Been a customer 4 years, no Internet today spent 4 hours on the phone, department after department, each gave a different reason. No resolution still no Internet. Terrible, terrible customer service, foreign call centre. Awful company. Avoid at all costs.

We were talktalk customers 15 years ago and had a lot of problems with them that were only resolved with intervention at the highest level basically they chad a system that was targeted for the convenience of the business and not the customer. Fifteen years later bt give us a broadband quote as an existing customer that is very high we hear the spiel from the company new owners, new CEO new business model and decide to give them second chance. With them a month three failures still no working internet. Comments from customer service include we have followed our system, couriers don’t work weekends, business is business. Same old attitude, same lack of service no change over 15 years. I guess you get what you pay bt an expensive working service, talktalk a cheap nonexistent service. Where does this kind of culture originate from?

Everything went wrong. Net decided to pack in completely. Had to call them for a solution. Auto service didn't recognise any of my details so the only way I could speak to someone was to sap my mobile data on a live chat with a bot. Asks you one question at a time with a 5 min delay between each question, none of which were regarding the problem. I was then told it requires an engineer visit which would cost me £75 even though its an issue with their kit, this was followed by another wall of text which was completely illiterate and confusing. I had enough and decided to end my service with these jokers. I was then transferred to the accounts team (now over an hour at this point) and they tried to offer me better packages, lower costs and a free engineer visit. I asked how soon an engineer could sort this and the conversation closed down. So after all that, I'm still with no Internet, still have nothing in place to sort this and I cannot speak to anybody until Monday. What a terrible company this is

I have spent half an hour on the phone to cancel my supposed upgrade and save £3 per month , only to find out that the emails cannot be replied to , and there is a £30 contract fee . Bearing in mind that I have been a very loyal customer for over 13 years , I am not very happy and have decided to cancel my contract with TalkTalk .

TalkTalk has possible the worst customer care known on this planet, make sure if your provider has a UK call centre and you can speak to somebody. You never will with Talk Talk as the name suggest they are full of talk but nothing else

Talktalk have ruined my credit rating and sent debt collectors to me. They fitted new fast fibre at my property then arrange a new price wich was cheaper but didn't cancel the old payment one I had seen they were taking 2 payments off me I cancelled the old one. Few months later they sent me threating letters saying I had not payed for 3 months. I sent bank statements through to prove that I have but still carried on saying I owe them money which is not the case. They even took a double payment one month. Still not resolved the issue because the customer service team don't know what to do but I'm an still paying more than double every month. Don't fo with talktalk they are an absolute joke of a company.

My talktalk broadband is SOOOO poor that it won’t even load its own login page so that I get into my account. Absolutely shocking. As soon as I can escape I will.

Ive used them for a year whyle virgin wasn’t in my area, honestly hands down the worst internet provider ever ever used, terrible fluctuations in speeds. Download speeds especially, there router will not supply a 4 bed property so you need to buy a booster. Also there customer service is horrendous and waiting times to speak to an advisor are long, all in all I have a 1 star. Tip! USE VIRGIN MEDIA. 10 years great service incredible speeds and insane customer service

Absolutely disgraceful service. Terrible broadband. Cancelled over a month ago and still getting bills - they're claiming my account is still active despite our conversation in which I cancelled it. Have spent over an hour with their cancellation department trying to get someone to confirm it is cancelled and I'll be receiving a refund for my latest bill. Still haven't got anywhere. AVOID at all costs.

The worst broadband company ever! Do not make the same mistake I did and join some other company, whatever pound you can save with them it will not be worth it. I had been for mora than a year with constant drops in my internet, I reported this and said that it was very likely the router starting to fail. The would just make me go round in circles doing some very time consuming diagnostics for nothing, as not until the router was fully gone and had no internet for 2 days they wouldn't agree to send me a new one. Not only this, but they said they would send and engineer to fix it to then discover this was never booked so one day without internet became 3 days. After this I said I would leave TalkTalk and move to another company, they managed to convince me to stay and said that there is this special "loyalty number" I could call for now on where they just send you a new router without barely asking anything. This I thought was incredible, as apparently, they do discriminate between their own clients. They make you go through a very long, unnecessary and impossible to stand process when you have internet issues, but then if you have threatened then to leave they give you this "fast track" number to get things done quickly. Why no just give a nice service ane costumer service in the first place is you hace been a loyal costumer from the beginning? Why have to suffer what I had to suffer of a whole year with constantly dropping line, 3 days of no internet and so much wasted time in the phone for costumer service? But the unprofessional attitude of this company doesn't end here The router was replaced and I had internet for literally 2 days before the router started failing again and then had no internet once more, my guess, this replacement router wasn't new and was a second hand or repaired one. I said that was it and was going to switch companies once and for all as this was not acceptable. I called this loyalty number to report the issue and the answer from the lady was "I can send you a new router right now if you stay with us if not I need to pass you with normal costumer service and have to go through the whole process again to get a new router", amazing. I refused to stay with them as this was now becoming something of a joke, so I had to be on the phone 1 whole hour during working hours and is the only times you can call and argue quite badly (otherwise it would have been 2h on the phone) to get a new router sent. They finally agreed to book me an engineer to replace the router for the next day, and this appointment was cancelled by them few hours before the appointment on a Saturday so I had to wait all weekend with no internet until a nee appointment on Monday. This is absolutely unbelievable. This whole things has caused my levels of stress and anxiety to go off the roof. Bad service, really cheap dodgy hardware and the most unbelievably unprofessional costumer service to. PLEASE, DO NOT GET INTO A CONTRACT WITH THIS PEOPLE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE AND MENTAL HEALTH.

Worst customer service you will find ANYWHERE. Constantly put on hold and told “I’ll just have to ask my line manager”, who never actually sorts anything. Very few English people in the call centres, mostly immigrants who I should imagine are illegal. Absolute farce of a company.

was left with no internet for two week and been waiting since 17 September 2023 for a manager to call me back but they never do and when you contact them again they make out they called you when they don't call you and all the staff are rude toward you speak to you like your something they walked on

Dorothy I had a debt, a fine for early cancellation, which I paid 2 weeks ago. All the time after payment it shows me that it has not been paid. Talktalk will not allow me to renew the package again, nor will it allow me to take broadband from another provider. I am convinced that with such a non-serious attitude and transport was treated irresponsibly, so a lot of people would die. I am not in favor of the fact that the customer is always right. Here the fact has already set in that a person no longer has the right to anything.
