“I ordered a gym shirt, its been three weeks now and no sign of my order. I first emailed them and apparently my order got lost in the warehouse so the dispatcher never received it. the dispatcher finally gets it and I find out my order has been cancelled and being sent back to Sports Direct. Worst experience I have had and this isn't even made up.”

“I went into sports direct confused and flustered, and I was assisted by a caring member of staff, from the Kingston sports direct branch called Adelaide She was super attentive and made it very comfortable for me to shop. I’ve honestly never experienced customer service like that before, and felt it was important for me to share that here”

“I ordered my parcel and the address was very clear it was 49. My house number is big and bold you can’t miss it. The said I got my parcel and it has been delivered but I didn’t have it. Then I seen the photo proof and it was at the house across the street. Also has a bold ‘48’ not 49. That house wouldn’t have given me my parcel if they had got it but luckily I got it before they came back. Very disappointed. Pay more attention.”

“⭐ 1 Star Avoid Sports Direct (Sports Soccer) – shocking customer service and zero accountability. I wouldn’t even give them one star if I could help it. I ordered items and never received them — yet they claim they were delivered. Here's the problem: they left it in a “secure location.” Newsflash — there is no secure location. I never gave permission for anything to be left without signature, and there’s zero proof anyone accepted it. I contacted customer service, thinking they’d be helpful. Wrong. I was met with generic copy-paste responses and complete avoidance of responsibility. They refused to refund or replace the items and basically told me to chase the courier myself. That’s not how customer service works — the contract is with them, not the delivery company. Their terms and conditions say parcels must be left safely — yet mine’s vanished and apparently that’s fine by them. No effort to investigate. No care given. Absolutely disgraceful experience. I will never buy from them again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else take the risk either. There are plenty of other retailers out there who respect their customers — this lot clearly don’t.”

“After my withdrawal was rejected, I found myself locked out of my trading account. It was stressful, and I felt helpless. However, Mrs. Mercy and her team stepped in and took charge. They worked diligently to unlock my account and recover my funds. Their professionalism and care made all the difference.”

“Bought a large order of the same swimsuit for my swim group. The sizing is far too small. The size 10 is more like a small 8. The issue is buying online means I cannot return according to policy that is only stated AFTER purchase and seen when trying to return to get the correct size. This is even though some are still in original packaging . I’m very disappointed in the swimsuit sizing ( quality etc is great ) but even more disappointed with Sports Direct policy. Trying to con act them has been impossible.”

“I’ve never written a negative review before, but my experience with this company was so frustrating and unfair that I feel obligated to warn others. I received a faulty product, and despite clear signs of a defect, the company refused to take responsibility. Their “warehouse inspection team” claimed the damage was due to wear and tear — a claim that is both false and completely unsubstantiated. They offered zero transparency about the inspection, ignored my concerns, and sent the damaged item back to me without resolving anything. I was left with a defective product that I paid full price for, and their customer service was dismissive and rigid throughout. I even asked for ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) to handle the issue fairly, and they showed no intention of helping. This is not how a serious or trustworthy company treats its customers. If you’re considering buying from them — think twice. Their return policy is meaningless, and once they have your money, they’ll do everything to avoid accountability. I’ll be reporting them to Trading Standards and Citizens Advice, and I strongly suggest others do the same if they’ve been treated similarly”
