Bought goods on at 7pm on Thursday at 7pm On Saturday after reading "avoid at all cost" I called to cancel my order and was told I could not cancel I asked about a cooling off period and was told that only applies to finance I explained that the table would be to big for my room and was told that measurements were my responsibility and that is clearly stated on the terms and receipt on the back of the receipt. My receipt was emailed to me. They would let me choose another table and or give me a credit note that was valid for 12months. I WENT TO 3 OF THERE STORES & found nothing suitable. And to add insult to injury they want me to pay £79 delivery when I have spent £1113. In their store. I am a disabled pensioner. These goods won't even get here till 2034 I am disgusted.

My sideboard has deep imperfections on the top which are easily visible , Customer Services plus the Owner of the company were totally unhelpful, with the owner just ignoring my communication. All I wanted was a replacement and not a refund, just not forthcoming. After months of trying to get this arranged and just being ignored, I am sorry to say I have given up. After sales service deserves 0. I shall not use this company again, which is a shame as they are a local family company, but without a customer centric ethos. Shame on them !!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID Purchased a leather sofa 17 months ago and now has a tear and leather rubbing away at the top and on the seat. After contacting customer services they have advised this is normal wear and tear ie where your head rests, arm rests, etc. begs the question if they are manufacturing sofas fit for purpose. Obviously using poor quality leather. Customer service not interested and not apologetic. Have to laugh at their premium service, only premium service is when they take your money and then all downhill from there, delivery dates not met, faulty leg rests, etc,etc. if you want decent quality goods shop elsewhere.

Cowboys... No wonder there are so many bad reviews, Selling ""FAULTY"" goods & not refunding! Absolutely dire customer service! An organisation with no ethics or morals and breaking the law. Do NOT shop here! Nothing is premium about their after care

Everything they sell is damaged and the customer service is appalling very ignorant not customer friendly that’s for sure and once they have your money they are not interested.Stay clear !!!!

Visited the Designer Rooms In Silverburn . Whilst looking around I noticed a picture of Ibrox Stadium in a mirrored frame. I was really surprised to see this in a furniture shop like this, as it’s the kind of thing you expect to see in a market and not a high end furniture shop. Cheap and tacky.

Sold faulty goods which were confirmed by their own manufacturer and our own independent manufacturer refuses to refund. Customer service non existent shocking service do no buy ever from this company. The so not care just scam for money

I’ll start with the positive. I was served by Kerr in the Silverburn store who was extremely helpful. However, the day after paying a 30% deposit I decided to cancel one of the items from my order. I was told I signed paperwork in store that stopped me from being able to do so. Having being advised it would be weeks before delivery I’ve been left feeling very frustrated. Customer service advised me to take the matter up with the store and the store advised me to call the contact centre. I wish I’d read these reviews beforehand as I’ve been left bitterly disappointed in the service I’ve received. Especially, considering the customer service manager would call me and I’m still waiting. Not good enough Designer Rooms

AVOID AT ALL COST OR IT WILL COST YOU! They sell broken/damaged furniture. They have a no refunds policy which they will not tell you about. Be aware before giving this company your money as they promise you it all to give you nothing. STAY AWAY FROM DESIGNER ROOMS - THEY ARE CROOKS.

Will never buy anything ever again from this company recliner chair broke after four months this was July last year they sent out an engineer on two separate occasion who told me it was broken and needed a new part been waiting since then for the part to be delivered, I have lost count of how many phone calls I have made and just keep getting fobbed off on every call, was told the part was coming from china please avoid this shop at all costs

Got suite delivered on the 12/1 /23 the sofa faulty there is a gap between the recliners phoned customer service that’s a joke taken a section 75 out with my card going for independent report now sick of them promising to sort it out would not recommend them at all didn’t know either that most of the furniture comes from china

On three occasions now items were delivered damaged by the designer rooms extremely poor quality and terrible customer service. I definitely wouldn’t recommend purchasing items from them.

I have waited 4 months for a sofa, armchair and footstool. I was told delivery would be 4/5 weeks. I have been lied to by the salesman and customer services. I was eventually given a loan sof which is the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on. My furniture was delivered today. The delivery team were excellent but they are the only people in the company wh have met this standard. I spent £1500 and I would advise anyone not to do the same. What a shambles!!

Still haven't received delivery of suit we paid for in early August contacting head office wasn't really helpful .Person I spoke to was apologetic ,but could confirm date of delivery ,.Spoke to Glasgow shop ,and she said when we signed our name ,meant we understood terms and conditions ,but your in a shop busy on a Saturday afternoon ,your not standing g there reading everything ,as we paid in full,the sales woman said we could opt for a separate,delivery or Nov,deliver ,we said Nov, so after paying in full,we're still waiting ,and by the way this was a present for our 50th wedding anniversary, I'm not amused as they do not do refunds ,because they say these suites are custom maid ,I do understand its a sign of times were living in but really I wouldn't recommend designer rooms ,and make sure you are told from sales that there is no refund after paying for your order ..

Went to the shop in Kilmarnock this evening, saw an ornament which had a sale sign and price on it, said we would take it and the woman quickly took it off us and wrapped it up, on paying we were asked to sign (Terms & Conditions) thinking this was very strange we signed anyway, payed and left, got home an hour later and unwrapped the ornament only to find the price label which was the exact same price as the sale price. Reading the comments below I now realise what we signed, they are absolute thieves and Im so happy I came across the reviews too as we were planning on buying a few thousand pounds worth of furniture for our new house...

SCAMMERS!!! I purchased a lamp at £129 and was told it would need to be ordered in to store. I was asked to pay for it, sign to say payment had been made and that was that. A week and a half later I received a call to say the lamp was ready to collect. Once I got it home I realised the lampshade was faulty, there is a big line through the lampshade. My husband returned it to be told he could not have a refund and only store credit or an exchange. We were offered a new shade but as I had already waited a week and a half I did not want this, I needed a lamp now. There is no documents in the shop that state no refunds and I was never told this before purchasing. Lady explained it was in the terms and conditions I signed, I was never told it was terms and conditions and apparently the part that says no refunds is on the back, which I was never notified too. Two and a half weeks later after paying for the lamp, I have no lamp, no refund or anything. This is completely unacceptable, people should be made aware before paying for goods that no refunds are given.

Worst customer service I have ever had to endure. Ordered sofa June/July 2021. 1st one was received on time however had extensive water damage. Delivery date of replacement sofa was changed around 3/4 times and eventually arrived 10 weeks later than quoted (around 14 months of original purchase date) When this arrived it was also severely damaged. There is no communication from customer services to advise of delay or to apologise. Constantly had to chase them up. As we didn’t want to wait another 4 - 6 months for yet another replacement we requested a refund. The response to this was an extremely blunt unapologetic email from Carly at customer services stating we would not be getting a refund. So now awaiting another replacement sofa to arrive, with an eta of January….. 18 months from original date of purchase. The £50 store voucher we have been offered as compensation is laughable. Avoid at all costs, non existent Customer service and over priced furniture that arrives from China in sub standard condition.
