“I ordered some goalie gloves online for £12.99 and when they came with a big sticker saying Now only £8 big slap in the face, they could have removed so I didn’t have to know. Won’t be using this site again”

“Spent ages looking for a particular Adidas hoody for Grandson who was buying it himself with birthday money...ordered it only to receive a different style without any explanation or apology! Quality of the garment is suspect, labels sewn on crooked and some seams ratty with loose ends, NOT what I expected from an Adidas item which we have bought before...I had cut some of the labels out before I realised it was the wrong hoody and as Grandson said he didn't mind we decided to keep it. I did email SD who wanted me to send photos but with having already removed the labels I thought they would probably refuse to change it anyway...not a happy customer and will not buy from them again, wish I had bought direct from Adidas as it was the same price!”

“As usual there is no personal contact with sports direct, no way to actually speak to a person. Frequently asked questions frequently skirt any issue you might have. Trying to return something because it simply does not fit does not come into their A B C list of reasons for return. Sports direct discriminates against people that may not understand computers smartphones or the digital age, this could be addressed by simply talking to the customers they try so hard to avoid. Sports direct fell far short of my expectations as a customer. I will not be requiring the services of sports direct in the future.”

“I Left something off my order by mistake (my fault). I went back on to amend it immediatly but found i couldnt so i had to order it separately. I tried to contact customer services but site wouldn't let me. Couldnt get through on phone to cancel or ammend. Managed to email and ask if order could be put together as i didnt want to pay £7.99 twice for next day delivery. If not i would cancel and reorder. The order came two days later (paid extra for next day delivery). Then i got a reply a couple of days later saying because of the fast action of workers they were unable to put the order together but i could refuse delivery. When i replied to say i had recieved it a day late after paying extra for next day service, twice! i have had no reply.”

“1 out of 4 items arrived. I had to chase my items to be told they’re either broken beyond repair and therefore will be refunded or an item has been lost. & I’ve paid postage for all this. I’m cross that I had to chase this. The customer service I did finally receive was great so thank you to the person/people that looked into this for me but the response time here is also ridiculous”
