“The transition to Australia was a bit daunting, but with the help of Global Work & Travel (especially Asti) it has gone so smoothly. I was able to meet some friends, who were in the same boat as me, on the first night to easy the blow of moving away from home. If it wasn't for Global Work & Travel, the transition would so much harder to do - I'm extremely grateful for all the help I have received over the last couple months to help my move to Australia. Thank you Global Work & Travel and thank you Asti!”

“Emma has been pretty great in assisting me with moving to Canada. I did have to chase a bit in regards to the things like my hostel, banking and initial things. With saying that, I know it's been hectic for her as I originally had Alice, then Bec. And now Emma. So I assume I got lost in the list. Her continual support after landing in Vancouver has been very appreciated and made my life a lot easier. Thanks Emma!”

“I could not have done any of this without the help of my amazing trip coordinator Bella. She was constantly there to help me In the months and weeks leading up to my departure and to put my mind at ease. In regards to after I arrived, Australia in and of itself is an amazing place and speaks for itself. I have no regrets other than not being able to have left sooner !”

“I was super excited to be Au-Pairing in Europe for the first time! The first 2 weeks with my host family were a bit rocky, I reached out to my trip coordinator and they gave me SUCH great advice. After taking their advice me and my host family have great communication and all parties are happy with our placement.”

“Coming from New Zealand and heading to Scotland, my experience with my Trip Co-ordinator Krystal was exceptional. Global has made two things possible right from the get-go, obtaining a job and accommodation from outside the UK before my arrival. Without Global, I cannot imagine how this would have been possible. Upon that, the job I got is unlike anything else I have ever done where the team is great, staff meals are provided, accommodation is provided, I've met and made friends with people from back home and with locals in Scotland as well as the guests coming into the hotel I work at from all around the world. Being able to experience the UK as I wanted to experience it was also an important thing which I wanted to bear in mind while planning my trip. I was able to hold the booking for Generator and stay with other friends living on the outskirts of London. Having the ability to plan my own living arrangements prior to arriving in London is something I appreciate and commend Global Work and Travel for because it made my experience that much more memorable and positive all round. Thus far, it's a life changing experience - I couldn't look back, only forward. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

“The whole pressure and stress of organising my trip was relieved from me going with Global Work & Travel. My Trip Coordinator Holly is amazing!! She helped me prepare for the move overseas and made the whole process of finding work so easy. If anyone else has the pleasure of having Holly as their trip coordinator then they're in safe hands! She's always there if I have any questions and gives the best tips and tricks from her experience with travelling as well as her local knowledge of the UK. I get so excited to show her pictures from my trip so far to share my excitement and experiences with her. Thank you global work & Travel. Most importantly THANK YOU HOLLY.”

“The service from global was really helpful and made me feel at ease about moving to the other side of the world! I secured a job (very easily) with the assistance of Asti. The packing list etc are useful and thoughtful helpers to preapre you fro your jounrey and there are enough checkin opportunities before your trip starts. I had a few hiccups when I arrived in Australia with my pickup service and calls to the helpline cost me dearly. The set up of the mobile sim and bank card are really helpful, as well as assistance with your TFN if needed and guidance for Medicare (if applicable). The trips (national park and surfing) I had on my first two days were excellent and i really enjoyed them, although it would have been nice if they could be shared with other Global travellers. I am looking forward to my Great barrier Reef trip too. I have given four stars as I was not very comfortable sharing a mixed dorm in my first hostel and I think an option for single sex dorms should be given, I would have also expected a slightly better quality of accommodation for the first week for the price that is being paid. I also think a wider range of employment options could be beneficial.”
