Surprice Car Rental in Orlando, Florida gave us the worst customer service possible. We booked our vacation through Expedia. When choosing a minivan, there weren’t many options left since we booked only a month before traveling in the height of vacation season. We chose a Surprice, they were priced the same as the one other company offering a mini van at that time. When we arrived at the airport, we called the number listed for a pick up. The person on the phone said they would be at the airport to pick us up in 12 minutes. 15 minutes came and went so we called back, which is when they told us it would be at least 45 minutes because the car they had saved for us had not been returned by the previous user yet. I was annoyed at them telling us one thing and not just being honest. When I asked the guy if I should cancel, he said I could but I shouldn't because he could make me a "deal" when we got there, whatever that meant. We waited inside the airport for an hour, and called again to check in, they said someone would be there soon, and they arrived in about 10 minutes. We were driven to the rental car location, where the minivan we reserved was still not there. It was mentioned that according to the car tracker, the people using the minivan were at lunch. We went inside to at least get checked in. The guy behind the counter asked for our itinerary number through Expedia, we gave it to him and he said he needed to see the email Expedia sent, which was a hassle and he couldn't explain to us why it had to be the original, whatever, we found it. Then, he started upselling us on Toll Road packages and said we would have to pay at least $25 a day in tolls and that’s the package we should choose. I'm sorry BUT $25/ day?! We told him we had just visited Orlando in 2024 and the most we paid a day was $5. So, he set that conversation aside and asked for our car insurance information. We needed a specific declaration page, which took forever to find. A basic insurance card and breakdown of our current insurance would just not suffice. We called our insurance lady at home and she sent it over. We showed it to him and he said our insurance WAS NOT ENOUGH. We have a top tier, full coverage, no accident on our record State Farm policy. That is when my husband and I lost it. We were done being up sold on everything. We said cancel it all, we're calling an uber. These people are only in it for the money grab. A manager who was in the building must have overheard, and told the guy to give us a discounted toll road package and to allow us to use our insurance. Wow, what a surprise, we were just being duped. We gave in, in order to get my husband’s 80 year old parents and young daughter to the resort. No vehicle walk through, no apology for any of it. We were not the only people in the lobby with major issues, that was on pick up an return of the vehicle. I will never recommend using this company. Pick a reputable, well-known company that offers pick up and drop off directly at the airport. Trust me!

Would give them a zero if possible. Rented a car in Rome. Car had flat tire in Orvieto. No spare. Roadside assistance never showed up. Contacted Surprice and roadside assistance multiple times. Had to leave car with keys to catch flight home. Surprice has been trying to charge me almost $1000 for car repair and return. Still fighting the charges with my credit card company and Expedia. Shame on Expedia for including Surprice in their listings.

Did not even show up at the airport. Took an uber to the location listed on the itinerary. Sign was there. Guy was there cleaning cars. He didn’t speak much English. Called another guy that told me they were moving and I had to come to another location. I said, we had to Iber there because they didn’t pick us up. Asked if they could take us to the new location. He said no. I could take an Uber or wait an hour for him because he was busy!! Booked through Expedia! Awful!!

I was really worried when my account suddenly got restricted right after I made a withdrawal. It felt like I was stuck and couldn’t access my funds. I was panicking, but then I contacted customer support. Mrs. Mercy and her team responded quickly and handled everything professionally. Thanks to them, I was able to recover my funds and get back to trading smoothly

After trekking with the kids and luggage in Sardinia's Olbia heat for 20 minutes from the terminal to supposed office location, waiting in front of a seemingly abandoned office for another 20 minutes and then retracing our steps back to the terminal where the office was, we had to wait over an hour for the lady at the desk to deal with one customer. Then the lady refused our visa credit card, supposedly because it was not attached to a physical bank. They charged us an extra 400 Euros for insurance, despite us having already purchased an insurance independently. It was stressful, and faced with the possibility of not having a car for our holiday given it was too short notice to find an alternative, we were left with no choice. The lady made a little effort and gave us a Mini Cooper instead of an Opel Astra and offered a second driver at no cost, but this did not alleviate the stress, wasted time and additional charge which almost doubled the rental costs. All in all, we should have gone with another reputable company. The initial alluring saving was a trap to lock us in and charge us extra when we had no choice. Avoid!

