This internet is less stable than my Uni Accommodations WiFi. Cuts out at the worst moments with such frequency and reliability, if I didn't know any better I would think it was on purpose. And on top of that, they tried to raise our bill on a FIXED contract. How incredibly arrogant, money hungry and absolutely disgusting do you need to be as a company to try to nearly double a FIXED CONTRACT on a service that doesn't work half the time, and the other half likes to have random ping spikes? I don't know what they think we're paying for, but personally when I pay for a service, I expect that service to, oh, I don't know...Work? My Accommodation back at Uni has the same speeds, perhaps faster, and doesn't EVER drop out apart from for maintenance, which we get a warning about, and even then it's uncommon for it to drop during maintenance. There are well over 300 people in that building who are always using the internet at all times of day, and I haven't ever had an issue with it. How is Wifi that services 300 people at once in the same building more reliable and better quality than a more personal home network? It's just unacceptable, and it's been like this for years, and other people have had the same problems as me too. Do better, you're embarrassing yourself.

I have not been a Customer with Talk-Talk for 7 months, I spoke to an Operator who set my Balance at £0.00, after stating that I owed them numerous amounts of Money for Services & Broadband I never received. I switched to Shell Broadband who are a much better Internet Service Provider. Yet I still recieve Letters & Emails stating that I have a Balance outstanding which is Bulls***, I have spoken to numerous Operators & each one told me that my Account is still active, which it shouldn't be. So, Talk-Talk needs investigating cause how many others Accounts are still active even though they are no longer customers. To anyone considering becoming a Customer with Talk-Talk, the answer is simple. DON'T. go with any other IPS. Someone from Trading Standards should get off their a** & investigate & shut that Company Down. Totally useless & a waste of Space.

Rang on behalf of my Mum. We were trying to get her a better deal as she is 90 this year and does not use it. Rang and spoke to a man who tried to help. Unfortunately he wanted to ring back at 6pm but I had to be with my Mother. This I could not do. All we had to do was for my Mother to tell him my email address. I said I would ring back and be with Mum the next day. I did do this but the women who answered told me what I had discussed on the 13th Jan did not count on the 14th. She would not listen to me and was not understanding at all. We then rang B T who set up an account for Mum a lot cheaper than the 48 pounds Mum paid that month to Talk talk. All I wanted was to complete the deal with Talk Talk but their customer service lady did not want to know. Next day Talk Talk wrote to Mum asking her to come back. To late Talk Talk you need to train the women better.

Totally incompetent, rude staff and speeds well below what we’re paying for. Despite having paid our bill on time and having proof of this, they email every day threatening to add additional admin fees for not paying. Don’t go with talktalk as they’ll rob you blind.

It is a very annoying that you cannot leave after your contract.They continue charging bills after line/broadband is disconnected. I call them to sort it out with several phone calls and emails ( saved their reply from emails as evidence in case I need to use it in the future and also names from phone calls).It is not sorted. I do not know why they think it is ok to charge someone if they are not using it following appropriate notice and step.I would have given zero star if I could choose.I have never written bad review for anyone or any service. Talktalk has been a first one I wrote in 33 years of my life.Just like to share my experience for future customer not to face similar situation like me.They could have been helpful for long term customer when they leave rather than giving statement like "sorry to hear it and visit community talktalk or call this number again".

My contract come to end Dec 31st 2022.i rung up to make sure they didn't continue.they have gone against my will.carrying on with service I have unplugged.i have switch to other company for my bosrdband .I paid dec payment.they have continued .I don't want it or need it and too dear.no pre contract information .so consumers uk said got a over a year to cancel..08082231133.they can't continue not carry out what u ask.

Dishonest .please don't use .they renew when told not too.someone needs to get involved with this company.stop them trading.even told them after last payment in Dec. I will cancel direct debit..as don't want it .they say pay money.i said see u in court .I rung went on chat. Twitter.trust pilot.they r chargeing after cancelling.happy to fight it in court.

Despicable service. My Internet service stopped 14 days ago but Talktalk refuse to do anything to help. They tell lies and make promises that they break. I now have to move to another provider due to their ineptitude. Shocking.

The internet service with talk talk has always been average and I out lasted my contract though I was ok with allowing the internet service to continue, which was more down to my laziness. But enough was enough of slow internet and thats their Fibre 65 which is supposed to be great, sadly not. I now have tried on three attempts to cancel my use of their service and its like they don't give you an easy option to cancel. They try to push it on my new provider to cancel with Talk Talk which seemed weird to do so but Three who I have moved to saidd it was 100% on TalkTalk to cancel it. After my third attempt of telling them to cancel and well within my billing period (12 days) before the next months usage would be used they have told me I am to act like I'm using the next months internet and i then pay for it and then also send them the equipment back in that time. Why should i pay for another month that I won't even use as I made it clear I am already using Three's service. I was wondering what would happen if i just cancel the direct debit after I pay this this months internet which I also asked the advisor? I was told not to do that, and see out the extra month I won't even be using. I then also asked could I get the transcript of this phone call or more info on all that we have spoken about as well as the instructions in this cancellation process. I did not get this I instead get an email 'We'd love for you to stay" - We'd love you to stay, and because we know that value matters to you, we'd like to help you find a new plan that works for you. It could save you the hassle of leaving. I called them three times and its like talking to a wall they are so difficult!

