On 16th March I managed to get a click and collect slot for 3rd April. Although this was nearly 3 weeks later I picked my items ready. Went on tonight to add a couple more items to find Tesco had deleted my slot and no more available at all. Appalling service.

The site is complete rubbish. Joined the site a while ago ,can't get any slots, want to cancel my delivery service and get a refund (within 14 days) but no option to do this. So much for being in the vulnerable group.

What are Tesco’s doing for the elderly and vulnerable regarding home delivery? NOTHING! Unlike Sainsbuy’s who are actually trying to help these people. Tesco has or is doing absolutely nothing to aid this people, who, I\I might add have been in self isolation since 13th March. This is shameful and shocking in many ways. Come on Tesco, step up, show HOW good you are, though you will be way behind in helping the community. These customers are at this present time the countries main concern. Look at Sainsbury’s plan, please, use, learn and best get your skates on. I shake my head in utter disgust on the way that Tesco has handled this unfortunate thing. Hopefully when this has calmed down, PEOPLE will remember who helped who! Even the local corner shops are doing a better job than you! As the saying goes ‘Every little helps’ obviously not for Tesco!

Tesco lets down NHS doctor and family Total shambles! We feel completely let down by Tesco’s (or more appropriately “Tescan’t”) and it’s crass and entirely useless customer no-service. Our online shop for our household with 3 small children, NHS consultant doctor plus a wheelchair bound grandmother and a dementing grandfather and their carer, all self-isolating, which was scheduled for delivery tonight was cancelled with no advance notice. We only found out because we called to enquire why the order was showing on our account as “delivered” when it had not been received 45 mins after the end of the 4 hour delivery window. We were relying on that delivery! We have not been able to shop in person. So now we will have to go out in person - well done Tesco. No apology given just a completely lame “We understand it is frustrating but the fulfilment centre has technical difficulties”. Can they offer us another slot..,No! Can they arrange for us to collect the order...No! Can they redirect the order to another store or fulfilment centre...No! Can we speak to a manager or supervisor...No, they can only offer a 1 hour call back but because that takes us past 11pm the call back will not be until the morning. Totally useless. How is it possible to be so bad at their jobs that they design a system with no contingencies for when things go wrong. That alone should see the entire management team fired for incompetence. So well done Tesco’s. As if the stress on medics wasn’t enough you have added an unbelievable amount of extra stress worrying about how we are now going to feed all these people with no food. Now I understand why everyone is stockpiling. No wonder so many ignored all the pleas to be socially responsible when shopping. I bet the Tesco management team like Dave Lewis and John Allen all have nice full fridges. I bet if a customer fulfilment centre has technical issues with their online shopping, it would magically still get delivered or a work round would be found. I bet what wouldn’t happen is that they are left with no food to feed their children and elders, dangling on the end of the phone to some customer service representative who is unable to offer any help at all.

I had a large online grocery delivery today due between 5-9pm. I’m self isolating and vulnerable and I’ve been told they tried to deliver at 7pm. I was in my garden, have security cameras and can confirm they did NOT try to deliver. I was furious to hear ‘ don’t worry we will give you a refund’ I don’t want a refund I want my shop!! I have no food, I have to wait 5 days to get my £150 back!! Disgraceful

Whilst appreciating exceptional circumstances this latest delivery fell well short of the standards I have come to expect. I am a housebound 76 year old and reluctantly dependent on the service. On unpacking found that the most important item - toilet rolls were not delivered and no substitute offered. Phoned "helpline" to complain and was faced with a take it or leave it attitude. When querying if not available why were they offered on a rationed basis. Told they thought they would have some. That being the case then why are so many items marked as unavailable when preparing an order. Very much an attitude of you'll have what we send you and if you miss out then tough luck. Must seriously consider my choice of supermarket for the future

I have a online order waiting to be paid for but cannot get a delivery date. Stayed up till 10.45 last night trying to see if there was a cancellation or the next day would appear but no, got up at 5.45 this morning checked right away there was another day but fully booked how can we pensioners and unable to get out. I no times are bad but as people have said on here, I thing we are being walked past with there eyes shut. Can't phone them just hangs up.

Staff telling you one thing, then managers saying we don't do training to staff Tesco caused me great stress today managers don't have a clue how to care for the public 1 star.

Tried to make a grocery order. I already have an account. I am housebound now due to having emphysema. I spend so long trawling through the little that was available (I know...its the same story everywhere, and I'm not complaining about this) I then tried to book a slot...any slot but every day up to the 11th april (as far as it went!) Said nothing available. I wasnt sure if it was a glitch in the system since that's nearly 3 weeks away, so I tried phoning the phone number that I was directed to 'to talk to someone regarding a delivery slot' and twice just got cut off! I dont mind waiting a couple of weeks for delivery given the current situation but basically housebound people cant get home deliveries at this time.

