“Excellent people. Excellent service. Can’t thankyou enough for the help and the dedication this team has given to us to help our trip run as smooth as possible. So grateful to have this opportunity. A personal thanks to David as he has guided us right thru since the start. Definitely recommend!”

“I paid $1 to explore the option of teaching abroad. A week later they charged my account $248 with warning or authorization. Now I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund!?! Beware!!!”

Hi LA, We are sorry to hear that you feel this way about your recent experience with us! After you paid your initial $1 deposit and completed your booking forms, there is a checklist which outlines what happens next. One of the next steps was for you to set up a payment plan that best suits you. If you do not set up a payment plan during this time, you are automatically set up in our cheapest bi-weekly plan, with the first installment commencing after 14 days of booking. We also outline this in our booking terms & conditions which you agreed to upon registering with us. Our team did try to call, email & text you a number of times for 2 weeks to discuss your trip and payment plan with you. Unfortunately we did not receive a response from you so you were automatically set up in the payment plan as outlined above. We have asked one of our department managers to reach out to you to discuss your concerns further! Thanks, Global Work & Travel

“My trip so far in the Okanagan with Global Work and Travel has been the best decision I’ve made! From my few days in Vancouver to the blazing summer in Osoyoos to now preparing for ski season, it’s been amazing so far and enjoying every minute. Super thankful to the team especially Eimear who’s been guiding me the whole way and being there to help with anything I have problems with. Looking forward to more travels in the future!”

“I booked the working holiday for Canada and was assigned a trip coordinator. She was helpful at the beginning but after payment was pretty hard to get hold of for advice. We encountered many unexpected costs that were not mentioned in the initial calls. I was charged an extra £400 for a medical exam which I was told I wouldn’t need initially. I was later assigned David as a travel concierge who was supposed to book my flights and find an insurance provider. He quoted ridiculous prices which were double the cost of the flights I had researched. I ended up booking my own flights, but a girl I travelled with was charged £300 extra by Global for the same flight. The only helpful person in this process was Eimear. She went above and beyond for us and was wonderful. She met us when we arrived and helped us to get set up in Canada. Overall, I’m happy with where I have ended up but I would not use this company again.”

We do offer fully flexible air fares which are more expensive than you see online as you are able to change the flights as needed with no extra fees until they are ticketed. We are sorry if this was not something you wanted to book and we do allow customers to book their own flights if they wish! It's really great to hear that Eimear went above & beyond for you & that she was wonderful in the whole experience! I will be sure to pass this feedback on to her! “I applied originally wanting to go to America but due to visa issues I got moved over to Canada (my choice). I was assigned my first coordinator and at first she was helpful but sometimes I felt like I was left alone to figure a lot of stuff out myself, especially once payment was made. I was then assigned to Eimear things became so much easier and she has been there every step of the way. Always answering emails, calls and giving great advice when it come to work places. We would of been lost without her. I had money left in my global account from changing from the us to Canada, however when it come to booking flights I felt like I was taken advantage of as the flight was nearly 30 percent more than what was on the airlines website. I was then told if I book that flight with global the remaining money in my account would be refunded which made me feel a little blackmailed. Overall I do think the company is great but some of the staff were not helpful. Thank god for Eimear.”
