Appalling, Andover Tescos was full with customers and they kept letting more and more people in, we're suppose to be in Lockdown and Tescos are doing there own thing. Customers were shoulder to shoulder in the isle. There was no social distancing in the many queues, there were no staff organising anything, just standing round chatting in the isles. Every parking space had been taken, which suggests they are full and should not let anymore customers in. I am shocked, appalled and disgusted that Tescos are allowed to whatever they want and not get fined, they need to be shut down, they are disgraceful.

Christmas delivery dates were opened at 7am yesterday morning. I logged on at 6:30am was put in a queue at 6:45 telling me not to close the page. in at 9:05 am. I have emailed Tesco and asked them to add an automated message saying telling customers where they are in the queue. Apparently it’s being passed on as feedback. Other customers please send same feedback. Maybe it’ll happen!

The delivery guy was very rude and impolite. Please care more and try to enhance your representatives. I will never shop again from Tesco. I do not suggest anyone to do so.

Oh what has happened to your system. todays booked delivery for 9- 10am was late again. after spend 3/5 trying to get though to Tescos on the phone and being cut off once, finally got though to them only to be told that as the driver had not turned up for work the delivery had been postponed. when asked why we had not been phoned, as driver had in the past, we were told Tesco did not have valid phone No!!!!!!! In other words their system had lost it. System changes are meant to improve the service I thought or am I too old fashioned!!!!! Pass me the Morrison number mother

Apparently it is Tesco’s policy that the delivery drivers do not speak to customers when they deliver and confirm that they are delivering to the right customer. Because the delivery driver who dropped my items in front of my door and moved out of sight that I thought he had left did exactly those things. First of all my delivery was more than 3hours late. I was not informed it will be this late. However when it arrived as mentioned I didn’t see the driver I just saw baskets at my door. I acknowledged him but he ignored me and said nothing to me as I unloaded the baskets. He didn’t confirm who I was or that i was the right customer. He did not even apologise for the delay or anything. That was very disrespectful. I have had problems with Tesco and my deliveries too many times. That man is rude and a poor representative for your business. Tesco needs to do better. It is now time to part ways Tesco. It has not been a pleasure. You have treated me and from the other reviews your other customers atrociously and I for one will never shop with you guys again.

Tesco have just cancelled my delivery on the same day its due, no explanation or offer to reorganise, just cancelled and confirming I haven't been charged, like that's some form of compensation. I ordered days ago, I have covid and I live on my own, I have no food, thanks Tesco, I will never shop with you again. Complete let down and waste of time and energy. Why not offer me a click and collect slot instead, their customer service is none existent and no phone number to call, I am completely appalled.

You are not applying clubcard deal savings from online shopping to the final invoice on delivery. This is the 3rd week it has happened. I call, tesco agree, apply the savings and offer a discount voucher as apology. How many other customers are NOT checking their invoice and losing their discount?

Half of my delivery schedules, never happened. They only sent an email after time slot to say they cancelled it for dubious reasons. They are extremely unreliable. I will Never use Tesco deliveries again. I'm going to cancel my saver delivery contract with them.

The Driver called to say he would not deliver to my address but instead demanded that I meet him in a public car park 15 mins uphill away to collect my £160 shopping order. I thought it was a wind up -He argued with me -assumed that I was a holiday maker and therefore did not know the village I lived in and put the phone down on me. finally he did delivered my shopping to my house after talking to his “manager” without a problem as has happened over the past 5 years of deliveries. His excuse was that the roads were too narrow in my village for his van - This is complete rubbish as large vans + small trucks use the roads all the time as it leads to a working harbour Perhaps it is his poor skills in driving and a even poorer attitude that was his problem . I think I will be taking my custom else where.

When there was a delay with delivery yesterday (28 September 2020) I called the customer services and was told that there is a delay and there was 2 more household before me! About 3 hours later at 9pm called them again and they said that it was delivered! The Tesco website also said that it was delivered! The customer services said that the driver came and no one was there and we have refunded you! I live in a cup-de-sac and I can see who is coming and leaving from my living room! Lying is part and parcel of the TESCO customer services, driver and it seems that the whole ethos of this outfit is to have a parasitic attitude! Take take take! I detest liars and as soon as I heard that, I knew I had to expose the cowboy driver! I made several complaints online at Tesco site. Not only we have nothing now and can't get a slot, also our groceries for the week has not been delivered and left us (disabled) high and dry. I can assure you that I will get them legally. We hold the money and TESCO by far is the most horrible outfit out there. Please stop buying from these parasites. I am from now forever! NO more TESCO GUARANTEED!

