Ordered 4 chairs - on the first day wheels fell off, arm unstable chairs kept tipping up totally unsafe. been trying to arrange a return since the 26th May - customer service is no existent, live chat gets no response - it is a nightmare still waiting for collection of goods. The range has the worst customer service department I have ever had to deal with .

Nothing good to say about the Company, tried ringing the Head Office all you get is if you know the extension you require please enter it now,no explanation of what number relates to who, had to pretend I was a supplier to get the phone to ring and guess what held in endless que. Their Head Office Website says they are open till 5.30pm, rang at 5 15pm to find message saying they are now closed. They don't respond to emails. Don't even get me started on the Worcester Store!!, high turnover of staff which doesn't surprise me,items on shelf with no prices, very untidy store, stuff just dumped, deliveries everywhere. I think CEO Chris Dawson needs to invest more in his own stores and not keep expanding and taking on more and more. I heard he's now interested in acquiring Homebase!.

I bought an indoor hutch on The Range site and saw that they don’t accept American Express but Amazon Pay, so when i click on Amazon Pay and it direct me there and then i done the payment without a doubt. A week later the delivery was there without any notice from Email or phone, was left at the lawn without any notice, so i was shocked to see 2 big boxes left next to the door when i back home, not sure how many hours they have been left outside. So i immediately unbox both of the boxes in the lawn and put them recycle as it’s quite dirty and with bit of soil/dust at the bottom, and i didn’t even notice they were actually 2 same set of product until i finish building one of the hutch at night and i was like why there’s still remaining and thought if i’ve ordered the wrong product, then i saw there’s 2 email regarding the order of the same product within a minute, and i was charged on The Range AND Amazon Pay at the same time on card. Then i try to contact The Range ASAP on email and Whatspp but like few days later they finally reply and telling me that they’re not responsible for double charge issue and that if i have to return it i’ll have to pay £5 ( they mentioned this for couple times!) Saw the comment before saying they didn’t get a refund even after returning it so i might as well just sell it off myself, but gutted of how rubbish this company is, that customers have to bear the consequence caused by their “well-developed” payment system, i’ll make sure all my friends and family to avoid getting anything from The Range, better off just to pay a bit more in B&Q or other shop, at least you won’t be paying a double and they’ll be more than happy to offer you a return / refund without hesitation. This lesson cost me £90🙂

NO CUSTOMER CARE FOR FAULTY purchase made INSTORE 80 miles away! Nobody EVER ANSWERS phone in Carmarthen store, and online customer service tell you to contact store( HOW??) or give you a number NOT IN SERVICE. Online chat hang up during chat say they can't help as it wasn't bought online. APPALLING LACK OF CARE TO CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BOUGHT THEIR TOILET RUBBISH!!

I placed this order on 6th July for a chair which arrived broken and I reported on the same day. I have also tried online chat. I want the chair collected and full refund. I don't like the chair. I also don't like and I will never buy from The Range again. I am feeling paranoid. I have been waiting almost two weeks and there is no response. What should take 2-days with other retailer, it take more than 2-weeks with The Range. There is no contact number. I think The Range knows how bad their customers services is and that why they don't want the customers shouting over the phone.

Used chat service never experienced any think like it took 3/4 hour whonted a paint white tiger paint had a brown tiger instead tryed to explane give up in the end never use on line service with these people

Ordered garden furniture which has only been partially delivered and two weeks later we are yet to receive the rest of our order and nobody will answer our live chats or emails. Do not shop online with the range

Most disgusting service I have ever received. After 14 emails in total so far the complaint is still not resolved. I had a shopping trolley sent to me that was rusty and dirty looked like it was several years old, simply replace or give money back.

I don't usually write reviews but this had to be done, I'm so disgusted by the state of the mattress I ordered online, it arrived yesterday after waiting 10 days with black mold all down one side, I cannot believe someone actually loaded this onto a van for delivery and thought it was ok , its a health hazard, I'm really shocked to be honest, delivery drivers had to take it away so I was left without a mattress, you should be ashamed of yourself sending goods like this to customers , avoid people, I will never shop online here again !!!!

I ordered 2 rugs. They came promptly on 5/7/24. They were very thin and the one I opened had a strong odd smell. I have been trying to return them since that date. I have tried chat, email, and now WhatsApp. and even a complaint to the help desk I have been totally ignored and they no longer have a contact telephone number ! Disgusting Customer service!!! I need to return these rugs and instead of replacing will want a refund but it looks like that is never going to happen. Although I’m convinced it won’t bother them I will never shop at the arrange again!

I can't get any tracking information on my order that was supposed to be delivered on 10/7/24. I received an email today it's on its way and then nothing after that. The tracking link on my order doesn't work and I can't get a response from any of their contact details. I think this needs reporting to the BBC or something as it's shocking that I'm not the only one experiencing issues with deliveries.

The WORST Customer Service I have ever engaged with! I placed my order 22nd May (2 swinging chairs totalling £499.90) and still not received the item and 7 weeks later I still have not received the items. I have requested to cancel my order 5 days ago and nobody has processed this. I have sent 6 email messages and twice I waited on their Live Chat for over an hour and still no-one gets back to you! Disgusting and I'm now off to the ombudsman!

First of all I have eventually received my refund for the faulty LaVazza Coffee Machine...Thank you. The reason for the 1 star is that it took numerous chats and having to chase this refund myself. With some of your replies not making sense from the questions I was asking....very frustrating. The range online chats NEVER follow up after the 4 working days have expired that you state on every reply. Its really not fair to your customers and is really bad practice. So much so, that I won't ever purchase anything online again that I can't buy in your stores!! We've always been satisfied with instore purchases so you are really creating bad reviews by not dealing with these problems fairly.....I suggest you get rid of the 'Chats' and put a human in its place. No other Company that deals with on line purchases is as bad as this!

This is the second d time The Range has given me a very disappointing experience. I can't get them to cancel a duplication of my order and actually get them to process my Refunds. Their Chat option is useless. The phone number listed is no longer in operation and only option is via WhatsApp to which they don't reply back with a solution

Well, it looks like nice little scam The Range is pulling off. Ordered set of 2 bedside tables. At checkout just as I was paying I was asked if I wanted to pay for it with my Amazon account. I thought, ok I’ll do that and completed the payment. Anyway few days later I received delivery of not one, but two sets of bedside tables (4 altogether). Only then I checked my bank account and realised that i was charged twice, once from The Range and once from Amazon and that order was placed twice. Why I think it’s a scam, because I read few other reviews which reported same problem. Now they say I can return one set, but I have to pay for the delivery. Having now read horror reviews I will not be sending things back, as I am very likely not to receive refund. I will definitely not buy anything from them again and I would advise everyone to read reviews here before buying from them.

Don't buy anything from the range that needs delivery. Shocking service but the staff at the Bournemouth branch have an impossible task .been waiting 9 weeks for a delivery now cancelled (no more excuses)
