PLease be aware this company will take your cash then you are on your own. I booked through this company a 10 day stay in gran Canaries for my family and all i got was a holiday from hell It was not what i had booked at all. It took 4 days to get an answer from there so called in resort 24 hour emergency tel service then i got back a txt message to say phone them back What a joke. Trying to communicate with these people is impossible and when you do all you get is lies lies and more lies. I have now involved trading standards ABTA as well as my own solicitor to get this company to hold there hands up and get a resolution to all of my complaints. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY THEY ALSO HAVE A SECOND COMPANY CALLED ON THE BEACH SAME PEOPLE SAME PROBLEMS BAIL OUT FAST AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY BEFORE YOU BECOME YET ANOTHER VICTIM.

Booked a holiday with Sunshine.co.uk for them to then call to advise we needed to pay £260 additional to get the flights we booked - when I said I needed to discuss with others taking the holiday with me, then unceremoniously sent me an email following the conversation to say that they had ‘not been able to contact me’ and cancelled the holiday - disgusting service and would never book with them again

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. You are wasting your money. Let me explain this statement. I am just back from an all inclusive holiday to turkey. Booking the holiday was fine and we booked a family room with a picture of a separate bedroom for our teenage son and a separate room for us. Having stayed there on 2015 we knew the hotel and had stayed in this room before. After booking it all started to go a bit Pete tong. We decided to ensure we had seats together on the flight so went in and expected to be able to choose our seats, we usually sit up near the front, near the toilets for my wife. However they took extra money from us and we did not get to pick the seats, they chose, first time any company has done that, however moving onto the real reason for not booking with them. When we arrived we were shown to out room which was a single room and bathroom with beds that folded down. We said this was not what we booked but the hotel said to take it up with the sunshine holidays as that was what they booked, they apologised and said that there were loads of people who had the same experience as we had and we were not the first that day to complain. When we phoned sunshine ( that name sticks in my throat) holidays, they were completely unhelpful saying that is what we booked. I asked if it could be a website problem and she was adamant that it could not possibly be a problem, I did point out that i was in IT and knew some links could be erroneous and take you to the wrong details. I got a big speil about how this was not possible and that no one had changed my booking. That was until it was pointed out that their current website, which we browsed to, to check we were not going mad, showed the picture of the room we had wanted and upon clicking it, it took you to a room in the sherwood breezes - a completely different hotel. We also pointed out that our booking must have been changed as we pre booked the seats after we had made the original booking. This was met with, well it was old at the time you booked and I am ending this call. Despite being reasonable with them, they hung up and left us there. So for the sake of a few pounds more go with JET2 or TUI who we have used in the past. Otherwise book at your own peril.

I have been struggling to get in contact with sunshine as my name is wrong and you have used to book with initials and last name only I have tried to change it and u are charging me for your mistakes 130 pound the holiday is less expensive I'm not happy and this should not be used for booking my name is in full added in the email address yet u choose to use the credentials of my credit card.please rectify as appropriate. Stay Clear would not recommend. I booked a holiday through sunshine holidays for the 27th April returning on the 4th May to Santorini. 2 days before I was going to fly out I was told there had been changes to the booking. they downgraded the board basis to half from full board and changed the original hotel by telling me the hotel was not opening till later on in the season. my original booking was for a full board 4* hotel with a superior sea view room. they told me they were putting me in a different hotel which was a 4* and could only do half board and refunded a small amount for the change in board basis. I was not happy but with my holiday in just 2 days and with me not being able to find anything different I had no choice but to take the offer. upon Arrival to Santorini I found out the hotel was a basic3/4 hotel and the room they had put me in was a standard double. the hotel refused to do anything as this was the booking from the agent for sunshine even though I had documents stating what room and board basis I was in. I had to wait till following afternoon to be able to get intouch with sunshine as it was sunday. They then sent me details of other hotels available which were 3* and on a bed and breakfast basis and to top it off told me I would have to between £150-£350 more to move. The hotel I was in was not even a 4* the food was a nightmare with only 8 dishes on the menu each day out of which I was left with 2-3 to choose from as im a vegitarian. It ended costing us over £400 for eating out during our 7 days there. Since i've been back I have made a claim and complained on numerous occasions to sunshine who have done nothing about. I was told I have to wait 28 days for them to respond within its been over 60 days i've still had nothing. I've emailed them over 8 times and called so many times to be sat in queue for over 1 hour and been told they will get back to me and still had nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone they will take your money and then refuse to even address the issues