I did the shopping and I forgot about the clubcard and the cashier didn't even remember me, today being Sunday I did the shopping for a week and most of the products were priced like a clubcard. if I put a clubcard I had a discount of around 20 pounds.I am very disappointed!!!!!

I’m only giving one star as it’s not possible to score zero. All Tesco stores I had a displeasure of visiting are very expensive for the quality (or lack of it) of fresh produce they provide. My local Tesco (near Roman Rd Market in Bow) regularly stocks refrigerated food that is either out of date or very near expiry. I have on several occasions failed to check the dates, as you generally trust that the shop will actually stock fresh food. Last Onken yogurt I bought was 5 days past the date on the lid and it absolutely stank when I opened it. I also suspect that fridges are not properly maintained as the yogurt formed a layer of water on the surface resembling sick. It is also too expensive. Quality of fruit and veg is even worse for that matter. Taste the difference grapes really made me taste the difference, just not in a good way. My biggest problem with all Tesco shops nearby (Bow, Lower Clapton Road, Morning Lane) is the fact that they try to sell a lot of food that’s few days away from being unsafe, yet they still charge astronomical prices for it. I suspect that this is the way they try to increase their failing profits, it’s just disgraceful that they try to mislead customers. I never returned the product as it was was a hassle, and I was too disgusted to even try replacing it. If you want a good quality, tasty and fresh produce, definitely go to Lidl or Aldi, as they are polar opposites. My last comparison was Tesco hot smoked salmon, vs the same product at Lidl. Lidl’s salmon was much fresher, tastier and a whole lot cheaper than its Tesco equivalent. It’s hard to describe how awful Tesco salmon was in comparison. The pack was full of water and the smell was dubious to say the least. I’m actually being kind here, as I wouldn’t feed it to a stray dog. Again, it was 3 days before expiry, and was almost double the price of Lidl. When food reaches the point when it’s about to expire, it should be donated to charities, as that is a better way of minimising the food waste. Instead, Tesco holds this food until it’s unsafe, and what can’t be foisted on unsuspecting customers is then thrown away. You can regularly see produce about to expire being reduced 10 or 20 pence, yet nearly unfit for consumption. Absolute disgrace, and I no longer shop at Tesco from today. I have cut up my Tesco club card and I’m moving over to Lidl permanently, even though they have no loyalty scheme. Even though Lidl is located further away from me, it is well worth visiting due to cheaper prices and far superior quality of fresh or refrigerated produce. Lidl’s bakery produce is always amazing, and even if you arrive later in the day, you are greeted by a smell of lovely patisserie. Tesco baked goods are always more expensive and are only fresh for few hours in the morning. If you arrive in the afternoon (after work), you are confronted by saggy dry bread, half empty shelves and stale pastries that are not fit for animal feed, let alone human consumption. Cardboard is the nearest taste comparison. Dreadful and dreary is the only way to describe this shop. I don’t know if Tesco deteriorated over the last 10 years, or we just didn’t notice how much better Lidl is. If tesco continue to operate in a same way going forward, they are definitely on their way out. They are not even enforcing their mask policy properly. Today was my very last shopping trip to Tesco, and that was a result of witnessing a maskless customer heavily coughing in a fruit and veg section, without even attempting to cover her face. She was clearly unwell and she continued to splutter her way around the store. All of this was witnessed by staff and security, who did absolutely nothing. I simply left my basket and walked out. I’m most definitely never coming back, as this place can only take your money, in return for food poisoning and possible COVID-19 infection. Seriously, if you want freshness, taste, reasonable prices and feeling safe, forget this thievery and visit Lidl or Aldi. You’ll be pleasantly surprised and much better off financially. I might return to Tesco one day, but that day will only come if I develop immunity to salmonella, Covid-19 and botulism. I have thrown my club card in the nearest bin.

Consistently dreadful. Short shelf lives, damaged products, packaging saturated obviously been standing in the rain, contacted customer service, should be renamed don't expect any service as we really don't care. I was also a priority shopper due to shielding. Over 8 weeks of constant issues with my deliveries l had had enough...the stress each week was too much. They have lost this customer who was spending on average £400 a month.

