“THE COMPANY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES!!! BEWARE... I have booked a holiday to Malta all inclusive on 15.03.20 to return on 19.03.20 but due to the covid19 my holiday got cancelled by sunshine on 13.03.20 and I received an email from them to say I will get a refund of £368.56!! HOWEVER, after many countless and endless amount of messages going back and forth for almost two weeks I only got a partial refund of £270.80!!! WHICH IS NOT CORRECT!! I paid you lot £368.56 so I expect the full amount back, not a partial refund!! Now they are saying they can not refund me unless the airline refunds them £97.76 but that is NOT my problem you dimwits!! I PAID YOU £368.56 SO I EXPECT THAT MONEY BACK FROM YOU!! WHERE THE HELL IS THE REST OF MY MONEY???!! I AM STILL OWED £97.76!!! I WILL NOW HAVE TO TAKE THEM TO COURT AS THIS IS GETTING BEYOND A JOKE!! THE FACT YOU ARE CLOSING MY REQUESTS WITHOUT ACTIONING MY REMAINING REFUND SPEAKS VOLUMES OF YOU AS A COMPANY!! People please please do not book with them!!! They steal your money and do not refund you the full amount that you are rightly owed!!”

“Booked a hotel for the 21/03/20 in Gran Canaria. Sunshine cancelled the holiday on the 15th saying I would be refunded, however after loads of messages was told I wasn't ATOL protected so wouldn't get a penny back. What difference does it make? Does that mean they can cancel any holiday anytime and keep your cash?.Needless to say I won't be booking through sunshine again”

“We booked a hotel with you to stay in Tenerife on March 21 ,sent a email ,that the government were telling people not to go,,and tried to change the date due to the coronavirus, had a email to say you are looking into it, but still, nothing ,spoke to my insurance,who said there is no they have payed for a hotel which is closed, please return my money ,or I will go to the small courts to reclaim it and the television consumers programs”

“We were a party of 4 mid 60 year old holiday makers on holiday in Hurgada.After only one day of an 8 day break the Egyptian government gave 2 day warning that all flights to and from Egypt will be cancelled.i contacted sunshine holidays on 3 occasions and at each point were brilliant.the third time I spoke to Adam who had notes regarding my calls and managed to get us on a rescue flight home,Adam even arranged transport to the airport.there were those with Loveholidays that complained that they couldn’t get home as they could not cope with the call numbers and I believe they are still there or arranged alternative flights costing thousands. Great job Sunshine and particularly Adam”

“AVOID THIS SHODDY COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! They have emailed me on 13.03.20 at 3.42pm to say my holiday has been cancelled and will be refunded due to the travel ban for Malta. They have failed to action my refund so far!!!! They have cheekily closed their phone lines so customers like myself won’t be able to contact them at this time of crisis!!! I have emailed them so many times over course of 5 days and all they have said is that someone from their so called operations team will be in contact to discuss my refund and yet no one has!! One is telling me it has refunded, the other is telling me someone will be in contact to discuss!! There’s nothing to discuss except you lot to GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO CHASE AFTER MY OWN MONEY!!!!! NEVER WILL I EVER BE BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN, NOT A VERY GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!!! BOOK AT YOUR OWN PERIL BUT I WOULD AVOID, AVOID! I HAD TO RAISE A CHARGEBACK CLAIM THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD.”

“Booked for Egypt on the 23rd March but the holiday is cancelled now. This company do nothing to let you know whats happening, they don't respond to emails and the phone lines are closed !!! Never ever will i book with Sunshine again or any other online place such as the parent On The Beach, if any remain open after this.”

“We was due to fly out on the 19th all inclusive to Cyprus and are due a refund due to the coronavirus. We heard from them via Email On Friday but since then they are NOT responding to emails and phone lines are closed! Please do not booking anything with this company. I Will post an update if I hear from them. Very disappointed.”

“We booked a hotel with sunshine for March 21 in Tenerife, we cancelled it last Saturday due to the coronavirus,we are not under ABTA, because it was only the hotel,I can’t see the hotel being payed by sunshine, but think it very unfair ,we have got go to insurance to claim our money back, not sure if will have it”
