“Ordered two dumbbell weights online. When they arrived they were plastered all over with stickers pricing them at lower than what I'd already paid. Already in very bad taste. Then I discovered one of them was damaged, it had a small rip with brown stains all over. I got in contact with customer service about both of these issues and the service I received was absolutely abysmal. Not only was Tanya from customer services incredibly rude, she kept closing my enquiry before I was satisfied it had been resolved. This happened three times! Even though I provided pictures of the damage clearly, she indicated I would have to pay if I chose to return the items and would only be POTENTIALLY refunded postage if they determined significant damage upon receipt. Of course with the customer service I had received so far I had no faith this would be followed up on properly and didn't want to pay postage twice for items I would get to keep, so am now left having paid full price for damaged items that were on discount. Awful people work for Sports Direct and I will never be buying there again.”

“Good smooth easy website to use. Reasonable prices, fairly reasonable good discounts. Quality of socks, good. Warm. & cosy Reasonable price for multiple sets of socks. Does shed a certain amount of fluff on first wear but my son in law says they last very long time, and wash well. Quick delivery.”

“Being a nervous online shopper I was a little apprehensive about ordering online. I worried about how payments would work, how quickly I would receive my orders and the quality of product. Well thank you sports direct I can honestly say 5 star service all around, from ordering, communication and quality!! Thank you. A pleasure to have ordered with you. We even had to send one pair of boots back, as the wrong size came, but the return was easy and within days the correct size was delivered. Julie, very happy customer”

“Poor, ordered 25kg set of dumbbells. Payment was taken then put back in account. Went on to order more weights. Now stuck with both sets of weights with payment taken on same day a few days after both orders were dispatched. Customer service don’t respond on how to send back and if I have to pay to return”

“I ordered a jacket for my granddaughters birthday. When it came, we saw there was a security tag on the jacket. This wasn't ideal as my granddaughter was wanting to wear the jacket straight away. We sent back the jacket looking for an exchange, or for the security tag to be taken off. However, we were told that there were no more jackets in the size we originally ordered. I don't understand this, as the issue with the jacket wasn't the size, it was that it was faulty - it had a security tag on it. Why sports direct couldn't remove the tag and send the same jacket back out is beyond me. We were told that the money was going to be refunded to our account. Also, I had to pay for postage to send the jacket back as you don't offer pre paid returns. I have sent over my proof of postage twice now, to ask fo this to be reimbursed to myself. It states on your website that if an item is faulty, you will refund the money for the cost of posting the package. I'm still waiting on communication regarding this. Since this, I have ordered the same jacket from a different website, and had no issues. Won't be using this website again, and certainly won't be recommending it.”
