“shame 1 of my items not delivered as i paid and showing available and still is.. after saying sold out very odd took about 5 days for my refund! at odds now to re order again as that was my first time.”

“My overall experience of ordering with Sports Direct was poor. After I made my initial order, I decided that I was not happy with my order and I wanted to cancel my order. I emailed Customer Service about cancelling my order, and I was told that orders are processed as soon as they are made to get orders to the customers as soon as possible. This was frustrating because I knew that I didn't want my order, therefore I didn't want my order to be sent to me. Because I couldn't cancel my order, this meant that I had to wait for my order to arrive, and then go through the hassle of returning it at the nearest possible place. Once the order actually arrived, I had to make time to return my order to the nearest possible place. What was dissapointing about the return service was that, unlike MANY other online retailers that provide free return postage services, Sports Direct require you to pay for returns which was extremely disappointing. Not only did I have to make time to go to the nearest shop to return my parcel, I had to also pay for packaging too whilst there are many retailers out there that provide free return services. It will be extremely unlikely I will be shopping from Sports Direct again due to the extremely poor customer service.”

“Excellent fast delivery, the only downfall is when I've an item to the basket and goes through ok as if it is in stock then the next day I receive an item is out of stock. If it would tell me at the time of ordering I would order something else otherwise I'm having to pay postage again”

“Got sent the wrong colour in a hoody i bought for my son in laws birthday. Took them 2 weeks to reply other than an automated email saying exactly the same thing, send in pics which i did 3 times! Was told in small print can send another colour option!!! Which wasn’t even on their website!! I paid £5 to have delivered and will have to pay again to send back!! Disgraceful service!”

“Two weight sent in plastic bag one fell out en route returned! Cancelled order as too slow sorting out ordered elsewhere. Advised I’d get Money refunded still waiting. Then I received one Not 2, weights delivered. Even making allowances for lockdown home working etc the chaotic and totally useless response to my first order means I have very low opinion I’d like my money refunded ASAP I don’t need half of order I cancelled very slow poor response”

“Very poor returns process compared to others. I ended up spending around £9 delivery costs (both ways) for a pair of badly fitting boots. Will not use Sports Direct again ....I have learnt my lesson!!”

“Don’t understand why the freight more than doubles when I went to but two of the same item. Other than that, they have a good range to choose from, but the starting prices, before their promo pricing, are too high.”

“Good shopping experience, high shipping cost, terrible process to get the goods through customs (had to send many papers to DHL in order to get the goods delivered). I hope I will not have to pay for that service eventually.”
