Shocking customer service. Missing items, asking for proof of missing items, blaming fulfilment centres and saying they need photos to ‘investigate’ (that’s right - photos of a missing item) and then they just stop replying.

Placed an order 14th March, after 6 weeks and many emails, the order had never been shipped. So they said they would ship immediately and I would have in a couple of days. 23rd May again after many emails I get a reply from customer services to say the parcel got lost... I said I wanted a full refund and some form of compensation due to them having my money for over 2 months. I finally got a refund but nothing else and no longer replying to my messages, so thought I would warn people just in case this happens to you.

Ordered 12 lemon meringue flapjacks. They arrived with only 4 days left on best before date. When contacted they replied by email “that’s just the best before date. They’re good for another 24 months” what a joke!!

Food and service are fine but be prepared for the deluge of promotional emails received daily - three so far today and its just 12.30

I received my delivery and opened the box, pulled out the product, only to be met with glass sticking out my skin and blood pouring from my hands. None of the products (glass) had been wrapped at all and again the box was paper thin. Once I had removed the glass from my skin and bandaged my hand, I had to tidy up the glass fragments left all over my kitchen countertop and floor. I couldn’t believe the amount of glass that had come out, several of the products had been completely smashed, one white chocolate spread also had glass up inside it all mixed in with it. I contacted the team and I was absolutely shocked at the response. No apology, no help and Nick Strawson, the most incompetent of them all, offered me free shipping on my next delivery only once I had complained to him 3 times to get a response. He constantly refused to acknowledge any of what I was saying and despite my politeness considering the situation, his attitude was disgusting. I couldn’t believe I had been offered free shipping that’s free anyway if you spend a certain amount, as compensation for injuries (that apparently I have to blur my photo of) and my little one who was near me at the time, walking over shards of glass. I sensed an issue with the customer service team, as explained below this is not the first time I had been met with complete lack of care and also naivety. I requested for Mr Whiting to contact me, over a month later, no response. He is far too busy spending his profits whilst accepting his team are acting negligently, sending glass items with no protective wrapping and in a bid to keep profits in his pocket, boxes too thin to even support glass jars. He clearly has not implemented a sufficient packing process, his team just throw the items in the box, probably from a mile distance! I have had to resort to legal action against the company to ensure they do not harm others in the way I have been injured. The company have not taken any steps to change their process, on trust pilot someone 2 days ago posted that her items were left loose in a box, with NO packaging. It all started after my first order placed with them, 2 items were missing. Next order incorrect products received, customer ‘service’ advisor Keira Carr ignored my request via email until I had to contact her twice, again I was met with the “here have free shipping and shut up” attitude. My second order was then incorrect, I had been sent the wrong items. Yet again I had to make contact, ended up with Grace who barely read my email properly, one of the questions was a request for my order number and “Please confirm if any protective wrapping/bubble wrap inside?”. Considering the order number was in the subject of the email and Graces bid to tell me she couldn’t find my order, showed yet again exceptionally appalling service and a complete lack of attempt for Grace to even try to do her job. Her question over packaging clearly confirmed they are aware of an issue and I imagine I am not the only person that’s been cut my their glass products. I have since found another brand of low calorie and sugar products via Amazon whose service and products exceed those of the skinny food company and please unless you want to receive the wrong product, missing items or you and your baby injured, do NOT order from them. There is a lot of other alternatives that do not carry such a risk.

Dreadful company and customer service- ordered protein bars 2nd Dec for Christmas present- still not arrived by end Dec- no communications or apology. Several out of date- thrown into a box with no delivery note. Gave them a second chance- waited 4 weeks - confusing website and I ordered the wrong thing- Nick Strawson less than helpful telling me what I meant to order and it was my mistake. No hint of helping me to rectify situation. I complained and was told I could send them back and he was merely 'pointing out' that it was not their mistake. Don't know where they receive their customer service training if at all- will NOT be dealing with that dreadful place again.

Missing 4 x items from my order. Waited days for a response from customer support to be told that my order was packaged/scanned correctly & there was no missing items. The box which was received was physically FULL, it would have been impossible for the full order to be sent in the box size which i received. When i asked for their recorded shipping weight so i could compare to what i received i was ignored. Absolute scam of a company & certainly not worth the hassle.

Awful company- wish I had read the reviews before ordering! Don't waste your time or money. I ordered £30 worth of products and over half are out of date! Contacted customer services who said it ok the bbf date is only a guide and food is fine to eat for up to 6 months after- basically admitting they new they had sold me out of date products! Go elsewhere - I will never buy from this company again.

I like like many others have not received my order, or any indication of when I will. So after the customer service department stopped responding (the response that I’d received previously I’m sure was a generic one sent to everyone waiting for their late deliveries) I contacted my bank who immediately retrieved my money back from The Skinny Food Co. I would urge anyone mistreated by this company to contact their bank and open a dispute. Gone are the days that banks allow companies to ride roughshod over innocent customers. Awful company avoid like the plague Ordered around 30 products took over 2 weeks to arrive when it did the postman handed me over a tiny box with 7 items in it. Emailed the company several times to complain,have not heard a word back from them I will now go to trading standards about them Looks like I’ve lost my money If I could give them zero stars I would No wonder they don’t have a telephone There would be none stop complaints

Do better! I ordered oat milk from Skinny Food and they gave tracking info which was false, never posted the items and never responded to any of my correspondence. 0 stars. The only way to get their attention was to dispute the transaction through Paypal. I won't be using you again and I hope nobody else does either. You seem to care about the money more than customer service.

Paid £5.99 for express shipping nearly 2 weeks ago and still nothings been dispatched. What makes it worse is that I'm constantly getting emails/adverts about the company's next day delivery service and offers! No updates from the company or message on their website about delays. No offer of refund for the 5.99 shipping. Seems as though a lot of people feel the same. Rubbish

Very bad customer service in terms of response accurary and time. In addition, took my money for an order, cancelled it without any explanation, and then didn't refund me the money until I asked twice for it. Stay clear of this company if you like hassle-free service.

Out of date food, refuse refunds and block you on social media. There is a facebook group called (Report The Skinny Food Co to Trading Standards) wish I had seen the reviews before.
