I’ve just read a very similar review to mine, regarding fruit and veg. Mandarins and “sweet” easy peelers of such wide quality, ranging from acceptable to tasteless and even rotten. Grapes seemingly sold with no quality checks. Bought 2 packs of SA red recently, both covered with mould. Returned to the store, all that is offered is replacement. Far too much delivery produce close or even on final date when received and frequently in poor condition. I’ve given up with paying quality prices for sub standard food and will shop elsewhere. (After 30 years as a customer) One positive, staff at my local Tesco store In Kesgrave are lovely and very helpful and I will miss seeing them.

Out of date food, rotting fruit! Have had two deliveries in last couple of months having rarely ordered before - both with issues including: Items delivered that were already Out of date Rotting, mouldy orange and grapes Very short date eg bread with date for following day - couldn’t hope to eat whole loaf by then Dates of others were well before the advertised dates with the products on website Items ordered after closing night before were suddenly not available and yet I could still order all of them the following day when delivery arrived Know it’s a difficult time but it didn’t need to be this bad

My experience with Tesco’s Priority slots has been a Joke, Even though they took money in advance for delivery service for midweek slots I have been having as a loyal customer I am not sure about the legal situation on this matter but I feel Tesco’s have broken what I deemed to be a contract of delivery service. There are stores out there making far better efforts than Tesco’s during this crisis. I am by the way in the vulnerable category. That is just a little extra from me as you are only concerned with a big extra for your share holders. I saw your interview on BBC news today and saw mr Lewis saying he is aiming at reaching one point two million customers the interview was one big gloat. Tesco’s have really not got to grips at all with this crisis there are stores out there doing a much better job of it and I don’t need to be told by you to change

Lately the staff treat the customers terrible. We are all trying to do our best do they have to shout so much there is such a word as please and thank you. I have shopped at TESCO for years never again and I am not the only one

I am registered disabled and rely on my Tesco delivery service for my groceries. upper rate of mobility means just that. Tesco have completely abandoned the disabled and will not deliver to us. I live alone and have had a big F you from tesco. to say i am disgusted is an understatement. while i feel very sorry for people with cancer, unless this is what you have or respiratory problems you are not in need of delivery. when all this is over i think the loyal disabled customers will remember how we were treated

Like others on this site I too have shopped with Tesco for 40 years. We are all aware of the current crisis. Whilst you state that online delivery think before you click like anyone is going to take any notice. I'm in the vulnerable catagory that's why I have my groceries delivered. Can I get a slot not a chance. For all the loyal customers Tesco you have shown no loyalty to us who have already taken and paid for a delivery service. All you care about is how much money your taking and you don't care who from. This crisis will end and when it does a lot of your loyal customers will be shopping elsewhere.

Have used home delivery for over ten years but now find it impossible to get a delivery slot. Our delivery plan has been cancelled and we have been left high and dry. My wife and I both have health conditions and are not able to go shopping ourselves. Fortunately our local farm shop is able to deliver on a weekly basis. So much for loyalty with Tesco’s. After 40 plus years of shopping with Tesco’s we will definitely be taking our business elsewhere in future.

I have shopped on line for my aunt, she lives in London and I live in Wales, she is not computer savvy, have been doing this for years as she is unable to leave the house, in now actually bed bound, but their delivery system is a disgrace, never mind what time of day or night I try to get her a slot there is never one available, like other get the message I'm in a queue but never get a slot as when the page refreshes they are all booked, i have tried virtually every hour of the day and night, literally sitting at my PC for hours at a time, their slogan of EVERY LITTLE HELPS should be dropped

I fully understand the current situation .... however yesterday we had finally got a delivery slot, but somehow our card got flagged up with bank as unusual activity, so we contacted Tesco by phone and gave a new card which was fine, BUT this information was not passed to the delivery driver who then didn’t deliver. This morning we were told to collect it from store, we have 2 vulnerable people in our household so not happy at all, they wouldn’t even move to any day of their choice .... I wouldn’t order from Tesco again

I understand supermarkets are under great stress due to the current coronavirus crisis. However I am 8 and a half months pregnant and live with my mother who I care for as she has several severe health conditions.  We are unable to leave the house and for 2 nights in a row I have stayed up to try and get a delivery slot, as click and collect isn’t ideal.  I was on the app completing my shop from about 23.00, only to be put into a queue at 23.55 and when I was finally let back in all delivery spots were full.  Both me and my mother have been long time customers but am extremely angry at the service on the app and will look to shop elsewhere in the future.

