Just nasty arrogant people. Must be a company ethic. When the time for billing came, my payment method failed due to card having been cancelled. I honestly thought I had a DD with them. So they sent me an email about it on the spot, and I immediately logged on and changed the payment method. Instead of them taking the payment right there and then, they decided to email me to tell me all is fine and that, not to worry, they would take double the amount on the next payment run. They, word for word, told me that I did not have to do anything. Then I got a blank marker on my credit score. Disgusting nasty people. Can't wait for contract to end.

Sky. What a rip off. Wish I'd never cancelled Virgin Media. Not only is the broadband inferior, it's very slow, constantly failing, on and off nearly every day, at any time, and drives me mad. I moved to an area where the signal wasn't as good as my last address, less than half. I expected the price to drop, it didn't, I asked they said no. WHY??? I understand that it is not your fault I moved. I don't understand why it hasn't dropped in price, because it isn't my fault you can't even supply the lack lustre broadband you provided before. My internet is now around 26 - 32 mbps, making it slower than my mobile phone powered by 3 mobile Internet. My package was renamed to the 35 mbps package, without my permission, I am paying for the 70 mbps package, this is what should be showing on my bill, nothing else. The tv signal is also terrible. If I record anything, watch anything live it drifts in and out of signal, pixilated picture. Ruins my programme's. They even increased my package price this month. An absolute liberty. I have to put up with this until November. Then the ordeal will be over.

i have been a sky customer for over 11 years and never missed my monthly payments , i asked sky why new customers are getting a much cheaper deal than i have ?? anyone joining sky get a better package at a cheap rate ? there adviser said that i am free to leave sky if i am not happy with them as they cannot improve on the new increases in June 2023 - so i contacted Virgin who offered me a full package with internet & tv & telephone etc with a 18month contract for £28.25 cheaper than sky -

It’s now clear sky are fraudulently breaking the law when not telling customers their contracts are ending what next OR they have now changed their sports channels without telling customers are they above the law

I do not understand why they do not give offers to existing customers. Contacted customer service and "Akshay" then increased the price of the bill to more than what we are currently paying. CANCELLED CONTRACT

Don't join sky they are scammers. I went from £27 to £68. They tell you what you want to hear and then tell you when you want to cancel packagers you will be fined. Scammers!!! Avoid like the plague

After 9 years of being with Sky its time to switch to Virgin after the most appalling customer service and cost increase I have ever known. Sky contract expires in April so rung up to continue exact same package as I am currently on. I was told my current deal that I am on is very good (£54 a month) but they can offer me a new deal for only £77 a month! Wow thanks Sky and thanks the sales assistant Jayashree who so kindly tried to rob me blind. So they want to give me the exact same TV channels, the exact same appalling customer service from India for an increase in monthly cost of 42.6%. Just another company trying to bankrupt the hard working and loyal customers of the UK all whilst lining their own directors and shareholders pockets. Disgraceful and should be utterly ashamed of how you treat your existing and loyal customers

I have cancelled my account during the beginning of January only to find out that my account has been reinstated without my permission. The customer advisor called Kathleen was quite rude and said I must have activated it as I need my bank detail or someone else use my account to, which is ridiculous. Something they've done and trying to fault me. The first advisor mentioned it was cheeky of the person to reinstate my account, he checked the history, and saw who activated my account and said it was without me being aware. I have been calling numerous time to find out what is happening only to be forwarded to department after another. My problem has not been solved! Now I have a active account and I have to fork up the bill again!? I paid my last bill!! Waiting for management to call me, apparently a 24/hr waiting.

Sky mobile will not allow you to remove parental controls, and thus access your full SIM functionality (which you have paid for), unless you have a credit card, or have a credit agreement with them. I have neither and offered a passport / mortgage documents to prove i am an adult. This back and forth via approx a dozen emails and calls resulted in sky saying its their policy and nothing can be done. I asked for it to be raised as a formal complaint to their policy / management team. This took several more emails and calls and they eventually said the complaint would be raised and then immediately marked as resolved, as nothing could be done. This is a frustrating outcome and its a silly policy that allows no way to prove your adulthood apart from essentially getting into debt via a credit card, or getting a credit agreement. Customer service was polite, but kept going in circles in an effort to simply wear you down. Pretty poor show sky!

Shambolic treatment of a vulnerable lady who couldn’t afford a subscription anymore, bombarding me with threatening letters, even though I gave them all the notice required they charge me £802 now, which is let me in financial hardship and caused me. No end of suffering, avoid them like the plague there’s plenty of other great TV companies out there no wonder they are losing customers

Oh dear. 22 years with Sky. Diamond VIP: none of it means a thing. I have wasted over 3 hours on the phone trying to resolve an issue started with one of their advisors putting me into an unsuitable contract. I’m afraid our relationship is over and I am now referring the matter to small claims court. I am not sure why they now have such an unreliable customer service team. The representatives all appear very helpful but promises of return calls fail to materialise and undertakings to offer a resolution are not honoured. I would urge anyone with similar issues to take legal action to at least air the matter.

I have been a sky customer in excess of 10 years (broadband). Always paid by direct debit & never missed a payment. I called on 24/11/22 to terminate my account as i had moved to Virgin. Was told services would stop on 08/12/2022 due to 14 day notice period as i am out of contract. Sky have since taken two further payments from my account in December 22 and January 23. They said due to a system glitch it is preventing cancelation of my account. trying to find someone who speaks English there to resolve my problem is a challenge!!.. Still no closer to receiving my money back.

Sky are absolutely shocking, we have had an ongoing issue scince last November and have regularly spent hours on the phone getting passed about between appartments with no success at all. Managers promise to phone you back and never, ever do. Do Not Buy From Sky.

My elderly mother is been ripped off every year as Sky just take more money without any notice, I am an the account but they will not take calls, I even write letters to them to try and make contact. They are a joke - only in Ireland would it not be illegal to take monye out without notifiying the customer beforehand.

Posted on behalf of my son who moved into his new Northants house in late December. Sky failed to turn up for the Broadband installation in the days before Christmas and then missed the second appointment today with no prior notice and a 4-week wait for the next appointment. AVOID !!!!!
