I gotta say, my girlfriend and I had been researching Tensile tents for almost 3 years and we finally pulled the trigger last month — what a tent!! The quality this company produces is unparalleled, you’ll be happy you chose Tensile!

From the time they first came on the scene, I have been a big fan of Tentsile. I run a glampground in Western NY and the tree tents have been well received by our local and international guests. After the success of our first season, I purchased 2 more tents and 3 more hammocks at the 24 hour winter sale Tensile does each year. Great products at great price. When they shipped me an extra trampoline rather than double bubble, they quickly corrected the shipping mistake and even told me to keep the mistaken item. Now my tree stacks are intense with 4 levels! My only suggestion for your QC team would be to beef up the elastic bands that connect the rain tarps to the clip that attach to the handles on the ratchet straps. After a few days in windy conditions, the elastic was shot. And here is a tip for folks using the rain tarps. I run a clothes line in a big triangle between the 3 trees or between the 3 ratchet straps. I attached the rain fly to the clothes line rather than down to the ground. This not only lets more air into the tent, but improves the view and still prevents rain from getting into the sleeping areas. Thanks again for your great product. Pictures attached.

And Western NY is the perfect place for our products - great space, great air, great trees! Thanks for the feedback. Keep up the wonderful adventures! Tentsile Team! :)

I ordered the Gen 2 Safari Stingray tent. It arrived when expected in good condition. I have setup the tent inside and I am impressed by the quality of the bug net. It is much thicker and higher quality than the non Safari Stingray. The bag and tent is also made of high quality material. The only small downside was a few extra loose threads here and there. Overall amazing quality and I cannot wait to set this up on a camping trip! Stay tuned for a full length camping review video on the DMF Travels YouTube page.

Such a cool hammock! My family (2 adults and 2 kids under 10 & sometimes the dog (carefully)) love hanging out on this hammock. We hang it up in our backyard and it's comfortable, fun and a unique little hang out spot.

Exactly as described! Took my tree hammock camping with me the weekend after it arrived. Easy to set up, comfortable with 1 or 2 people, plus my dog! You can also release the tension if you prefer the cradle of other hammocks. It rained the first night and I left the tree hammock up overnight. It weather the storm without a scratch. Material is durable, and it was super easy to clean to dirt/debris leftover from the storm the next morning. Wiped right off! I can’t wait to get a mosquito net for it so I can test it out overnight :)

Hi Alyssa! Thanks for your feedback! And thanks for the media postings - we love following the Tentsile Tribe through their new adventures! - and I enjoyed the sound track too! :)

Absolutely LOVE my tree tent!! I already had a 2-person hammock, but bugs (& rain storms) are insane in Florida, especially in the summer months. The tree tent is so legit, it comes with both a bug screen and rain fly. I knew I needed to try this new twist on hammocks/tents. The only downside to my tree tent is the size! I will be upgrading to a 2+ person tree tent as soon as I can. Otherwise, I’ll continue to let my camping mates make other sleeping arrangements while I rest peacefully while hanging in a tree :) Get a tree tent today!! It’s worth it!!!

I have had my Stingray for a little over a month now and have used it every weekend. All my nephews do is play video games I took them camping one time in the Stingray and now they are practically begging to go camping every weekend!! This tent is the best purchase I have made for camping in years. You guys keep up the good work and innovative ideas you have a lifetime customer in me!!!

If you are like me, you find yourself searching for things on the internet that are different and cool and a bit out-of-the-box thinking. So there I am, looking through some camping rigs on an image search, and I see a picture of this thing suspended in a Redwood forest that seems insane. I see the logo on the tent and look up the company...I was immediately impressed. Tentsile has done something that I have only dreamed in my head, but made it a functional reality that is both engineering excellence but just downright cool! Their vision of their products is spot on, their dedication to their products is inspiring, and the quality of what they make leaves me questioning all other tents and hammocks I have purchased in the past. I can't speak higher of this company and their products, and I look forward to continuing to expand my collection of Tentsile gear and see where they take me in the world.

