Considering that we spent a lot of money In the store over the last couple of years,I was very dissapointed with the attitude from Designer Rooms regarding the King Size bed we purchased.It started to sag in the middle.After numerous phone calls of complaint,we were basiclly told nothing was going to get done about it.I certainly won't purchase anything again from them

Sofa cushions began to look old after a very short time was changed by the company but had the same problem.

do not buy from this store 3 months they had my money £440 no one called me or mailed me to keep me in picture I called numerous times to be told I will get kaitlyn to call never once did she call me her father answered the phone I over heard them speaking about me she did not want to take the call cause it was me he eventually fixed it all out she wants to sell but cant take the heat when the kitchen is hot

I bought a marble table with 6 chairs at a casi of £2500.when the table was delivered it was badly scratched, chunks out of it and it looked like someone had tried to fill the crack and then just rubbed it down. They then brought a new table which was badly damaged as well, we are onto our 4 th table which has two chunks out of it. The lady at the head office branch has now said that their managing director checked this table over and he has said it’s natural chunks, what a load of nonsense , I am taking this all the was and getting an expert in marble to come and examine the table. Customers be aware , customer satisfaction does not seem to matter to this company.

Like a previous reviewer, the customer sales team have decreed that "The Designer Rooms only offer a 12 month guarantee from date of delivery, our records indicate that delivery of the goods was 10/1/18, therefore it is out with the warranty period." That was the extent of their response and consideration of my dissatisfaction. They have chosen not to respond to my subsequent emails last one was on 29/04/2019. The item in question is a table, one would reasonably expect a table to last longer than it did before it fell apart. Apparently, customers' don't have statutory rights. I am taking further advice about this matter. I was prompted to provide this review because on 18/04/2019 the Designer Rooms sent an email to me inviting me to review my last purchase. So, here goes, I would give ZERO stars but the lowest I can give is one star.

Ordered a mirror on the 27th of December and it's now 1 week shy of 4 months and still no mirror. Everytime I call I get 'it's due for delivery next week'. Ridiculous customer service.

Hi Popped into your new store at Silverburn today saw 2 small trays I loved Husband decided to buy them for me £15 was on both of them got to the cash desk rung them up was told sorry wrong price was on them told us they were £50 something each . I always thought you paid the price that was on the item really not happy with Manager and assistant .Would like a reply please

I had spent over 3k in store on various items for my new home. The picture I ordered in store didn't arrive with my delivery I then attended the store the previous week to collect it but it wasn't there. 3 times I attended the store for collection as agreed but still wrong picture or not there. The sofa I bought had a fault after just 10 months of use but due to myself working abroad I didn't call the HO till after Christmas. When I called I was informed that due to it being bought 56 weeks ago there was nothing they could do. I informed her that I have only lived in the home for 3 months. I was again that the policy is for 1 year only no exceptions.

Very unhappy with designer rooms I spent a lot of money on a corner unit and lusso furniture the sideboard was damaged after waiting 5 months on delivery was promised a new one so after waiting another 8 weeks they only replaced the side that was damaged. Customer service were rude and very unprofessional in my opinion the way they spoke to my son when he phoned them and also to me. I loved the designer rooms but unfortunately I won't purchase anything else from them. I was going to get all my bedroom furniture from you but the same furniture I saw in your shop I can get it much cheaper from a company in Glasgow.

I’m amazed to have received an email asking for a review after my experience. Ordered and paid for a dining room table and chairs on 30th July and only received it in time for Christmas after many many phone calls chasing it up. Goods are excellent, I love them but took a long time to be delivered. To be fair I was given £100 voucher to use in the shop as compensation.

Terrible returns policy spent over £2000 in store waited three months for some of my order to be delivered when an item arrived and looked massive in my room and when I tried to return one of the items I was told rather abruptly the will not take it back no reason why nothing just we don't do returns terrible shocking these type shops have no worties

