“Global followed through with everything they had promised, my boyfriend and I both had job interviews before arriving to our destination and had secured jobs. They had helped us at every step by explaining what we needed to do to be prepared and made our trip planning effortless! Huge shoutout to Shona who has been the one to help us every step of the way.”

“The process throughout my trip was made very easy, straight forward and understanding with all I needed to prepare for beforehand, with the help of Shona. My trip so far has been very enjoyable and comfortable with a divide between a new comfortable lifestyle & finding fun and new activities to do around the areas I'm staying. Very happy with the choice of work Global provided me with at Portsea Hotel.”

“Organising my first solo trip with Global Work & Travel has made the experience extremely rewarding and enjoyable. With having never travelled alone before, I was quite doubtful and unsure of how the trip would go, but the service that I received from Nichola, Edwina and Will eased all of my worries. The trip was planned to perfection with no faults and each step of the way was explained to me by the team thoroughly even to the extent of navigating through all the different airports. All of my questions were answered in epic time and detail. I wish my trip didn't have to come to an end as the people that I have met along the way have been the friendliest people I have ever came across. I will definitely volunteer again and continue to cherish the memories and friendships I now get to bring home with me, which I have made with all the gentle giants and lovely humans!”

“My overall experience with Global Work & Travel has been great. They were great to communicate with me when getting my trip all taken care off. From paying for my trip(the payment plans really helped me), to booking my flight & settling my travel insurance(Ellen is so lovely), to arranging my airport pickup, hostel stay, activities & keeping in constant contact with me even after my arrival into Australia(Asti is a great communicator). I was a lucky one that got offered a pretty good job at Shoal Bay Country Club with housing including which has been a huge stress relief. I have unlimited job matches with my package & can't wait to see how my next job match goes. Asti my arrival coordinator has been great. She was always emailing to chat about important things to get done or for me to know. She always calls or emails to check-in, I haven't felt alone before coming to Australia and even more so while being in Australia which is so great for a first time solo traveling female. Asti always emails me back fairly quickly whenever I have questions or concerns, which is so awesome! It takes a lot off of my mind & plate knowing I have someone who has my back in a time when I have questions. I would recommend booking your trip through Global Work & Travel if you want to take all the guest work out of planning, flights, visas, jobs etc.”

“I can say that this was the best decision of my life to go overseas and live abroad for a couple months. I count myself very lucky as I've had amazing experiences on this journey and will continue to have many more as I have created a new life in Edinburgh, Scotland. The team I had with Global Work and Travel made me feel secure and ready to leave my life in Australia for some time and explore what else life could offer me. I want to thank Rebecca for helping me with my flights and travel insurance as I hadn't ever booked them before on my own. (I can now as I've had opportunities to fly around Europe!) Krystal has been fantastic, she's been there for any questions I had about the Visa, SIM card, bonus activities I had for my UK Plus program and more. I felt I got a handle being on my own quickly, but knowing Krystal was there just solidified the confidence. (Unfortunately not for weekends or out of work hours, so luckily no dire need for information at those times for me). While not everything is perfect with Global, I am grateful for my experience with them. Thank you!”

“When i was completely lost and didnt know what to do or how to do it my trip coordinator Krystal was always there ready to help me which made my overall trip so much more comforting and enjoyable, if it wasnt for her i would not be where i am right now.”

“This was the first time I participated in such an experience; I really loved the whole idea behind the project, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience. I enjoyed seeing a bit of Zanzibar while getting to know people in the community. African Impact truly makes an impact here, and I was reminded of this daily every time I bumped into students even the ones from the nurseries. Kids running up to you for a hug or the adults stopping you on the street to say hello was truly amazing. I was impressed by the commitment adult learners showed by showing up to class eager to learn.”

“I felt that making the big move from Ireland was made easy and stress free with global. Having accommodation, SIM card and bank account all set up and ready for you arriving. Bella has been a great help with answering any questions and getting everything sorted for us. Bella has also been in contact throughout our trip to make sure we have been settling in and everything is going well. I would highly recommend!”
