“Compare and contrast. Went to wright bros Battersea power station this Sunday (father's day) with no reservation. Got a table, food and wine lovely, but more importantly the service was fantastic. Happily paid the bill plus service charge and left an additional tip. So impressed returned today however although the food and wine was equally good the service wasn't a patch on the day before. Constantly kept having to request service although we waited and waited and restaurant was no where as busy as day before and we only approached service staff when they didn't look as though they were serving other tables. 'Yes I'll be there' in a moment' was the response initially and that continued with following requests. Sat there with our oysters waiting for our drinks and then when they turned up the wine disappeared following a request for a wine cooler which again we had to chase up after it disappeared and we wanted a top up. £168 later we have skipped dessert and check please. Although food and wine were good we eat out a lot and service is everything. We are nice people and not hugely demanding but if service is not right we won't return . Stupidly we paid the £26 service charge automatically added to the bill”

“The delivery was on time, although the driver did not ring the door bell but left the box on the door step. The chiller system worked well and kept everyhting cold until used the next day, in fact the langoustines were still frozen. The langoustines and oysters were very good but we cannot say the same for the lobster. It had an offputting green interior and did not taste of much at all. Was it perhaps Canadian?”

“Yes products arrived in a great cold storage, just a bit disappointed with a couple of my items in this box this is the first time it’s happened, normally things are awesome. Quite a few of my oysters were already open so I had to throw them and the lemon soles were very small. I will continue to use as the whole fish and other items are fab. I wrote to customer services earlier in the week and had no reply yet?”

“All products I've had have been of very good quality EXCEPT FORE THE SARDINES WHICH WERE TOTAL RUBBISH ABSOLUTLEY AWFUL. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG YOU'VE HAD THESE FROZEN BUT I HAD TO THINK TWICE ABOUT GIVING THEM TO THE CAT.”

“We really enjoyed the whole meal, the fish cakes were the best we’ve had, but there were a couple of minor points with main and dessert to note as follows; as the Wellington was only in the oven for a short time the pastry at the bottom was not cooked despite being put on a pre heated tray and timings followed as per instructions. The jus was a little salty with not a lot of flavour but that said the meat and the duxelles around it were delicious. The cheesecake was very decadent, if not a tad big, and therefore a little too rich but the raspberry coulis was a great compliment. The positives of the meal certainly outweighed any minor criticisms which may just be a matter of taste. Thank you for a lovely, easy to cook meal, delivered in great condition and exactly in time.”

“The oysters and mussels I ordered were delicious – much nicer than anything I've had locally. My only issue was that around a dozen of the mussels were broken and unusable and this was disappointing given that I'd ordered these for a special Valentine's dinner. I emailed customer services and was refunded though, so that was fair enough for me.”

“Oysters were great Previously have ordered an oyster shucker which was really poor quality and only lasted for 24 oysters. I phoned to complain but was told that was ok , and it was unreasonable to expect it to last for longer”

“Delivery went very smoothly although they did not ring the bell just left the box on the doorstep, luckily we heard the van. The products were excellent and really well packaged and presented. One product was unavailable but you let us know in advance and offered us an alternative date which was a good idea.”
