“Unable to update my orders. Customer service people are polite but unable to help with booking future orders or amending current ones.
I am unable to contact the 'Chief Executive's' office due to their out of date website. One supposes that complaints are over running his office whilst he is unavailable due to other more pressing business than we customers.
Maybe he needs some customer service training to get back to grass roots!”
“Yet again after using Tesco delivery there were items not available. Not items that were added at the last minute..items that had been on there for a few days. This should be accounted for when Tesco place their orders (which they receive daily) In all honesty I don't think I will use them again. Not even lowest prices.”
“currently with Tescos for car insurance and renewal was £366 however going through comparison website the renewal came up as £100 cheaper- telephoned Tescos and they advised cannot reduce current renewal and that I would have to end current insurance and apply through comparison site!!”
“No slots over Xmas for 2 weeks before during and now 10th of January fully booked for another 2 weeks. I went without anything at Xmas with no family or friends and uses a mobility scooter i couldn't buy much at all. Rang tesco about it and they claimed to have had slots for vulnerable but they all went. She tried to argue with me over it as I pointed out slots were made available over 2020 plandemic by government and I had no problems at all. That being said its also selfish people in society who do drive and have family and friends to help them and are fully capable of walking around the shop themselves. Lazy selfish society of people but tesco could do more. Im leaving now and going with waitrose. Tesco customer care is missing something in that title. Care. The service has gone down hill with all supermarkets tbh and writing about your experience on trustpilot or here gets removed. Not to be trusted at all. Shame on you tesco.”
“Tesco delivery driver refused to help with unloading the items despite I have been mobilising with 2 elbow crutches and unable to carry heavy tesco baskets.
Despite I placed clear instructions on the delivery order that I need help unloading items, the delivery driver did not have a mask on and said he will not help me as the Tesco Covid protocol does not allow it. I should have had been informed prior to my Tesco delivery - once they received my instructions. I won’t recommend Tesco services to any disabled person.”
“DIDN’T DELIVER CHRISTMAS SLOT AS ‘COULDN’T FIND THE HOUSE’, BUT TOOK THE MONEY AND DIDN’T PROCESS THE REFUND
I booked Christmas delivery slot back in October. On the day of delivery, no delivery arrived. I have tried calling Tesco. After finally going through and spending half an hour on the phone, I got cut off. It was almost 10pm. Nobody rang me back. There were no message updates, no email, no communication on the app. I rang back the morning after. I was told that the driver COULD NOT FIND MY ADDRESS and ‘tried to call me’ but didn’t have my phone number. Even though Tesco drivers rang me a number of times before and I had deliveries to the same address before.
Tesco took my money, didn’t process the refund and told me that I now need to go and do my shopping with the money I didn’t have as they charged me. There was no effort at all to rectify the situation.
Then they rang back and told me that actually they would try to redeliver. So after waiting half an hour on the phone it was suddenly possible.
They then rang back and said that actually it was not possible. The whole customer service is appalling. Absolutely poor. There is no attempt to try to help at all, no taking responsibility for their mistakes.
If you place your order with them, especially Christmas one, be prepared to be blamed for having a house difficult to find despite living on the main road, then nobody calling you to let you know that they cannot find your address and still nobody contacting you despite the fact that you have no order and they took money from your account. Merry Christmas.”
“I did click and collect for the first time and will say the experience left a lot to be desired. The shoppers had chosen food that would be out of date within a couple of days. This was my main concern but there were others too. Will not do this again with Tesco.”
“Tried to leave review on trustpilot but they keep removing them. Tesco sort your lives out. Service terrible food quality terrible if and when you have stock availability. Meals taste disgusting yet you pay a fortune for tasteless rubbish. And finally all slots gone for 5 weeks over Xmas leaving vulnerable people like myself who doesn't drive no choice but to go shopping on my mobility scooter. Well done Tesco. Why trustpilot keeps removing anything I write is beyond me. They are covering up bad reviews because they don't like the truth. I will not be using trustpilot again.”
“I’ve ordered on line 3times now, and eveytime I’ve ordered things quite a few things never arrived. They don’t let you know it’s just not arrived, surely that’s what stock taking and computerised stock levels are about? Why can’t online shopping just not update? If it’s on there you order it, you don’t keep checking everything’s in my basket. I was COVID positive so self isolating, so I was left without meat for dinners + other things not arrived (meat free oxo, Swiss cheese no suet, my friend got some same day!). That’s the last time I order on line I’m off to Sainsbury’s. Mine was click n collect so can’t rate in the boxes below!!!”
“Face masks are now mandatory. Not in Tesco Brooklands ! Several young person's walk past Security guards without facecovering and carry on shopping without challenge. Risky store !!!”
“Tesco sent me two slow cooked lamb leg joints as the lamb shanks were unavailable. Don't bother buying these. There was a tiny piece of lamb and a couple of carrots in the sauce. The lamb is so small the cooking times given on the box are way too much and my tiny little lamb was cooked solid. Dreadful new product.”
