I left my hotel 3 night before because condition of room and service was terrible and hotel staff was unfriendly in this situation we left hotel and book another but this cost us 260 euro extra for holiday we would like clime back money from previous H.TOP CARTAGO NOVA because this hotel was filthy, damage electric sockets one working out of 3 , ques to restaurant ,dirty plates ,food was disgusting only 26 sunbeds on swimming pool for all hotel guests, beds uncomfortable, bed blankets with stains , damage furniture, in 3 days nobody cleaning room because under the bed in day of check in was sweets packaging 3 days after still was there. that was first holiday only with my wife since 15 years and we thought will be good but wasn't because this hotel and overall Sunshine service which is very poor. SUNSHINE STILL NOT CONTACT WITH ME TO SOLVED PROBLEM BE AWARE IF YOU DONT WANT LOOS MONEY. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

My daughter and husband originally booked the same holiday,flights,dates and hotel as a surprise 60th birthday present for me only to be traced 2 days later to contact you.My daughter rang the same day when getting home from work to be told the holiday had gone up approx 300 pounds due to a airfare increase.We have never had this problem before whilst booking though sunshine holidays.When we rebooked we booked our flights direct with Ryanair so the price quoted we New we were getting.Looking forward to my birthday bash but not happy it cost them extra.Would I recommend to family ands friends again! I would have to think about that one.

You Failed to book our flights for us- still waiting for the refund for the flights they charged us for but couldn’t book- now have a booking for accommodation only and can’t book flights till I get my refund - Great First and last booking with sunshine.co.uk

Booked with sunshine for many years and had great service. This week they took money for a booking that they couldn’t honour and I am still waiting for the refund. I cannot book an alternative until the money is refunded and although they assure me it has been refunded it has not. Disappointing.

After requesting the booking for the holiday I got a call saying the holiday was going up a great amount I was then offered 2 hotels with nothing no entertainment considerably lower standard all round so I tried to get advice as to where would be similar was very open to suggestions to help as the money had bee. Taken and that was all I had to pay for it the the refund would take 5 days by then the holiday time of work would have passed so was going to be impossible for us to go so I tried lots of place age was not trying help at all no flights was Blythe answer she was so unhelpful in the whole situation I was devastated and she made everything worse o ended up borrowing money to try to get some where suitable bit no sk no the booking was terrible

I wanted to change my hotel and add a person. Difficult making changes. Long process no option to contact via telephone. Very poor service. I like to speak to people directly when it comes to money this is atrocious.

We were lied to about why the cost of the flights had increased. Sunshine inflated the price because they wanted more profit

PLease be aware this company will take your cash then you are on your own. I booked through this company a 10 day stay in gran Canaries for my family and all i got was a holiday from hell It was not what i had booked at all. It took 4 days to get an answer from there so called in resort 24 hour emergency tel service then i got back a txt message to say phone them back What a joke. Trying to communicate with these people is impossible and when you do all you get is lies lies and more lies. I have now involved trading standards ABTA as well as my own solicitor to get this company to hold there hands up and get a resolution to all of my complaints. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY THEY ALSO HAVE A SECOND COMPANY CALLED ON THE BEACH SAME PEOPLE SAME PROBLEMS BAIL OUT FAST AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY BEFORE YOU BECOME YET ANOTHER VICTIM.

Booked a holiday with Sunshine.co.uk for them to then call to advise we needed to pay £260 additional to get the flights we booked - when I said I needed to discuss with others taking the holiday with me, then unceremoniously sent me an email following the conversation to say that they had ‘not been able to contact me’ and cancelled the holiday - disgusting service and would never book with them again

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. You are wasting your money. Let me explain this statement. I am just back from an all inclusive holiday to turkey. Booking the holiday was fine and we booked a family room with a picture of a separate bedroom for our teenage son and a separate room for us. Having stayed there on 2015 we knew the hotel and had stayed in this room before. After booking it all started to go a bit Pete tong. We decided to ensure we had seats together on the flight so went in and expected to be able to choose our seats, we usually sit up near the front, near the toilets for my wife. However they took extra money from us and we did not get to pick the seats, they chose, first time any company has done that, however moving onto the real reason for not booking with them. When we arrived we were shown to out room which was a single room and bathroom with beds that folded down. We said this was not what we booked but the hotel said to take it up with the sunshine holidays as that was what they booked, they apologised and said that there were loads of people who had the same experience as we had and we were not the first that day to complain. When we phoned sunshine ( that name sticks in my throat) holidays, they were completely unhelpful saying that is what we booked. I asked if it could be a website problem and she was adamant that it could not possibly be a problem, I did point out that i was in IT and knew some links could be erroneous and take you to the wrong details. I got a big speil about how this was not possible and that no one had changed my booking. That was until it was pointed out that their current website, which we browsed to, to check we were not going mad, showed the picture of the room we had wanted and upon clicking it, it took you to a room in the sherwood breezes - a completely different hotel. We also pointed out that our booking must have been changed as we pre booked the seats after we had made the original booking. This was met with, well it was old at the time you booked and I am ending this call. Despite being reasonable with them, they hung up and left us there. So for the sake of a few pounds more go with JET2 or TUI who we have used in the past. Otherwise book at your own peril.

I have been struggling to get in contact with sunshine as my name is wrong and you have used to book with initials and last name only I have tried to change it and u are charging me for your mistakes 130 pound the holiday is less expensive I'm not happy and this should not be used for booking my name is in full added in the email address yet u choose to use the credentials of my credit card.please rectify as appropriate. Stay Clear would not recommend. I booked a holiday through sunshine holidays for the 27th April returning on the 4th May to Santorini. 2 days before I was going to fly out I was told there had been changes to the booking. they downgraded the board basis to half from full board and changed the original hotel by telling me the hotel was not opening till later on in the season. my original booking was for a full board 4* hotel with a superior sea view room. they told me they were putting me in a different hotel which was a 4* and could only do half board and refunded a small amount for the change in board basis. I was not happy but with my holiday in just 2 days and with me not being able to find anything different I had no choice but to take the offer. upon Arrival to Santorini I found out the hotel was a basic3/4 hotel and the room they had put me in was a standard double. the hotel refused to do anything as this was the booking from the agent for sunshine even though I had documents stating what room and board basis I was in. I had to wait till following afternoon to be able to get intouch with sunshine as it was sunday. They then sent me details of other hotels available which were 3* and on a bed and breakfast basis and to top it off told me I would have to between £150-£350 more to move. The hotel I was in was not even a 4* the food was a nightmare with only 8 dishes on the menu each day out of which I was left with 2-3 to choose from as im a vegitarian. It ended costing us over £400 for eating out during our 7 days there. Since i've been back I have made a claim and complained on numerous occasions to sunshine who have done nothing about. I was told I have to wait 28 days for them to respond within its been over 60 days i've still had nothing. I've emailed them over 8 times and called so many times to be sat in queue for over 1 hour and been told they will get back to me and still had nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone they will take your money and then refuse to even address the issues
