Completely abysmal service from the call centre in Scotland. Staff are rude and need some basic customer service training

I went to Tesco today in Walsall (Littleton Road), this is my local Tesco. I done my weeks food shop, it was very manic which was expected due to the time of the year. I went to the Petrol Station on my way home to find i did not have my debit card, the one i used to pay for my shopping. Evidently, i was feeling very stressed, i emptied my bag and the customer service assistants where so helpful and patient in helping me find my card/calm me down. They advise i go back to Tesco and double check, in which i did. I ran into Tesco in a manic, as i was worried, i could see an extremely large queue at the customer service desk. Due to the importance of my request, i approached the front of the queue and simply stated that i had lost my debit card and to see if anyone has handed it in, i was scared that someone might have found it and used it in the time i was gone. I apologised to the customer at the front and advised i will go to the back of the queue, i just needed reassurance and some sort of support as i was by myself and scared. The customer service advisor, named Julie, was extremely rude, she stated i had to go to the back of the queue and wait my turn. This is completely understandable, but i have worked in retail over christmas for many and i understand how busy it can get but there was no need for the cold shoulder. I went to the back of the queue and waited ten minutes, and it was my turn. Julie served me once again, still with a chip on her shoulder. She initially called me over as it was my turn, but she did not engage or look at me, she continued her conversation with her co-worker. I stood and waited quietly, i did not want to be annoying, i just wanted my card back. Julie then asked if she could help me, even though i had told her the situation previously. I explained i lost my debit card and she asked my name, and she checked her system to find my name not there. She then advised they do not have the card, she said she has been at the counter for the past hour and no one has handed a card in. I was confused, and i advised julie to ask her co-worker or to look behind the till. Julie said no, because it would be in the system if they had it. I was confused and very very stressed out at this point, i suffer through anxiety and could feel my heart racing. As i was leaving the store, it was obvious i was not okay, this is when the security guard asked me if i was okay? In which i responded saying i lost my card, and asked the security guard if anyone had handed him my debit card? He said no, however he advised me to go to the till i was served at as sometimes the till assistants do not get a chance to go to the customer service desk straight away during the busy period. The security guard was wonderful in helping me find the till i was served at, the young girl at the till instantly recognised me to advise me that i left my card and she handed it in to customer service. I could feel my anxiety rise, i was extremely confused yet again. I did not want to face Julie again. I went back to security guard to ask for the manager, he took me to her. The manager was lovely to begin with, and she went with me to customer service to ask about my card. A young girl at the desk said yes, she pulled out a black security box and took my card out of it and gave it to me. I told the manager what happened Julie. Julie continued to be rude and aggressive, she advised she never knew the card was there. I felt like i was a victim of racism. I never have experienced anything like it, the way Julie spoke and looked at me was so downgrading and horrible. Her body language and tone of voice. No-one apologised, and from that moment i knew it was not the place for me to be. I understand christmas is a very busy period, however this is no excuse for me to be victimised or treated like this. I have not been able to relax all day from this as I cannot believe how i was treated. I suffer heavily from anxiety and circumstances like this. Individuals like Julie should NOT be the face of customer service counters, esp during this happy time of the year. I will spreading my story via social media and through friends and family. No-one should be downgraded or demeaned by Julie like i was today. I'm honestly so disappointed and shocked that she was hired with such a foul attitude and view of people. This incident happened on 18/12/2019, between the times of 13:10PM and 13:30PM. Please can the CCTV cameras be checked and my experience be reviewed. I expect Julie to have had a talk about how to treat customers esp when she does not know the circumstances and vulnerability of an individual. I would like an email response.

I placed an order yesterday and it turns out the company cancelled the order and didnt care to even let me know. I got a confirmation of the order on the day of the delivery. I even got a text on the day saying the delivery would be in the first two hours of the four hour slots they provide. Just a waste of time.

Fed up with ordering online and not receiving items as 'not available'. And I'm not trusting these dinlo's to offer a suitable alternative ! Example: My friend ordered a vegan pizza, but was substituted with a pepperoni ! (there's a reason why he ordered vegan !) This time I didn't receive coffee in my delivery, but who accepts any substitute for their coffee !! It's a specific preference ? Surely in 2019 there is a way to identify if you actually have the product to sell me, before I receive sweet f.a at the door ? poor performance Tescos, time to try elsewhere

I visited the local Tesco extra branch near me located in West Bromwich, this evening and there were no 10p carrier bags in the store. There was no signage informing customers of this and l was either expected to purchase a £1 bag or carry all my items in my hand, the night manager whom l spoke to was unsympathetic and apologetic about the current service Tesco extra was providing to its customers. When l asked for a refund of my goods purchased because the store had no carrier bags at all and l observed customers going through the self service rubbish bins for carriers bags to put their shopping in. I was refused a refund and told to come back tomorrow, how disgusting. From now on l will be going to Asda in Great Bridge.

