“£237 to have a custom wedding dress made after confirming with them they accept returns and offer returns etc if the dress is poor quality or not what I was expecting. I was promised 15 days turn around, 27 days later it finally came and is unwearable! My ivory dress was delivered with 3 random pieces of white appliqué that stand out like a sore thumb, all with plastic threads hanging off/out. The tulle skirts are a solid 3 inches longer than the base skirt and not cut straight so they are all wonky and different lengths to each other. One of the cups is sewn in to the side instead of the front creating a weird gaping effect that apparently is my body rather than their obviously wonky sewing. When I requested a refund they went back on what they had previously told me and refused it, according to Scamees they sent me a perfect dress and even included a picture of said perfect dress in their email. The dress pictured was white, my dress is ivory. They then offered me £20 for me to take my dress to a seamstress to fix their errors or for an additional £50 they will remake the whole thing! Utterly awful, I took a gamble trying to get a cheap wedding dress for my small and low key wedding and it did not pay off.”

“Terrible refund process. I ordered two dresses and spent £17 on shipping only for them to arrive late and miss the event. The refunds process is really difficult and now after reading these reviews, I am not holding out hope of getting any of my £200 back. They offered me a refund of £35 and have said 'we might not even receive the dresses' when I send them back which doesn't fill me with hope. I am so upset, £200 down the drain and a terrible refund process. I will be contacting Trading Standards/anywhere else I can find as I think the process is disgusting.”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Ordered a bridesmaid dress and after it taking 3 weeks to arrive, the dress that arrived was nothing like it was advertised. Awful quality and and awful shape. Looked like a curtain!! When I tried to return they have this backwards policy where you can only claim 70% of your refund back? How is that allowed? When they finally replied to me after weeks of emailing them, they said If I went for the 70% refund I would still have to pay half for delivery and that’s without a guarantee they would receive it! Ultimately they gave me no other option than to accept a £25 refund. I have attached the photo of what dress they advertised compared to what arrived! Awful! They are a shocking company with shocking customer service!! Do not buy from here!!”

“Shocking customer services! worse dress I’ve ever seen ! Zip broken and they just don’t bother replying to my ticket or email. I understand that you pay for what you get but my god is the dress just awful! Absolutely disgraceful not even try to resolve the broken zip issue let alone the excuse of a dress. You’ve not heard the last STACEES !”

“I ordered a lovely dress, standard size unfortunately it came and had been customised and did not fit I contacted stacees and sent photos of the dress with tags and a description where it did not fit like they asked for ….. but have no reply to my emails even though I have contacted them several time … the dress was for my daughters wedding and I couldn’t wear it …. I am thoroughly disappointed in there customer service as the dress was not cheap.”

“SHOCKING SERVICE SHOCKING ITEM DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE - EVER 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 I ordered a made to measure dress and specified a date that I needed it by as I was going to a special event and I wanted to look amazing. (6th August 2022). I emailed more than once and did not materialise . They had promised in writing an estimated delivery date for 4th Aug I had also asked that if they couldn’t get it to me by that date then I wouldn’t order. It finally arrived 11th August - far to late for my event and on further inspection the dress is awful, all the seams are pulled and the material is cheap and tacky and the finishing is dreadful.👎👎. I had emailed on 6th August to ask where it was and to get a refund. Also my postman brought to my attention that they had not even used my correct address, it’s only that my postman knows my name that it actually arrived. I’m still waiting for my FULL REFUND £125.00 even after asking more than 5 times. They’re quick enough to take your money but don’t give it back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE APPALLING. Don’t even reply to emails. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎”

“Horrendous customer services! Extremely easy to talk to them when you're placing an ordering and they're taking your money BUT as for returns and refund they are virtually non-responsive. I've tried contacting them via social media, emails and WhatsApp without success. I am kicking myself that I didn't check the horrendous reviews before buying!!! Looks like alot of unhappy customers saying the same thing. Shame on you!”

“Avoid like the plague.... Disgusting customer service. I wasn't happy with the product and wanted to return it. I (eventually, after chasing up a WhatsApp number to contact) got a return email with a massive guilt trip about how long had been spent making it. They gave me the option of £35 towards someone else adjusting it or to pay them another £70 for a new dress, which for me admits fault. The last email I sent requested a return address in exchange for a refund and I have been ignored. Absolutely disgusting!!! I am resigned to the fact I am not getting a refund and hope no one else is put in the same position.”

“SHOCKING! My daughters prom dress arrived, late, and didn't fit. I contacted 'Cassie' using the 'chat' function and was asked to send an email to customer services, which I did. 'Wendy' then asked me to send photo's of the dress. This company is a complete SCAM and clearly never intend to give refunds. I will be taking this as far as I can as it is totally unacceptable for this company to be operating and ripping people off.”

“I’m so upset. I ordered a dress from this company and we confirmed my measurements so many times. The dress arrived yesterday and it’s not even close to fitting. The material is also very cheap. This is a very expensive dress I bought for my sons wedding. I’m devastated”

“If you have any sense you will NOT order from this company. The dress I recieved looks absolutely nothing like the dress i ordered. It took over 6wks to arrive, bearing in mind i paid extra for a quicker delivery. This was too late for my daughter's wedding. I have therefore emailed Stacees twice now to request a refund and have been completely ignored. I have learnt a lesson here and in future I will buy from a local shop or one with positive reviews. I paid £130 in total...a complete waste of money. On top of all that the dress doesn't even fit after i measured myself correctly and gave full details of this.”

“Do not order from this company Do not order from this company! I wish I had read these reviews before ordering! Two of the dresses do not fit, I sent pictures proving this. They then said I couldn’t return them and have offered no help to return them. I have been told if I return them I will only get 70% of my money back and will have to pay £40 shipping! Not the stress you need when already going through the stress of organising a wedding. Seriously avoid at all costs! Scam company!”

“Was just going to order 4 bridesmaids dresses from this company but reading these reviews I glad I didn't .when I was looking at the dresses on site a little head popped up asking if I needed any help I asked her would I be able to send these dresses back if they didn't fit or if we didn't like them her reply was yes but after reading thier return policy it's says you can return if the dresses are damaged so I questioned her again and she still said that yes you could return I'm glad I went with my gut feelings and didn't order plus they don't tell you it's 40 pound for shipping and 40 pound to send them back so happy I didn't order”

“The dress is sub standard the stitching is terrible the netting and lace are very cheap quality it's a £5 dress made in a sweat shop that they try n pass off as high end prices now I can't get my money back its ridiculous”

“Dress came through and it fit my bridesmaid well and was good material but was a completely different colour to the picture. I asked for a refund, they made me send a photo of it and then said the colour is correct. I told them that the dress is pink and I ordered nude for my wedding theme but they refused to give a refund. What a waste of £89. Don’t bother with them”
