“Before lockdown I used another supermarket but couldn’t get click and collect there so tried Tesco. I’ve been very pleased with the quality of items, the process of collection is so well organised I don’t even need to get out of my car and the staff are v pleasant (norham Road Tesco). I’m going to stick with Tesco after lockdown”

“Cannot fault Tesco, during this pandemic. They have really considered the vulnerable. Have used them all the time we have been isolated, cannot fault one order. We should appreciate the service these staff have offered. They too, have families who they could be contaminating, whilst making sure we are all fed. Congratulations Tesco”

“i am 82 ,just had 3 heart attacks ,and not had one delivery slot since the lockdown ,now its locked my account ,i am registered vulnerable ,reminds me of the titanic ,save the rich and let the poor drown.”

“Bought two chicken masala from Finest range which we found were not enjoyable. They were like the cheapest you could buy and ruined our Friday night curry night. I always thought that surely it had to be ok from Finest range but not true in this case. When I tried to complain I had no joy without taking packaging back. Couldn't as had been binned and covered with the curry sauce.”

“After 3 online orders, we have been very pleasantly pleased at how good the system is, and the delivery guys have all been brilliant. The system of notifying the final delivery time on the day is very useful. And the stock levels are good, and we haven't had any missed or wrong items.”

“Tesco craswell street Portsmouth is amazing my grandad went to do some shopping felt poorly in store and the manager kerry looked after him so well got the paramedics out so see him (who gave him a lift home) and also called him today to see if he was feeling any better. You couldn’t ask for anything more. I was so shook up about him being alone and feeling unwell but to know there was someone doing everything they can to help actually made my cry. There are some really descent people thank you so so much”

“Poor quality produce for click and collect order. The easy peelers were practically rotten and the mango so soft and the skin so wrinkled I took them straight back to the shop. The selection available for replacement was also not the best. It makes me wonder where they've been sourcing their fruit from. I don't know who they employ to pick out this stuff, I can't help but suspect they attempt to palm off the poorer quality and older fresh produce onto those who order online for delivery or click and collect. I'll be going back to Aldi where the fruit is definitely of fresher quality. It's not worth the hassle of ordering online only to find that the fresh produce is substandard.”

“Hi I Go to Tesco in Windsor town and a young boy called Lewis is always so helpful on a number of occasions he has been the only member of staff working while others giggle in the corner sometimes making me feel uncomfortable o have voiced this before. So thank you kindly young Lewis for all your help and kindness”

“Just taken our first delivery by Tesco’s. All items received, brilliant. Left at the door as we are self isolating. The young man who made the delivery was friendly and very courteous, should have asked his name.”

“ABSOLUTE DISGRACE THAT THE STAFF WORKING AT THE STORE IN BALBY DONCASTER THINK THEY ARE IMMUNE FROM COVID 19 - WALKING CLOSELY TO CUSTOMERS WITH THE 2M GUIDELINE - HAPPILY SPREADING THE DISEASE FROM PERSON TO PERSON - WELL DONE TESCO YOU HAVE ONCE AGAIN GAVE ME REASON TO SHOP AT ALDI WHERE YOU CAN HAVE UNLIMITED CONTACTLESS AND NO REASON TO BE AFRAID TO SHOP BECAUSE OF THE UNEDUCATED - SELFISH - ARROGANT STAFF YOU EMPLOY ( SOME ARE NICE THOUGH )”

“We had our first ever Tesco home delivery yesterday in Wakefield on 12 the May at 4.30 What a great experience all our items bar one delivered to our door in carriers by a very polite young man ( wish I had asked his name )We are shielding and been living off what we could it was such a nice experience to order what we wanted without the fear of walking round a supermarket. I love the way they keep us informed and give us a very precise sheet to check or delivery with.We had 3 items substituted with adequate replacements .Only downside is we would use this regularly but can't get snore slots . Thank you Tesco for a great service and thank you to the packer everything was fresh and had a long use by date ...”

“I’ve just read a very similar review to mine, regarding fruit and veg. Mandarins and “sweet” easy peelers of such wide quality, ranging from acceptable to tasteless and even rotten. Grapes seemingly sold with no quality checks. Bought 2 packs of SA red recently, both covered with mould. Returned to the store, all that is offered is replacement. Far too much delivery produce close or even on final date when received and frequently in poor condition. I’ve given up with paying quality prices for sub standard food and will shop elsewhere. (After 30 years as a customer) One positive, staff at my local Tesco store In Kesgrave are lovely and very helpful and I will miss seeing them.”

They Heysham store staff have been kind and friendly and organised a good system to get people in and out and the shelves have remained stocked throughout with the essentials.
