Shocking company. They get 5 stars on Trust Pilot only because the shop staff ask for it, which i do not have problem with. Just do not have an issue or delivery problem But as for customer service management, totally ignorant. Lies after lies after lies, expect delivery at least 4 months after they say it will arrive and if then and totally refuse a refund for anything.

Don't think ur sorry at all !!! Bought 4 beautiful dining chairs , spring came right thru one, tearing the lining off with it !! Went back to the Designer rooms in WISHAW only to be told "nothing we can do" then foned customer service !! Joke, nope, can't help either !!! None of them even wanted to LOOK at my faulty chair ! And it was FAULTY!! I've spent THOUSANDS in that shop since it opened, however will NEVER EVER buy from them again.

Seen rug I liked and at a fair price,bought it and was told come back in 12 weeks to collect. I’ve also bought furniture from store in the past and apart from the wait, could not be happier

I’m loathed to give even 1 star. Purchased a sofa which was damaged on delivery, the leather was through to the thread in some areas as if it was dragged along gravel, I took the photos and emailed them while the delivery drivers were still in my property, a specialist was sent to assess and offered to repair by sticking on another bit of leather, I declined and asked for a replacement, after 12 months and having to go through Trading Standards a replacement was eventually delivered which was even more damaged than the first sofa with the back being broken and bent. Eventually after 15 MONTHS, 95 emails and easily 50+ phone calls of constant battling with Designer Rooms I got a full refund. I will NEVER use this company again.

Bought and paid for coffee table in November told it would be here February. Went to store and told no news of it. Phoned customer services who said it would be at least another 3 weeks. Asked for refund told it wasn’t there policy to refund but it’s okay for them to take almost 5 months to deliver a coffee table. Very poor customer care. Elaine Morrison

STAY AWAY FROM DESIGNER ROOMS - THEY ARE CROOKS - HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A TABLE SINCE JULY 2021. SPENT OVER £9000 AND STILL HAVENT GOT MY ORDER - NOBODY TAKES OWENRSHIP - NOBODY CALLS YOU BACK - RYAN CAMPBELL THE OWNER IS RUNNING AN INCOMPETENT COMPANY

Bought suite in January on being assured two suits were available for ANY DAY DELIVERY, paid in full at end of January and still waiting - DO NOT BUY OFF DESIGNER ROOMS and their Customer Care is non-existent

AVOID!! If it were possible I would give 0 stars. Staff on shop floor friendly until you question them about your order. I was treated with hostility and down right arrogance while I was trying to pay balance on suite which they insist is paid in full before delivery. Delivery came with half suite wrong colour, clearly visible through wrapping. Issues with designer rooms the minute they took my money. I will never use again and have shared my experience with friends/family/colleagues. Currently sitting on half a suite as other half is god knows where as it sure isn't in their warehouse. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE only gift of gab to say sorry.

Our first visit was wonderful. Robert at Designer Rooms in Coatbridge assured us there were two sofas already in the warehouse and we could take delivery whenever we wanted it, writing on order we would probably want delivery near end of February. We went in on 29th January and paid the remainder of bill, being reassured that our delivery driver would call to arrange suitable time. No mention of any problems! We had our old suite uplifted and our new suite never arrived. After a week we were given a tiny two seater sofa - my partner is 6’ 7 and no visitors can have a seat. Went down to shop last Saturday to see when our suite might be arriving. Robert cannot give me a delivery date and cannot explain to me why I don’t have delivery date for a sofa I have bought and paid for. There were other pieces for our dining room and bedroom we were interested in, but we will not be buying anything from Designer Rooms again and I have advised my large family and friends on Facebook to not purchase anything either - shocking!

I ordered my sofa in september and was told I had just missed the cut off for christmas delivery, was told it would be early january for delivery so thought ok fair enough. I called at the beginning of january and was told there was no date for delivery yet to call back in a few weeks, I called customer service and was told it would be early march for my delivery - I was livid at this point complained to be told it was worst case scenario if delivered in march but was assured it would be between early-mid feb, didnt hear anything for the next few weeks had to call customer service again and they told me end of feb. I was told to go into the store to set up my credit agreement so went into the wishaw store to set it up, to be told they were expecting me but their internet was down so couldnt set it up, they were really unhelpful with the sort of “oh well” attitude! I then went to the coatbridge store and managed to set up credit with angie! My sofa was delivered today eventually!

I have 4 sensum diffusers, 3 white high gloss and one grey that was only launched for Christmas 2021. Out of 4 diffusers only one works. The grey which was purchased as a Christmas gift worked three times. The lights stopped working but the steam still comes out. I reported it by email around a year ago. The other two white diffusers the lights work but the steam doesn’t. Now these items are £99 each and I’m disgusted that customer service done nothing. So Folks don’t buy the sensum diffusers I have one that works and they don’t care when you contact them.

I contacted customer service at 09:00 am to get an order update, the telephone recording advised I was in position 2, 30 minutes later I was placed in position 1, I am still on the phone 1 hr and 23 minutes later and have still not been put through to an advisor , I made an earlier call to another company and was dealt with in 90 seconds, I will update you when I get more info to perhaps make you think twice before calling The Designer Rooms Customer Service.

Ayr branch. I called into this shop just to browse. I wasn't pressured by the staff at all ( I hate it when staff are all over the customer as soon as you walk into their shop ). I bought 4 beautiful mirrored pictures and a rug. The staff, David and Robert were more than helpful so much so that they helped me to carry them all to my car which was parked down the road ( at the close off shop ). Thank you both, you come Highly recommended. Julie mathie.

We ordered over £5k worth of goods. Delivery was a nightmare as they kept cancelling at the last minute. Still waiting for one item and the £100 goodwill gesture. No response from the company. Avoid!

We Ordered lots of Cruz furniture on the start of October, 2 x Cruz side tables, 1 x Cruz sideboard and 1 x Cruz coffee table, it’s now the 5th January and we have still not received our furniture. We were guaranteed a delivery on 12th December, then the 18th December, then 5th January Now after chasing them up again, We are now being told start of February! We have had not had a single phone call, or update plus the customer service is awfull! And now no option to get deposit back as it non refundable. I can safely say I will never set foot in another designer rooms shop again!

I ordered a 2 seater and and 3 seater recliners , in October I was told it was in stock and would be delivered in 2 weeks , 2 weeks passes I heard nothing . I phoned them and got told thier was a delivery issue and it would be another 2 weeks , again nothing. Not even a phone call or email to tell me , I called again to be told it would be the 1st or 2nd week of December before I would get the sofas, I called yesterday and was told they still didn't have them , I paid over £1.600 in full and got nothing. We have no sofa and Christmas is completely ruined as my family can't come without no furniture, I was offered a loan of a sofa?? During a pandemic? No think you. I'm contacting my solicitor. If someone takes £1600 from you and you receive nothing I'm pretty sure that's against the law

I wish I had read the reviews about this company before buying from them or I would have never gone near them. Ordered 4 dining chairs, waited weeks for them I eventually got a date for delivery and only 2 of the chairs were there ( the other 2 were the wrong colour). One of the chairs delivered is also damaged so now waiting on 3 chairs. Continuously calling the ‘customer service’ dept who have no idea what their doing and don’t communicate with you our their colleagues in other depts. What’s even more frustrating is that these chairs are available with another company for almost half the price which I saw after purchasing. Seriously avoid at all costs!!