Been with talktalk for years so was happy with the offer of now tv cinema offer of £5 a month. For grandchildren over xmas. However! 10 days and still no talktalk, chatted to customer services 3 times to sort out. Gone past the will be sorted in 5 to 7 days and the latest response? It will be sorted when its sorted and we'll let you know when that is. Will be leaving when contract up as customer service is pathetic.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. They are absolutely incompetent. You have to repeat yourself 3 or 4 times with exactly the same information. The phone lines are diabolical, you can’t hear over the noise of other calls. After getting everything sorted I’m now being hassled for the cancellation charge. I ave spent probably 5 hours on the phone to them and they just don’t listen. Would never refer this company to my worst enemy.

One of worst company I have ever to deal with waiting times over one hour moved to different departments another hour moved to another department another hour gone. Honestly I have called this company day in day out 2 months and have had major problems i cancelled my contract went with another provider I would not recommend talk talk I'm sorry about that but i really had bad experience with them so many complaint I put in no calls from seniors as promised.

An absolute nightmare, I wanted to cancel my account ( a long time out of contract) was hardly at home … first 2 cancellation phone calls cut off in the final minute, never a call back. Finally after 3 months, I stopped my DDebit haha suddenly got a ‘manager’ get me another operative to cancel GOT CUT OFF SECONDS from confirmation! Again no call back. Sent a bill ..ignored it, got a phone demand, paid it, JUST TO GET RID though no service, and allegedly paid one month in advance at original contact. Have had a £33.20 bill for the last 8 months, 2 investigations by Moorcroft debt collection ( both times the dismissed their claims) Still going through it nearly one year later, now going to a formal complaint group. Never had the speeds promised, never had Wi-Fi in my 3rd bedroom, in a one level flat!!!! Never recommended by me EVER!

TalkTalk, a company with the word 'Talk' in its name TWICE but it's impossible to actually talk to anybody because they work on skeleton staff. I have 4 months left of my contract, without a doubt I will not be renewing.

Made an appointment with an engineer for 4pm - 6pm turned up 10.30 am said in area now . I was on my way out to hospital so said come back at the appointed time. He phoned said he had been done everything outside so he was finished. He was a LIAR He did nothing my phone line is connected to emergency call out because I fell and was unconscious for 5 days , lost 5 pints of blood in hospital for 7 weeks...... I told TalkTalk this . They don't care , rude left me with no emergency connection for 10 days, so NO PHONE.... NO TV ..... NO BROADBAND All the call centres are in the Philipines they are rude, can't speak English or understand English .......I ASKED TO KEEP MY PHONE NO..... they lost it I am 73 I have to contact all hospitals, doctors etc. THEY DONT CARE.... they made me wait another 10 days for a second appointment. Saying I should wait like everybody else......have taken £14 more from my bank than was agreed..... but are telling me they can't find my account....... if you want a call centre abroad with idiots making you spell everything up to nine times cos they do not understand anything . I was raised in Bucks so I don't have a regional accent.....dreadful dreadful worst ever experience with any company I have had

UPDATE AS OF 06/12/2022 - I HAVE OFFICIALLY TRANSFERRED TO SKY BROADBAND AND SINCE SUMMER TALK TALK HAS NOT STOPPED HARASSING ME TO PAY THEM FOR A SERVICE WHICH I AM NO LONGER USING. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, THEY HAVE NOW TRANSFERRED ME TO A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY TO GET THEIR WELL UNDERSERVED MONEY, I KEEP GETTING EMAILS, LETTERS THROUGH THE POST FROM THEIR DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY, AND I AM NOT USING THEM, I COULD NOT LAST A WHOLE MONTH WITH THEM AND I HAD TO LEAVE RIGHT AWAY AND ENDED UP WITH A EARLY CANCELLATION FEE, BUT THEY NEVER OWNED UP TO THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY PROVIDED AND NOW THEY WONT STOP CHASING ME FOR THEIR MONEY. TALK TALK LISTEN UP, YOU WILL NOT SEE A SINGLE PENNY OUT OF THE £292 YOU ARE DEMANDING! GET USED TO IT! TO ALL READING MY REVIEWS, THE PREVIOUS ONE STAR REVIEW WAS August 12, 2022, WE ARE NOW DECEMBER THEY ARE STILL HARASSING ME! I paid them to reinstate my connection and a few days later they switched my connection off and it was when I lost needed my internet connection so I had to call their 0345 number from my friend’s phone which has incurred a huge bill on their phone because we spent over 30 mins through their 3 phone. I asked the lady from TalkTalk customer service to call me back because I had already waited a long time to be connected and I asked them if they could call me back because I feared of the kind of bill I will incur on my friend’s phone. The lady from the TalkTalk customer service kept pretending she didn’t hear us which resulted in me having to repeat the same question over and over again loud and clear and she still did not care to even consider listening to my suggestion. I think it has been a month since I am with TalkTalk and it was the WORST decision I have ever made leaving my previous provider to which I am currently in the process of crawling back to. I have 2 of TalkTalk’s routers at home and they will never see them again. To top it all off they sold us a pipe dream of full fibre broadband which we never got and it was all empty promises. On top of ALL this I couldn’t take it anymore so I decided to leave them and since my contract with TalkTalk had already started, they are asking me to pay them £228.50 for leaving them even though I was on the phone to them regarding their connection every single day because it was that bad. They are gutless, horrible, and everything you would not want in a customer service team or in a company altogether. Please listen guys don’t waste your time, you will have extreme headaches when you try to leave them. TalkTalk are the biggest SCAMMERS in the broadband industry. High voltage, keep away!

This is the most useless company ever used, service undelivered, staff very incompetent, the company has been taking my money through direct debit without delivering services. Not able to advise on vital issues concerning services during contract, stayed too long on the phone as staffs lack technical knowledge. Poor communication skills and sham!!! It has been a hell since several months as my equipment not working etc
