What a trashy company. Literally kept waiting on the phone for a minimum of 40 minutes before anyone answer. Maybe consider hiring more staff? Idiots. Been waiting weeks on my refund. Will not be shopping with them again. Absolutely useless

Two Seater Powered Recliner That Wasn't Ordered and paid for a 2 seater powered recliner sofa. It was delivered on the agreed date, however when assembling it discovered that there were no electrics for the "Powered Recliner". Reported the issue on the same day and got all the usual call centre BS, that it would take several days to do this that and the other. Suggested that it would be simpler to remove the electrical kit as shown in the assembly instructions from a stock sofa and send it in a shoe box sized package rather than re-packing the whole thing and sending a vehicle to take it away. However this level of common sense appeared to be above their capability and they insisted that they would take it away. So I agreed to them sending a lorry to collect it and suggested that they deliver the replacement at the same time, to save time cost and carbon footprint. Now I was really talking "Rocket Science". No the vehicle would collect it and then 14 days later another vehicle would deliver a replacement (with or without the electrics, who knows). At this point we were now over a month since the initial delivery and confidence in The Range to do anything right was seriously in the minus quantities. So having had enough I told them to collect this one and give me a full refund as per the Consumer Protection Act of 2015 as the goods were unfit for purpose. They finally removed the offending article, but it was the best part of 2 weeks before they managed to figure out how to refund the money to the card. All in all a massive waste of time and effort. When they finally agreed to the refund, they said to go to my "nearest store" to effect the refund. When I got there the initial response was that they thought the manager wasn't there. Then they found him and his initial response was that I had to go the the store where I placed the order 40 miles away. When I drew his attention to the email that said "Your Nearest Store", he changed tack and then said that they didn't have enough cash to make the payment. I then asked him to "Read" the documents that I had handed him, in particular the bit that showed "Card Payment" and finally he ran out of ideas he could use to block the refund and finally processed the refund. My advice, for you to take or leave as you see fit: DON'T TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE! If you go into any of their shops rest assured you won't bump into me.

Never will I buy online from the Range. Spent £699 on rattan garden set only 5 out of 6 boxes arrived, the missing box never showed up think Tuffnells lost it. Spent nearly 1 week, 6 hours on & off ringing customer services holding 40-60 mins a time. Sent 7 emails at last Judy robot replies ask for order number says she will help getting it back etc… absolutely cr@@. No calls no follow up. I can’t get a reply from customer services I rang Tuffnells who tell me comfy Living send out this rattan set. At least they pick up phone and speak to customers. So 3 weeks later the boxes have been collected by Tuffnells care of Comfy Living. Still waiting for my refund I guess I will have to instruct my credit card for chargeback. Save yourself the stress, DONT ORDER with them if it goes wrong you can’t return to local store, I couldn’t assemble or use my garden set. Absolute scammers, no customer services also done review on Trustpilot but noticed 5**** reviews coming in just a con. I think they are making some good reviews up to balance the high level of bad genuine reviews.

I have just visited the Scunthorpe store for the last time as nearly everytime I have been in the staff couldn't be less helpful and today was no execption. My partner asked for assisstence and the member of staff couldn't get away fast enough saying she was serving.....she wasn't as I followed her and she went into the warehouse and reappeared with a palette of stock. This time I asked her for help to which she replied "it's not my department"she surely must have has some idea though as she stacked the shelves! She asked her colleague to show us where the item we required was who was also offhand. On a previous occasion we were looking at some bathroom mirrors when a member of staff walked past and said in a loud voice"you need to put that back in the box when you have finished"It is somewhat ironic that they walk around with "HAPPY TO HELP" emblazoned on the tee shirts......

I am so disappointed with the service that I received from the range. Hours of my life spent on old waiting for someone to pick up the phone to help me find the location of my missing delivery. I am appalled by this company and will never recommend this poor establishment.

Customer service is appalling, no answer to emails, and don't bother trying to phone them, they don't bother to answer the phones!! Ordered lots of things from them, but 1 was due for delivery much later than the rest, no problem until the delivery date passes and no order received! Still waiting for someone to get back to me after saying they'd "chase it up" FUMMING!!!

Ordered a new bed and only received half of it, after 3 weeks of myself and my partner calling them up (taking up to an hour to get through each time) and emailing various different advisors nothing has been done and I’ve had no updates, this is also after paying more for express delivery since we’d arranged for our old bed to be picked up on a certain day. I’m 8 months pregnant and currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor and no one seems to care. From what I’ve been told the other part of my order is sat in the warehouse and they need to send an email to the delivery company to pick it up. Seems easy enough so I’m not entirely sure why I’m still waiting and have absolutely no contact in the meantime. By the looks of other reviews it seems like this issue will never be resolved. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I wish I’d looked at the reviews before ordering.

Having problems returning a large item which is faulty, now on day 14 and only have 28 days to get it to the supplier yet can't get the return address/info from the Range. Can't get to speak to anyone, auto replies from the customer care team asking to allow 48 hours for reply - done that. This has put me off ordering from the Range when the item has to be returned to one of their 'trusted partners' and you can't take it back to a store.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever come across! We ordered and paid £1500 for garden furniture in March this year, told latest delivery would be June 3rd, we are still waiting!! We have visited store 3 times as it is impossible to get through to Customer Services 0345 number, left waiting 1.5hrs twice and still no answer!! Trying to telephone, speak to customer service is impossible and forget emails!! We have never known such bad customer service, it is NON EXISTENT! The Range are very happy to take your money and hold it their bank for 6 months while the customer is still waiting, do NOT order garden furniture ever from the Range if it is not in stock, we will never use this company again and hope they are NAMED & SHAMED in the papers!!

I am so disappointed that such a well known store treats people so bad! Ordered furniture for delivery, given 2 time slots then phone call to say delivery cancelled due to item being damaged. Haven't heard a word since about replacement or apology .. Ring head office no joy just told speak to customer services, tried for a week with no answer at all, e mailed but no reply. So bad that 2 weeks later and still no word!

Shocking customer service, trying to return an item to one of their ‘trusted partners’ and your either left hanging on the phone for hours or cut off!! Why is it so hard to return an item, most other companies let you do it online, either generating a returns label or sending you a barcode so that you can print a label off at a collection point. So frustrating!!

Shame I had to give 1 start because they deserve 0. The online business is hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. Ordered goods in April, now it's the end of July still not received, however since the beginning of July if I go back on to order the item I can get it within a week. Funnily enough the price has increased by £50. So it seems as if they're processing all the orders at the higher price while keeping the other orders on hold. I would have though this would be against the law?? Made a complaint 2 weeks ago and nothing has been done at all. Sent an update 2 days ago and you can probably guess the rest... Avoid ordering from the Range at all costs. Taking full payment with little intention of fulfilling within a reasonable timescale should be banned.
