“I have been trying to get in touch with my case worker for 4 weeks now and everyone I speak to keeps giving me the runaround and claiming she will call me back I’ve been hung up on twice and haven’t been paid in over a month at this point it feels like I need a lawyer to be able to get anything done or get any answers.”
“I have had my claim open since May. I had knee surgery on 8/1/25. They decided to stop paying me on 7/18. They sent me $50 on 7/18, when my claim is for $613.88 weekly… Today is August 24th. I have not seen a dime since 7/18. I can barely live off 100% of my income, let alone 60% then not getting that for over 45 days! My claim was already open and active before my surgery? When you call you can only leave a VM on a generic mailbox. You can’t even talk to them. I have 85 calls to them and have NEVER gotten a call back! I have sent them 77 e-mails and 2 have been answered. I have been calling. Sending e-mails and begging for money daily. No one has called me back. My employer and I are totally in the dark and are both furious. They have sent me approximately $400 since July. This is almost September.. Try living off $400 with 3 kids, a mortgage, 2 car payments and $300 worth of groceries a week. Let me know how it workss out! I would give anything for their CEO to try this challenge. I am sending my kids to bed hungry. We have nothing left and am owed $613.88 x 6th week today! = $3,683.28.. My family and O are in total finical ruin and it’s 100% this companies fault! I would do anything to have this place shut down!”
“Complete lack of empathy by any employee- just cruel!!! I was already dealing with cancer and then to deal with these people on top of it was horrible. They made me cry every damn day that I had to talk to anyone.. the employees had no idea about anything medical but sure let their opinions be known. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this company.”

“Had to engage with this dreadful company through an insurance claim via Tesco Insurance for our home. Severe lack of communication. Different person made contact with us almost every time, thus no continuity or understanding of the issues that were ongoing for more than several months! Would only reply to emails or phone calls late on a Friday afternoon, before closing for the weekend, thus causing further delays. Had to escalate every other week to senior management just to get a response from them. Promised people would attend, they didn't. When they did finally turn up, their own staff admitted that the standard of work from their contractor, KDW, was very poor, shoddy, incomplete. Tesco Insurance were utterly useless, not responding adequately and passing our complaints about Sedgwick directly back TO THEM despite being requested NOT TO! Had to take them to the Insurance Ombudsman in the end, just to get the situation resolved and compensation so the jobs that KDW did so appallingly could be rectified. Absolutely dreadful on ALL counts. AVOID!”

“Sedgwick is one of the worst companies you will ever see. They will find any excuse and any way to deny you they possibly can. No matter how many valid doctors notes and evidence you provide. Both me and my fiancée have dealt with this, and it’s genuinely awful, awful company, don’t rely on Sedgwick for anything.”
“Was told I’d have an answer over a week ago about my short term disability . Nobody will call me back. Neurologist is not sure what’s happening. They thought seizures, stroke, migraines all at once. Still going tests but Sedgwick won’t approve my claim. Just adding stress. Horrible company”
