims Management. The accident occurred at a "T" intersection, with my daughter traveling on the through street while the insured driver approached from the intersecting road. Per the police report, the collision happened in the intersection. My daughter provided her statement just two days after the accident, which was entirely consistent with the police report. However, days turned into weeks without any communication from Sedgwick. I left multiple voicemail messages—about eight in total—and sent several unanswered emails. Frustrated, I began escalating the issue by contacting the claims representative’s supervisor. After a month, I finally received a call from the supervisor, who informed me that the claim was being denied because the two accounts of the incident did not match. She claimed that the other party reported my daughter had rear-ended their vehicle. I sought clarification and asked, "Did the driver say my daughter hit their car from behind?" To my astonishment, the supervisor admitted, "No, we did not speak with the driver. This was a statement made by the dealership." I was floored. I pointed out that a statement from a party who did not witness the accident could not be used as credible evidence. Her response? "The driver will not speak with us." I then inquired whether they had spoken to the second passenger in the vehicle. She admitted they had not but said she would attempt to contact them. A week later, the claims agent called to officially deny the claim, stating that they had now spoken to the second passenger. This time, the story changed completely: they claimed the accident did not occur at the intersection. Instead, they alleged the insured driver was traveling in the opposite direction on the same road as my daughter, and she swerved into their vehicle. This version contradicts the police report entirely. The way this company handled the claim was utterly dishonest and deceptive. Falls Lake Insurance and Sedgwick Claims Management have demonstrated a shocking lack of integrity. My experience with them has been beyond frustrating, and I would strongly advise others to steer clear of both companies.

A total shambles . Miss handled my mothers (age 80) lost roof claim due to storm damage . Left her with a leaking roof for well over a month . Builders who were appointed were cowboys , still trying to sort out the mess . A pity when you get insurance that you dont know how is behind the insurance provider .

There is an obvious reason why this company has such a low score. It intentionally delays providing the paperwork needed to be completed by the doctor, in order to detour people from perusing any claims. I waited almost a whole month to receive said paperwork, calling in multiple times and providing several email addresses. My question is why does it take 3 business days to SEND AN EMAIL?!?!?

The most horrible, rude, unorganized and unprofessional company I've had to deal with. Employers need to cancel using this company to handle their employees claims. They make you feel like your're asking them for something free. Multiple people calling and they're not even on the page. One person tells you something different than your case manager.

I could never talk to my case manager. I was told ten different things by ten different people. My doctor emailed them, and six days later they denied receiving it. I lost a paycheck from all of this.

The worst insurance company I ever dealt with. They’ll hang up on you extremely rude and unprofessional ignore emails and everything in the middle. How does a company such as Home Depot use them is mind blowing.

Slacker outfit claiming an ability to do Lowe’s estimates. The kid can’t even tell me his variety experience! Third party apps are the worse. This app does not work for loading photos. Hmm…. Useless.

I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for months now, and they haven't done anything. I've been waiting for an MRI for 2 months now. They don't even cover my prescriptions. Neither the claims adjuster nor the supervisor pick up the phone when me, my doctor, my boss or the MRI call them.