I have been a Tesco customer from as far back as I can remember. I live some way from a store, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer and Asda are all nearer yet I still patronise the store with some frequency, especially for fuel. Today I had the displeasure of shopping in a Tesco store, Hoover Building, Western Avenue, Greenford, UB6 8DW. After buying petrol, I popped into the store for biscuits and bananas. At a self service till, the cost was £2.18. I paid with cash, counting out a ten pence piece, five pence piece and one pence piece. I inserted them then added a £10 note. I did this in order to limit the amount of change I received, hoping for a £5 note and three, £1 coins. Instead, the register churned out a £5 note and lots of change. (The incorrect change only registering 16p in coins not 18p. As I was waiting for the change in coins which were taking some time to finish dropping, a worker standing next to me said, "You used a card; that's not your money!" Initially I thought she was joking. When she then physically blocked me from taking my change, standing with her body and waving her hand before it and called a security guard, I soon learnt that she was being deadly serious. She told the security guard that I was taking money which wasn't mine! There were about 4 people using the tills so it wasn't busy. The previous shopper using the till before me had left some time ago. How could that person's money still be coming out of the register after I had scanned and paid for my shopping? She demanded to see my receipt to prove her claim. Now I am fuming. I told her again that I had used cash and that her allegation made no sense. She wouldn't believe that I had used cash despite my loud protestations. The security guard was asking that I not voice my dissent in front of other customers, not realising that the worker and he were the ones making me feel shocked, overwhelmed, distressed, embarrassed. I couldn't contain my emotions and started to cry. I was being accused of theft! I asked the security guard to instead of speaking with me, to ask the worker why she believed that my change was not mine. He said that he would ask her later. She again said that I had used a credit card! The security guard told her to stay out of the heated discussion. I was now in floods of tears. Why was this worker adamant and more willing to believe that I had stolen someone else's money opposed to listening to me stating that I had used cash? I did not believe that the security guard was handling the situation well. I have never been accused of theft before and certainly have never heard of such a thing in a store as a result of someone collecting their own change. I asked to speak with the manager expecting him to resolve the issue by telling his colleague that she had acted improperly. It was further though inflamed when the manager, Steve, told me that it was quite feasible that the money belonged to the previous shopper! I cried further. I was so pent up with insult and anger. I poured my purchases out and asked for a refund. In just over two years, I will be 60 years old. I am not a young looking hoodlum, who wears baggy jeans and a hoodie. I am producing a feature film to be directed by Gil Junger, director of 'Ten Things I Hate About You. Before Vanessa Feltz and Tricia Goddard, I was the first woman in the UK to host an eponymous TV talk show. The Chrystal Rose Show aired on Carlton TV for 103 programmes. I am a professional individual. How dare the store workers accuse me of theft, preferring to believe that I am stealing someone else's money opposed to the money I am picking up, being change from my purchases? As a black person, this to me smacks of racism. Would the same charge have been levied if I were white and middle aged? Since it happened this afternoon, I have been trying to make sense of it all, but it is hard to make sense out of racist nonsense. Tesco also discriminates regarding the cost of car insurance depending on your name. Do view a YouTube video evidencing that. I have verbally complained to Tesco Head Office plus sent an email to the CEO but have not had a response yet. If the option existed, I would give Tesco 0/10!!!

I had a tesco delivery scheduled at 3:20, a mismatch happened and the driver went home, fair enough. I called at 4 asking for my food, they said that they will deliver it today and will give me a call when, they told me it will be ASAP and my order is priority. So it comes to 7 pm and theres no groceries, so I called up asking where is my groceries? Turns out it will come between 9-10 because the drivers have other orders. 10 pm comes and still no food, an adrupt man on the phone told me to wait until 11. He wouldn't let me speak and I felt as if i was getting told off. 1130 comes and they never came. The next morning I called again and they said that my order is missing. Don't shop at tesco for this nonsense

AVOID TESCO OR RISK BEING LEFT WITH NO FOOD OR MONEY If I could give Tesco a rating of no stars then that would be appropriate. This is the second time Tesco has left me with no food but have taken my money. Shop showed as delivered, so I called (the lady was very lovely) to enquire. She looked into it for me and she was told that the van my order should have been on the driver was off sick and had been put on other vans but would be late. I said that would be no problem as I needed the delivery. At 9:50pm the lady called me back to say that my order hadn't gone out and that a duty manager would call me tomorrow to rearrange my delivery but couldn't guarantee when that would be and there would be no guarantee of a delivery tomorrow. The duty manager is there! Then why aren't they calling their customers! I am now left with no food and a family to feed. Oh but Tesco have my money, so after working all week my family time will be taken away, as well as the embarrassment of having to borrow money and then go and do a food shop. Tesco you are a disgrace and should not be allowed to take people's money and not provide the service/goods. People avoid at all costs. DO NOT USE

Absolutely rubbish and customer service is non-existent. They are taking advantage of Covid and sending out short shelf life and damaged good. I cannot advise strongly enough to steer clear unless you want to pay to dollar to receive rubbish.
