“So unbeknownst to me sports directs return policies are you can only have a refund if you purchased online but if you purchased in store you can only get a credit note which I find a little bit strange and I've never had that in my 57 years, but what is actually even worse is the inept customer service that refuses to help you and just returns you back to the store where you come from, I can comfortably say I will never ever use sports direct again and I will encourage as many people as I possibly can to do the same”

“I bought some Nike joggers online which turned out to be a bigger size than we wanted. The stores would not accept returns and I had to pay about £4.99 for them to accept my return via inpost. I think it very unfair that I had to loose so money to return my items. In total I had to pay 4.99 for the delivery of my order then paid another 4.99 for returns, which is £9.98 for just trying to buy from sports direct. It is not worth it. I will never buy on their website again and would warn others to stay away, as their after sales service is horrific.”

“Solid store with good deals and wide product range. Delivery usually works, and prices are competitive. Sometimes customer service is unhelpful and the sizing or quality can feel inconsistent, but overall I’m happy with my purchases.”

“Incorrectly labelled and described goods with a terrible credit only return policy. Ordered these: https://www.sportsdirect.com/karrimor-run-5-inch-shorts-mens-453096#colcode=45309603 and they did not list an interior lining that completely messes up when wearing anything else. Also £5 minimum shipping for a week, or £5 for click and collect is crazy, especially for 2025 and with how many brands the fraser group now own....”

“It is THE worst company I have ever had to deal with! No refunds, can't call or speak to a 'real' person not a robot! Don't give a toss that they clothes etc are faulty! Lowestoft management....don't start me off Heaven knows how they are still trading ! Do yourself a favour go ti JD Sports !! Appalling...”

“Terrible company!! I took a tennis skirt back (within 7 days) as I didn’t particularly like it and it didn’t fit right on me. The lady on the till (Tracey, I believe) refused to give me a refund, due to ‘company policy’. According to Tracey, Sports Direct does not give refunds for any purchases in store, only a credit note or exchange is given!!”
