Awful. Texhnically difficulties should be back by real agents if needed on a 24/7 line. These are people jobs. Do better.

The absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my lifetime. They take months to handle a claim. My Lexus was a lemon and it took Sedgwick two months to complete the buyback while we insured a car that wasn’t even in our possession. Very unprofessional.

Well. There is no negative scoring. Where do I begin. Home Depot uses Sedgwick to their detriment. When you call the number you most always get an answering service. That service takes your message and says someone will return the call within 48 hours. After 6 calls and messages left no return calls were made. What a shocker. They then hire a half rated 3rd party who could barely tie his shoe to estimate the damage Home Depot incurred to my house when delivering a refrigerator. I had decent estimates. But they wanted to use their paid off 3rd party for the estimate. After the 3rd party made the estimate less than 30% of actual costs they refused to go up any. I am going to have to Sue the Home Depot, the 3rd party reviewer and the Sedgwick to get my repairs completed .

Your company further complicates an unfortunate situation of people having to be on leave, you did so with my second child not paying me and acting like I didn’t show proof when I did. Then with my knee surgery not having your documents in line for me to return to work and now with my wife she was ready to return to work a week and a half ago but do to your company she has been stalled at this point your taking money out of our household I would even give you a 1 star if I had the option.

I wish that Sedgwick would make it easier to create a claim and fill out the forms. They ask for too much information.

Absolutely terrible! These are scam artists. They play mind games with you. They never payed my medical bills for my surgery even though there app lied and said they did. They never gave me my correct compensation paychecks when I was off work. Hire an attorney when dealing with these crooks! Even then your gonna struggle but at least in the end you win!

This company is terrible at handling claims. After approval of a claim, they failed to process my payments on multiple occasions. Every time I’d call in to get an update, the rep would place me on hold to try and connect me with my case manager but somehow they could never get them on the phone. When I finally spoke to a rep about a denial on the extension of my STD when I was diagnosed with postpartum depression, the rep mentioned that my depression wasn’t severe enough. In other words, the state deemed my depression severe enough to extend my disability, but it was not severe enough for sedgewick because severe depression would include “loss of memory” and that wasn’t stated on the providers visit notes. She stated that CA would approve disability for anything and anyone.

The representative LAUGHED when she attempted to review the details with me over the phone! She thought it was FUNNY that I was struck on the head by a chunk of snow and ice after it fell off the roof as I entered the store. How can anyone take this business seriously if they don’t take their customers seriously? They DON’T care.

I had a truly awful experience with Sedgwick Claims Management Services. They completely mishandled my small claim and used shady tactics to avoid paying what was owed. The entire process was a nightmare--from poor communication to constant delays, it was clear they were doing everything they could to find ways not to pay. It's no surprise that large corporations work with them; they clearly have no interest in serving the people or fairly processing claims. It's all about protecting the bottom line and finding ways to avoid accountability. I'm extremely disappointed in their practices and will be warning others to stay far away. Shame on them for how they operate.

You’re not sorry because you’ve had lots of complaints against this company and you’re not following your mission statement by any means. The only reason why you got one Star cause I had to in order to be able to put the message here I am dealing with a total neglect. case, and the caseworker, Megan, L Should be fired I don’t know how this company still in business. The employees don’t follow the rules that the company has put out in response to, and no one, no one ever ever answers the phone, so I don’t even know why you publish a phone number.

My experience with Sedgwick Insurance has been nothing short of a nightmare after my vehicle was damaged by an Avis rental car. Sedgwick, Avis's insurance provider, has handled this claim with an appalling lack of professionalism and responsiveness. From the start, Sedgwick has shown little to no interest in processing my claim in a timely manner. I've had to chase down updates and answers on multiple occasions, only to be met with vague responses and endless delays. Despite providing all necessary documentation promptly, Sedgwick has stalled at every step, leaving my car repair needs in limbo. The representatives I dealt with, Thomas Highland and Tiffani Applewhite, displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, only adding to the stress and frustration of this process. Instead of working toward a resolution, they seemed more focused on avoiding responsibility and giving me the runaround, with each interaction leaving me feeling like my claim is not a priority. If you're dealing with damage involving an Avis rental and Sedgwick is involved, prepare for a lengthy, frustrating process. This company’s handling of my case has been extremely disappointing, and I would urge others to be cautious when relying on Sedgwick for insurance support. Their lack of responsiveness and accountability, especially from Highland and Applewhite, is absolutely unacceptable, particularly when dealing with an issue that is already stressful enough.

The worst service. My company hired Sedgwick to manage my leave and it’s been nothing but a bad experience. They provide little to no information on leave benefits and give contradicting information. Such a waste of a companies money to hire someone to manage leave benefits that knows nothing about benefits. Calls at times before business hours.

Purposely delays process & provides vague misleading direction & information to not pay out short term disability. Will call you at random times in hopes you miss the phone call to delay further. Save yourself the headache and consult an ERISA disability lawyer to represent you from day one. Sedgwick is fraudulent and plays every dirty trick in the book to not pay out.

The company I work for used Sedgwick to take care of processing my FMLA family leave. I was pleasantly surprised that you actually talk to a Customer Service Rep right away. It was refreshing to be able to track a live person quickly. However, after submitting my forms via fax and email I was told everything was good. I called every day for two weeks to make sure my case was approved and after the first week I was told I filled the doc out wrong. No one called me, no one reached out to me, nothing. For another week I submitted and resubmitted docs after being told I’m good and then to find out my case is still pending. I returned back to work and they have only approved one week. My dr wrote a letter specifically for two weeks . I am still calling everyday to make sure my case is updated to be approved for the whole two weeks. I have spent so much time calling these people. Maybe better training is needed? I literally had one rep tell me they received my fax docs. Only to call back an hour later and another rep tells me they never received them. Then she was extremely rude on the phone also. Just a horrible experience to have to follow up on something when you have medical issues going on with your family. Horrible experience