Never order Christmas delivery slot with Tesco unless you want substitutes for everything you have chosen and 5 frozen chickens instead of turkey. Absolute joke! As a priority customer I booker christmas deliver slot last year and instead of my chosen christmas products I received substitutes as they didn’t have in stock what I ordered. If you want to get christmas dinner make sure you go to shop and buy what you need instead of choosing tesco delivery.

Ordered a mobile phone on line on 14th November 2019 - for next day delivery - still not received it - money taken from my account on the 14th. Phoned Tesco - said there was a problem with suppliers web site and would call me back on 18th - didn't call - had to phone them - asked for my money back so I could purchase phone elsewhere - said they couldn't do a refund until the suppliers had got back to them. Surely thats their problem not mine - they've said they will call me back by Sunday they've then had my money 11 days. Appalling online service will not be using again.

Tesco Gerrards Cross, never returned again after having to deal with a slender blonde at the money gram section, who jeered at me whenever she felt I was looking, I don’t wanna play the race card, but she was never pleasant and her indirect actions that seem racist caused me to never return, I just used the facilities at the post office and shopped at M&S

Drivers park where they want. Knocking our fence when getting in and out of vans. Blocking our entrance so we can’t get in or out. Use private property to turn around on. Also nearly knocking our fence in the process. Tesco should ensure their drivers respect people’s property at all times. Will not use again.

Our days you cannot trust humans, they are worst than animals, today I went to Tescos and bought item inside box comes 6 and cost £30, but other box with 3 cost £10 something, in the end no difference between it just quantity and the price, but the funny part the Tesco in catford didn’t make clear both prices I was surprise in payment but because embarrassment I took the expensive one if I know that cost £30 before hit the automatic cashier I will not taken, is a shame you cannot even trust some people try to represent the government, what disgusting evil workers tescos having. they are demons

They sent me 8 products with a short shelf life which I refused. Complained and all I git is we are sorry we are refunding you. I actually ordered these products because I have a disability and was at home waiting for this only to be thoroughly disappointed and receiving a proverbial pat on the back for my troubles. Tesco direct NEVER AGAIN

Tesco Goodge Street Tottenham Court Road Despicable service from this branch and outrages response from a senior manager of the CEO team; Mismanagement; incompetent and chaotic duty manager; verbal assault from the staff sale assistant. Contacted the Head office which was not a high standard, letter response with no complaint reference number, failure to outline the matter, not engaging with me with a despicable and unethical response from the CEO's complaints manager team mentioned that I have been giving a £ 10 voucher as if my serious complaints was worth a tenny to add insult to injury. I have requested a call back from the area manager again another failure from this retail company, unable to comply with the deontology act' code, not taking seriously complaints, brushing away the matter it is scandalous to have such poor standard in our high street and this should be as a matter of emergency address by the regulators which I will be contacting very soon now and further action will be taken

Absolutely appalling security in place at Tesco. Period. Car got hit by another shopper so therefore I tried to request CCTV footage to forward to my insurance company to support my case only to be told by the security staff the outside CCTV is not 'live recording' - meaning is not being recorded ! What is the point of them ? And said to me that I have to follow the process/procedure and contact head office so I did and given them the required info they wanted only for them to say to me the incident indeed was NOT recorded at the time and only recorded if the security guard is present and wishes to ! What kind of work ethics is that? I thought the principles of multiple CCTV in and outside the premises is because the security cannot be everywhere at the same time and / or lack of security staff ! And the security guard even said to me at the time in a defensive way that Tesco are not responsible for what happens to cars parked - customers park at their own risk - yeah maybe so then again I did NOT blame Tesco nor say they were responsible, i know exactly who was responsible it was the car that hit me who was responsible, I just wanted the CCTV footage to support my case to the insurance company ! And isn't it ironic that misuse of the car park in many ways at Tesco can result in a fine or even car being towed away - Yep money talks ! So now I will not go to Tesco as I don't feel safe to leave my car there or even drive there and very importantly MY SAFETY / well being ! Shame on you Tesco !