After completing the booking, I was charged; however, the confirmation email came only after my pick-up time. Seeing that my confirmation email does not arrive, I started searching, and I found a contact info. After I called them, I was informed that they have absolutely no vehicles available, even though my credit card was charged. This company is operating with incredibly sketchy practices.

Told to call when arrived. No one answered for 45 minutes! When a rep finally answerd, I was told a shuttle would pick us up in 5 minutes. Still waiting 30 minutes later and no one is answering. Beware. Not worth minuscule savings. Save your time and go elesewhere.

Losing $145,000 to a scam shattered me. I felt helpless and completely broken. That’s when I found Mrs. Mercy. Her team’s professionalism stood out right away. They didn’t sugarcoat anything—they gave me a clear roadmap and followed through with constant updates. I didn’t expect much, but they came through and recovered a large amount of what I lost. Their support made all the difference.

Crooks. When I picked up the car, they obliged me to take an additional insurance which was supposed to be mandatory in the country while it was not.

Trustpilot reviews Review of StressFreeCarRental.com Your review is pending.Read more ketu shah 4 reviews GB Rated 1 out of 5 stars Stressfreerentals and Surprice - avoid using these two companies We hired a car at Milan Bergamo airport with this company. We thought that this was the company that we were dealing with. But they are a broker. The company that we were actually renting with was a company called Surprice Car Rentals. When we got to Bergamo, there was a delay getting through immigration. We asked a nice gentleman to contact this company for us, so that we could be picked up and sort out the rental. This took a long time and the guy who eventually picked us up, was in such a hurry to get back to the rental place, that he did not even wait for my daughter to sit in the car before he started driving off. This caused my daughter to fall out of his car and graze her elbow and knees on the floor. When we eventually got to the rental place, the guy turned round and said that he will not accept my MasterCard as it did not have the name of the issuing bank on it. I pointed out that I had paid the amount for the rental using that card. I also showed him the online statement of my card, but he said that he could not accept it. My card was John Lewis branded Partnership card, which is issued by Newday. When I said that I did not want to hire the car from him, miraculously he could now accept the card. I think this company is trying to scam people to cancel the original booking and retake a new one out, and this was going to be double what I originally paid. The guy showed no remorse and when I said that I was not going ahead with rental, his only concern was that he would get in trouble if we didn't take the car. On top of all this, we then took an Uber, which cost my us 180 euros to get from Bergamo airport to Milan centre. To say this was gonna be a nice family trip, with the freedom to travel in and out of Milan to Como and beyond. The additional costs that I have incurred is so much higher than anticipated. When I emailed all this to Stressfreerentals, their response was for me to send them a picture of my credit card so that they can check against the terms and conditions. They did not show any empathy and compassion towards what we went through. Nor about what happened to my daughter. I would never use this company again and I would definitely tell anyone using Surprice to think twice before they do.

I bought a package through Expedia and when picking up the car there always all these extra fees. I had to pay an extra 200 for the car for insurance that I already had and a 150 claims management fee. What is that? Very deceptive practices. I called Expedia and they were no help. For what I paid for, I should have had a nice car and it was not. Never again. Beware of this company.

Avoid this place! This was my first and definitely last time renting from them. They force you to buy their insurance, even if you already have coverage. It feels like a scam — they’ll come up with excuses or pressure tactics just to get you to pay extra. Do your research before booking and beware of their shady practices.

Avoid at all cost. Clear Bait and Switch. After being shuttled away from the airport was told cannot rent the car without the extra 30-dollar a day insurance when their rental agreement did not state that was needed for Insurance’s with liability $300,000 dollars worth or more(which I had). Also had very high daily rate to hold Sun-pass/transponder. $130 rental became at $450 rental with these added fees.

I was completely locked out of my trading account after my withdrawal request got rejected. It felt like my entire investment was at risk. I’ve heard of this happening to others too, and it’s honestly terrifying. But when I reached out for support, Mrs. Mercy and her team didn’t let me down. They got me back on track and helped recover my money