Went to tescos today and one of their staff was very abusive and started swearing at my autistic child after telling me to leave him outside and me telling them I can't as his autistic I have put a complaint in but the staff refused to give me their names and as we were leaving they stuck their middle finger up at us I'm very disgusted with their staff

I was very foolish to buy 2 of your finest lasagna absolutely rubbish, no taste of anything. You should go abd buy a Sainsbury's taste the difference product and try and vetter it. What you are selling is utter rubbish no taste or something that you would want to get again.

On 16th March I managed to get a click and collect slot for 3rd April. Although this was nearly 3 weeks later I picked my items ready. Went on tonight to add a couple more items to find Tesco had deleted my slot and no more available at all. Appalling service.

The site is complete rubbish. Joined the site a while ago ,can't get any slots, want to cancel my delivery service and get a refund (within 14 days) but no option to do this. So much for being in the vulnerable group.

What are Tesco’s doing for the elderly and vulnerable regarding home delivery? NOTHING! Unlike Sainsbuy’s who are actually trying to help these people. Tesco has or is doing absolutely nothing to aid this people, who, I\I might add have been in self isolation since 13th March. This is shameful and shocking in many ways. Come on Tesco, step up, show HOW good you are, though you will be way behind in helping the community. These customers are at this present time the countries main concern. Look at Sainsbury’s plan, please, use, learn and best get your skates on. I shake my head in utter disgust on the way that Tesco has handled this unfortunate thing. Hopefully when this has calmed down, PEOPLE will remember who helped who! Even the local corner shops are doing a better job than you! As the saying goes ‘Every little helps’ obviously not for Tesco!

Tesco lets down NHS doctor and family Total shambles! We feel completely let down by Tesco’s (or more appropriately “Tescan’t”) and it’s crass and entirely useless customer no-service. Our online shop for our household with 3 small children, NHS consultant doctor plus a wheelchair bound grandmother and a dementing grandfather and their carer, all self-isolating, which was scheduled for delivery tonight was cancelled with no advance notice. We only found out because we called to enquire why the order was showing on our account as “delivered” when it had not been received 45 mins after the end of the 4 hour delivery window. We were relying on that delivery! We have not been able to shop in person. So now we will have to go out in person - well done Tesco. No apology given just a completely lame “We understand it is frustrating but the fulfilment centre has technical difficulties”. Can they offer us another slot..,No! Can they arrange for us to collect the order...No! Can they redirect the order to another store or fulfilment centre...No! Can we speak to a manager or supervisor...No, they can only offer a 1 hour call back but because that takes us past 11pm the call back will not be until the morning. Totally useless. How is it possible to be so bad at their jobs that they design a system with no contingencies for when things go wrong. That alone should see the entire management team fired for incompetence. So well done Tesco’s. As if the stress on medics wasn’t enough you have added an unbelievable amount of extra stress worrying about how we are now going to feed all these people with no food. Now I understand why everyone is stockpiling. No wonder so many ignored all the pleas to be socially responsible when shopping. I bet the Tesco management team like Dave Lewis and John Allen all have nice full fridges. I bet if a customer fulfilment centre has technical issues with their online shopping, it would magically still get delivered or a work round would be found. I bet what wouldn’t happen is that they are left with no food to feed their children and elders, dangling on the end of the phone to some customer service representative who is unable to offer any help at all.