This is my first "hammock" tent. We love it, only issue is having trees in the correct location, which resulted in having to get an extension (another strap with a spare ratchet). Only used it in our backyard, but love the tent.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, all trees need to be less than 90 degrees angled from one another. Extender straps are real useful too. Enjoy your Tentsile experience! :)

Early Spring five years ago I saw my first picture of a Tensile tent. Everyone remembers seeing their introduction to tree tents. I’m a side-sleeping 225lbs man that lives in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. I camped, uncomfortably, in tents and hammocks, on pads and cots, in rain and snow for years. When I saw a tree tent, I tingled. So, I saved. My dream arrived in June. The first set up requires some trial and error. Don’t take it out at dusk for your primary shelter on the first set up. However, subsequent attempts were met with a clear action plan and understanding of the limitations. Finding the “perfect” set of trees hasn’t happened yet, so don’t think you have to. Setup takes some learning, but if you take it out for day trips and set it up under no stress, you’re going to master it. Takes me about 12-17min, including rain fly and scouting. If there are trees, you’ll probably be fine. It’s heavy. I canoe camp so that matters very, very little to me. Especially weighing against the next bit: I sleep. Good lord, I sleep. I set it up for day use, I enjoy the views, I enjoy the dry area underneath the tent, but none of that compares to the fact that I get to sleep at night. I’ll never go back. There are a ton of little details that tensile has put into this tent. It’s obvious that they’re growing as a company and not just financially, but they’re growing their products. They release videos of tips and tricks to making your set up easier, and every one of them is useful. I highly suggest, especially to those who don’t sleep well on the ground, that you give this tent a try. I’m using a Stingray, and although it’s not “cheap”, after all the money I could have saved on products to try and give me a comfortable night, it’s actually very reasonable. I’m very excited to get into the woods again. The only down-side is that other campers will certainly have questions for you. But when you love this tent like I do, you’ll literally invite them in like I do too.

Thanks for the feedback, Michael! And the photos look great! So glad you like our product - and yes, sleeping in it is a new, next level experience! We find the same things - it is a real conversation starter, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, you're better off opening a beer and offering a tour! hahah! Thank you. Tentsile Team! :)

With the global pandemic at hand, I knew I was not going to be sending my family to camps and other summer outings. A friend had mentioned Tentsile tents and at first glance I knew I had to have it for our yard this year. I got the Safari Vista and the product is beyond my expectations. The best materials, a solid design, easy to put together, and incredibly relaxing to hang out in. Not only has it been up for over a month now, but the entire family sleeps in it as often as we can. I had a question for customer support and they not only responded immediately, but they knew exactly what I needed for my installation and rushed the extra parts out to me. I do not ever do customer testimonials, but between the product itself and the company that stands by it, it would be a disservice.

This tent is AWESOME! It takes a few tries to learn the set up (so definitely do that before it gets dark!), but once you get the hang of it it’s no more difficult to set up than any other tent. Well worth the investment!! I have slept in hammocks before, and this tent (when leveled and tensioned properly) is just as comfortable! You are definitely still close to the other person, as in any 2 person tent, but the strap down the middle makes sure you aren’t sleeping on top of your neighbor! I have it hung in my backyard, and my sister and I love it as our quarantine escape. I love this tent and what the company does for the environment. Thank you for bringing me joy and a high quality product during such crazy times!

Thanks, Rebecca! Yes, sounds like you got the hang of it pretty quickly (excuse the pun!). It certainly can take a few tries, but once you get it, it is quick and easy! And the under straps are key to the comfort - nice work! Keep enjoying the Tentsile experience. Play, Camp, Explore! :)

I am very satisfied. Tentsile is good service even across borders (I am from Denmark) and high quality. I have already had a lot of fun with my Stingray and Ttrillum hammock but after having bought the insect mesh and ground conversion kit it became even better. Now I can use my stingray even without having three trees!

This tent is amazing. Easy to set up - took us about 15min (1-2 people). It's well made and really fun. Wishing we had bought a ladder to go with it - will have to order one!

My family and I love our Safari Trillium hammock. In the beginning, we had some trouble setting it up because one side was slack, but customer service was outstanding and helped us figure out the problem. The kids love it and I love lounging in it as well. Great product!

Use the tent nightly. The tent is out in the elements 365 days a year. The configuration and workmanship is phenomenal. The tent has made it possible for us to completely live outdoors and has changed our lives
