The ordering process was simple and Tent World support is readily available... but the delivery service they use is rubbish! If you're not at home when they deliver and there is no safe place to leave it (which is the case for most people living in apartments), they won't drop it off at Australia Post. Whilst they have options for redelivery, they will only deliver during business hours and cannot guarantee a day or time (even if they promise it over the phone). I arranged redelivery to my home address with 5days notice so I could make arrangements to be home, and they didn't manage to get it to me as planned. And if you ask for it to be redirected to a PopShop collection point or an alternative address, they make the buyer contact tent world and arrange a new consignment note for delivery. Organising redelivery is not as simple as they make it out to be. Have fun chatting to the overseas call centre of you delivery doesn't go to plan. I won't be using the online store again because their delivery service is unreliable.

Scratched bed upon delivery. Upon opening packaging we noticed the bed frame was scratched. Not sure if this was done during shipping or if we were chosen to be gifted a dud from the store. Bed works ok and is comfortable.

Th service was fine, however there seems to be a problem with connecting the solar to the powertop. First trip out, battery latest for 1.5 days and then nothing. Correct Anderson plugs not supplied to make things work. Really disappointed with the advice on this part.

your returns policy, I was told that I had to pack the product to return which would have meant that I had to go to the shops to buy and then pack the item and go to a post office to return and for me easier just to go to a store and there was a fault with the product and don't see why I should have to go through this crap.

Gripe is probably more with the deliverer than the supplier. Delivery was pretty slow and product arrived in a damaged state (but fairly easily repaired to a usable state).

Twice now I've ordered food for a hiking trip to be informed later they are out of stock for some items. So I've had to buy goods at a different retail store last minute.

While I do not have an issue with the service at Tentworld. The delivery element needs to be revisited. the item I ordered has still not been delivered a week and half after ordering. Auspost appear to have no interest in, locating where my parcel is and delivering it.

The "Black Friday" sale price was the their normal every day sale price.. yes discounted from RRP but still the same price they advertise on any give day at their store. Found this out when I ordered the wrong part online in the black friday sale and had to go to the store to replace it for the correct item 2 weeks later. Staff service are always more than healpful when your in store!!

by sending my order when promised. I ordered and paid for, a large tent, 2 aluminium stretcher beds and a blackwolf pillow. After taking my money the lass said there was a wait of upto 3 days for the tent did I want to have the other (which you had) delivered and the tent later or all together. To make things easier for you I said all together. The tent arrived but nothing else. On ringing the lad said the stretchers will be a few days up to a week before they are delivered as they had to order more in. I go away very shortly and may have to borrow a friends.

OOPS! I've taken a quick look at your order here and can see that we did in fact mark your order not to be split - as per your request. Despite this, for reasons unknown right now - it was split anyway. We're talking to the team member involved to make sure that they do follow any order instructions given. Even worse, when it was split - for some reason your Pillow & Stretchers have been sitting in a limbo status ever since. We're looking into how this system error has happened, and how we can stop it in the future. Very sorry that you've suffered because of these errors. Our Customer Service team will be contacting you shortly to try help with resolving this issue for you. Please be assured, that 99% of the time we do get it all right. Hi Bernard, sorry for the delays with your order. I've taken a look at the item you've bought, and can see that our current targeting stock holdings is not sufficient for how popular this item is. We're also in discussions as to how this fell through the cracks and required you to write this review for us to identify the problem. After waiting over 2 weeks for a delivery we were told, after I chased the order, that they couldn?t supply our tent. My only option was to pay an extra $160 to upgrade. This was not what annoyed me the most, I asked them to hold stock for 2 days while I transferred some money and they would not put a hold on my order, even though they were very happy to hold into my $640 for 2 weeks with NO COMMUNICATION. If $640 is not enough to put a hold on a product, I am absolutely baffled. I do not feel this is very good customer service at all, I will not be doing any further business with them.

Hi, thank you for this feedback. Sorry that we ran out of the original tent you bought it was discontinued - to be replaced by the one you bought - the Coleman Instant Up Northstar 10 Lighted Darkroom. In regards to the upgrade, absolutely we should have been able to hold your tent whilst we waited for your money transfer. This is something that we already do offer - sorry you were not offered this. I will remind the team that this is something that we can definitely offer. In regards to your complaint about the lack of communications regarding the status of your original tent purchase, I am very sorry about this and I am investigating what went wrong here. We normally do much better on this front. Thanks again for your feedback, sorry to hear you do not intend on doing business with us further.