I understand that things are tough on the current situation but on Thursday 19th March, you cancelled my chair bound 91 year old mother's online order 2 hours before it was due. The driver surprisingly turned up & when I told him I was shocked to see him because we'd had a txt cancelling the order, he said he couldn't let us have the order & drove off! I called your customer services & told it would then be delivered later that day. It never came! I called again later that evening to be told I would get a call to arrange delivery on Friday 20th March. I heard nothing! Great how you're publicising the fact that you are looking after the old & vulnerable by letting them visit your shop for a hour each morning but what about elderly who can't get to your shop? I explained to the people I spoke to on customer services that Mum is 91! Maybe you can look into this!

As a long standing customer I shop weekly on click and collect. So with the current climate in mind I booked my slot a week ago with a small online order with the intention of amending the order before 12 noon on the day of collection, as I always do, however without previous notification Tesco have decided today to change this policy and I am now left with less than a third of my order awaiting collection. Customer service were also useless that was once I finally got though after being continously cut off. I can only image what awaits when I do actually collect later today!

Incredibly rude member of staff in Tesco's in borehamwood manning the self service tills on Sunday, he accused me of stealing a 45p bottle of water and took it upon himself to start rifling through my bags even though the receipt was in the bag, when the receipt did eventually come out the machine no apology or anything

Online order - After waiting 7 days for my groceries (earliest slot I could get) Less than a quarter of my order delivered all staple grocery items out of stock, potatoes, carrots, peas, beans, beef and fresh chicken peas, Milk substitution to oat milk which I never buy, Cabbage came so small and old leaves turning black (not what I would pick up if I was able to go out to shop) And nearly every item was a substitution so disappointed, my order was £140 but delivered was £50 and this included dog biscuits £12 and Mother’s Day chocolates £8 so the remaining £30 was groceries which is supposed to last 3 weeks. the next earliest delivery spot being three weeks away. So much for supporting the elderly in shielded isolation, will look elsewhere for support at these uncertain times.

In Tesco Cafe in Dunfermline, I ordered a roll with bacon and sausage. I took it back because I thought they had missed out most of my sausage, but surprisingly, I was told the sausage on the roll which was literally the size of my little finger was the correct amount of sausage. The roll cost £3.75 and the sausage alone cost £1.00. I got a refund and won’t be getting anything else at the cafe from now on. POOR SHOW TESCO.

A man reportedly conning people for money saying he has a child in car and needs petrol to get home . He done my mother in law for £5 today ! Now Tesco know about this man and yet , say there is nothing they can do , even thou there was a murder in car park , they still don’t have security and the means to stop prowlers ! Tesco’s is a shamble for the way they spoke to my mother in law and the lack of concern they showed regarding this matter

Horrible experience from Tesco Online shopping. Yesterday my boyfriend decided to order our grocery online from Tesco (after me insisting to shop in Asda, God knows for which reasons, we’ll find out soon). So I agreed on #Tesco. We spent our two precious hours of a day-off going through all the products available, taking into consideration our dietary restrictions. The next morning we were supposed to get our shopping but instead we received a call from the driver saying that he couldn’t find the way to get to our flat’s door since of one of the four different accesses is partially closed due to works going on since two weeks. So my boyfriend decided that he would kindly help the man by suggesting him the other possible ways how to get to the place but, instead, the driver decided to not to listen to him, complained and drove away keeping the shopping and left the place! Isn’t that funny? Hahahaha (ironically one week ago we did an order which was delivered without any problem). After calling the customer care centre and agreeing on postponing the delivery we received a message one hour later where they said they wont do the delivery at all!!!!! So my boyfriend, being very kind in nature, wrote a message to the customer service to proof the that the delivery was possible by recording them a video on “how to get here”! I was literally laughing on the laziness of the driver and on how unprofessional people can work for Tesco, one of the leading grocery store in the UK. All they have created was delays and frustrations. It was very disappointment to count on their customer service which didn’t do anything to resolve the matter and rather kept using this excuse: “I am really sorry BUT as this is something outwith our control, WE WON’T BE LOOKING TO GIVE ANY FORM OF GESTURE.” Their best apology was to delete our membership, including all the emails and the natural refund for the useless payment made, with only one difference, half of our list was missing on their refund list and that was also with different products which we didn’t even order! Amazing customer service (sarcasm of course).
