Today I returned an item and I chose the option to have a store credit issued which should have occurred immediately after the return was scanned at the UPS store, similar to how Amazon operates. But, no Temu says one thing and does something different. They make you wait until the return is processed even though the website specifically said that the credit would be issued immediately after the return was scanned.

“The fraudster seller is based in Leicester, UK has tried to pass this off as a genuine 1TB SSD. They kept their surname hidden. I am contacting Action Fraud which I understand is part of the UK Police Service.
Do not buy this item. The actual capacity of the drive is a very much less than that cited and the hardware/software is unlikely to be robust enough for even occasional useage. The actual transfer rates are a tiny fraction (read/write) than that advertised. So you get two major lies about this product from the one UK based seller! In picture declared drive size is much greater than validated drive size! When I copied files over at least some of them ended up zero in size! So you cannot in any way trust this drive! The seller is a cheat and a fraudster. I bought five of these drives and this is just one review!
I have reported this to Action Fraud Upon opening up one of the drive it turns out that there is only a USB 2, 4 contact memory stick mounted inside the device. This would mean that the speed of the device would never exceed that of USB 2 communications despite what was fraudulently stated on TEMU and despite having a USB C interface.
