“Different size of the shoes in the box than written on the box. Trying to find out why and was told that SD is converting sizes from US to UK. Bought same shoes two years ago and the sizes (box and shoes) were the same. Regardless somebody's mistake I have to pay for return... Not fair realy.”

“I ordered some cricket clothes online. Ordered 2 sets of pants and 3 shirts. Got the order and the items where a little too small, so i sent them back for exchange to get the next size up. I sent all 5 items back. I only got 3 items in return, so now in the process of trying to get the other remaining two items back..... bit disappointing that we could not the exchange part right!”

“Disappointed that after 3 attempts to buy products that clearly stated was in stock on the website, sports direct were happy to take my debit money from my transactions. Emails the following day highlighted these were then out of stock. On another note, I paid for next day delivery and again when emailed to the customer service team about my items being posted 3 days after, no refund for additional charges for next day were returned. Also, a follow up email was sent to your customer service team and your policy stating these could be responded, no communication or a polite response was sent regarding delivery information. The only response received that sports direct would hope to get these items posted to me after paying next day delivery. Not a great experience of Sports Direct and their customer service.”

“My overall experience of ordering with Sports Direct was poor. After I made my initial order, I decided that I was not happy with my order and I wanted to cancel my order. I emailed Customer Service about cancelling my order, and I was told that orders are processed as soon as they are made to get orders to the customers as soon as possible. This was frustrating because I knew that I didn't want my order, therefore I didn't want my order to be sent to me. Because I couldn't cancel my order, this meant that I had to wait for my order to arrive, and then go through the hassle of returning it at the nearest possible place. Once the order actually arrived, I had to make time to return my order to the nearest possible place. What was dissapointing about the return service was that, unlike MANY other online retailers that provide free return postage services, Sports Direct require you to pay for returns which was extremely disappointing. Not only did I have to make time to go to the nearest shop to return my parcel, I had to also pay for packaging too whilst there are many retailers out there that provide free return services. It will be extremely unlikely I will be shopping from Sports Direct again due to the extremely poor customer service.”

“Excellent fast delivery, the only downfall is when I've an item to the basket and goes through ok as if it is in stock then the next day I receive an item is out of stock. If it would tell me at the time of ordering I would order something else otherwise I'm having to pay postage again”