You think by lay out of shop that your buying decent furniture but beware it is shipped in from Vietnam. I recently bought table and chairs when I got to sales desk was told they didn’t have chairs but would get them in fortnight that was fine time came and went no contact by them so called to be told they wouldn’t be in till end of month so when I called was astounded to find out the chairs I ordered weren’t on the shipment and would be end of March so I said not suitable I will come to shop with my card and have a refund please. Well all of a sudden they would let me borrow chairs which I had originally asked them to do and was told emphatically no they didn’t do that by this time I am raging especially as I had paid up front thinking I was dealing with an ethical company don’t be fooled. Anyway I refused and said I would be in next day for refund only to receive a call next morning oh there’s been a mistake and your chairs are on shipment so took them at their word and let them deliver BIG MISTAKE 2 weeks after delivery the chairs started bursting and stitching coming away after many phone calls it’s still not solved. My husband went to shop on Tuesday to be told Callum reply is that he finds it strange as they have never had a problem with these chairs insinuating that we had done something to them but he would replace them but chairs wouldn’t be in till end of March ermm strange that was dare I was told original chairs would be in so instead of insinuating that somehow we misused them I suggest you cobbled the chairs currently in myhome from other places in order to keep my money they are a DISGRACE if you bought anything from here and everything went ok you would not experience this obviously but heaven help you if you have a problem and the poor girls in shop are left to deal with it because the MANAGEMENT are far to busy to deal with us minions after they have took your money

Thieves plain and simple,steal money from pensioners still waiting on suite nearly 6 months,customer service pathetic,won't refund money, do not part with your hard earned cash to this bunch of cowboys. Local media outlets will be contacted along with trading standards....

I cannot fault the staff whatsoever in the Designer Rooms within McKinnon Mills in Coatbridge, they are extremely helpful and polite. My gripe is with the delivery of my goods. I ordered a bed, mattress, chest of drawers and 2 bed side tables in September 2018. I was originally told delivery would be within 6-8 weeks. This was fine and at the end of November I was informed that due to the Christmas rush I wouldn't be getting my goods until after Christmas. This was disappointing but I understood that Christmas is a very busy time of the year. The new year came and I was told I would receive my order in 2 weeks, 2 weeks came and still nothing. I was then told that it would be in stock by the beginning of February 2019. The beginning of February arrived and last week I got a phone call to say that it was now delayed until the end of February. It's in a container somewhere and no one can tell me where it is!!!!! I contacted the supplier direct (Kettle Interiors) who informed me that if my furniture is on a container it would be being shipped from Vietnam!!!!! I was also told my contract was with The Designer Rooms and not Kettle Interiors. I called customer services and they don't deal with these sort of situations, they only deal with "after sales". I was told to contact the area manager. I have left numerous messages for him to call me and he still hasn't had the deficiency to return my call or even get someone to call on his behalf if he has been unable to do so himself. I will probably need to cancel my order (I have paid upfront) and then start looking again for alternative furniture. Not very impressed at all.

Bought a wall clock for 53 pounds went into the range same clock 24.99 was going to buy coffee table and tv stand for £878 they can say goodbye to the sale

NEVER USE IRVINE STORE I purchased bedroom furniture and a new sofa in September 18 and delivery was arranged for the end of November 18. The bedroom furniture arrived which the workmen BROKE while building and no sofa arrived with the delivery. After various phone calls, being spoken to very rudely by staff on the phone and lies from the staff we are still waiting on our sofa in January 19, the sent out the same workmen to replace the broken drawers to then screwed 2 holes in the side of the NEW set so again waiting on a new side panel for my drawers. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company as we are getting nowhere, customer service is not in this companies vocabulary!

Never ever ever use this company,been waiting on a dining table and chairs from the Irvine store since early October,we were promised it by Christmas,they knew full well they couldn't fulfil their promises but took the 400 pounds deposit anyway,staff lied to us and even enquired as to whether we had anything else we could use in the meantime over christmas,they then offered us a more expensive table for no extra cost if we liked it as it would be here before Christmas,it's now the 20th December and still no sign of either table,utterly pathetic!

Been purchasing goods from this company for about 15years, I have spent thousands of pounds in there stores just paid £900 in August for dinning furniture and a rug which was on the sale from £400 it was 3 month old and the wools were starting to spread. When I contacted them they told me it is sold as seen as it was a sample to there store nothing on the receipt to say that or mentioned when I purchased it so they have lost a good customer and many of my friends and hopefully many people reading this will stay clear of these cowboys.....

Customer service is appalling!! I have spent a lot of money within designer rooms and again spent 100s today!!! The manageress at the coatbridge store had totally ruined that and i will not be spending another penny!!What a horrible woman she is!!!