Was double booked had to stop in a down graded hotel for 3 nights and they customer services won't do anything about it we had 3 rooms book originally 4 but one had to cancel due to illness but still had to pay for full holiday so I don't see how they double booked all 3/4 rooms with out it been deliberate, very quick to take your money but nothing back

Initially 5 star re booking etc however trying to make contact re an issue over seat booking has proved to be extremely frustrating and potentially costly so extremely disappointing. Contact via messaging online system is a waste of time as responses do not answer the questions raised.

I booked the holiday. Bank refused the payment due to nearing my credit limit. Then you message me saying you had taken the payment twice. Which explains why the credit limit had been reached. . I have not yet had the money refunded to date and I’m not certain you have booked my holiday. Shocking

Made a booking and after 5 days, payment taken but no confirmation of booking sent. Tried to find a contact but there isn't one. Can't access my booking as I have no reference to do so. Not sure what the next step is. It would be good if there was a way to make contact.

Terrible customer service...the company is completely uncontactable and I feel that I have been totally ripped off. I urge anyone considering these guys to read the reviews on Facebook and perhaps give them a miss

The worst experience of my life and I am still living it. I searched online and found the place and accommodation I wanted. It was on a big companies site and sunshines site...same price and I chose sunshine as I like to support smaller businesses. What a mistake. I paid by credit card and booked to go Tuesday 5 days time. you would expect it to be booked but NO i get a message saying pending...wait 48 hours. OK felt nervous but expected to hear within an hour. Nothing the whole day...next day woke up...nothing. I fb messaged them at 10am...no reply. I messaged again at 12.45 to cancel and emailed to cancel. i then rang them and stayed on hold for over 40 minutes...no answer. I rang my credit card company who said they have not taken the money and do not worry as you have evidence that you have cancelled if they take the money then we can claim and refund it. Long story short at 4.50pm they send an email saying its booked. Then Mike comes on to the face book saying too late ... he was so indignant like he enjoyed it ...i said I emailed he said well takes 48 hours to read them!! I read the Facebook reviews and loads of people have the same experience. When the card company said they have not taken the money I read the FAQs on sunshines website and it said that they reserve the right to increase the price or change the hotel but would talk to you first and would not take the money until you are happy...so they deffo took the money way after I cancelled. If you book a month in advance you may stand a chance but READ THE REVIEWS...AVOID ...AVOID ....AVOID

Knowing you can cancel your booking at no extra cost up to 4weeks before travelling was big factor in booking with sunshine holliday

Had to cancel the holiday less than 24hrs after booking it and sunshine. Co. UK wanted to charge me nearly 200 pounds what a p::::take

I tried to get in contact with an operator over the phone and was on hold for 2 hours before I gave up. This is poor customer service and I hope I don’t have any further questions or issues with my holiday or else i’ll Have a real issue of contacting someone

Me and my daughter had to book separate from my sister and her two daughters online due to there not being an option to book two separate rooms. My booking went through that night but my sister got a phone call the next day to say that she had to pay £70 extra as the flights had went up!!! Even though we booked online on two separate computers at the same time. Excuse was that Ryan Air. We then looked at Trip Advisor and the reviews are terrible for the hotel we're going to be staying in. Phoned Sunshine holiday as we wanted to change hotels and were told we couldn't. The staff at sunshine holidays have been rude and not helpful at all when either me and my sister have phoned. Would not recommend.

There was a mistake on my online booking, phoned to change immediately. After waiting an hour to speak to someone was told it would be sorted and my updated paperwork sent to me - 3 days latter still waiting!!!!
