I bought a pair of expensive ladies walking boots, Danner & they have a scratch on them. I contacted Stuart’s Customer service who say this is “normal” for the boot. It is a deep scratch so how they could say this is normal I have no idea. They advised if I want a refund I have to pay for the cost of returning them, their customer service is unprofessional and poor, if you don’t want to chance paying £320 for a pair of damaged boots I’d shop elsewhere.

very dissatisfied, i have made my order expecting to receive it in 7 days and it has now been 3 days shy of a month and the depot is holding my package hostage for 51 dollars on top of the money i have spent to get my items to canada. im not a happy customer.

So firstly, I ordered trainers in an 8.5 and a 9.5 was sent to me. I returned these and filled in the form requesting an exchange. A few days later I received an email stating my new item had been despatched. A few days following the email I received another email saying my t-shirt had been sent? I replied to this email to say a mistake must have been made as I didn't order a T-shirt. I was then told a I would be refunded for the T-shirt which made no sense to me so I queried this. It was then explained the wrong item had been despatched again so I would be refunded the remaining for my trainers and would have to order again. Needless to say the whole process of ordering from yourselves has been appalling and I will not be ordering the trainers I originally wanted from yourselves. Thanks, Jamie Thistle.

Dear Jamie , You are right to be upset, complete mess up on our part. 99.9% we get it right and I can’t apologise enough that your order experience was just totally off. Terrible customer service. Emailed regarding a VAT query due to additional hidden costs added to order, this was ignored. No response. Will not be using again.

Got surprised by a 28€ overcharge at customs (for a 110€ purchase). There was not any warning whatsoever about additional customs charge shipping to Portugal. Unacceptable. Not going to buy again from Stuarts. Best regards, Antonio

It’s hard to write a view yet when I’ve been waiting for a week or more for my items to be delivered and there’s still no sign of it so let’s hope it gets delivered soon before I put a negative review on here

I ordered a US size 11 and that is what was on the receipt/document in the package. However, the shoes that I received were a US size 10.5. Not great but as I live in the US I don’t really want to pay international rates to have them shipped back to you in London.

I ordered 2 pairs of jeans from them and never received them, I had to call a number of times to finally be told they had the jeans and they would be refunding my card, waiting a few days again no refund or explanation what was going on and now I have been told it should be in my account within 7 days even though the normal procedure is 3 working days for the bank to refund

Dear Andrew, We do apologise, It was a total cock up by the courier, they couldn't deliver for some reason, probably an incompetent driver. I have raised an investigation with the courier also. I am also going to quiz staff, why you had to call in a number of times, it should just take 1 call or an email to sort out. From our side, we do the refund straight away, it usually just take 2-3 days from the banks, in the very worst case scenario, 7 days. Which is what we quote, just to be on the safe side. Once again my sincerest apologies, I would in normal circumstances offer a discount however with current Covid climate, we are already offering 20%. I do hope you give us another opportunity in the future to restore your faith in Stuarts London. 95% of the time everything runs like clockwork, although no excuse for your experience, we are limited to what we can do, once we hand over the parcel to the courier company.
