Our experience today was terrible it was hard to find staff to deal with any of our queries in our two hour visit. One saff member told us a wrong price of a heavy garden item to which we had emptied green slugg out because the product had been there a year, we even questioned the price she gave us as it seemed so cheap, when we went to the till it was a lot more expensive to which she argued the fact that she had said the correct price! Awful customer service from her. We will not shop there again. Not that the big boss will care after his profits from being open during the pandemic 😷 to staff shortages & his greed as we come out of lock down & people are able to shop else where.. we have nothing but prise for the super visor and lady on the till who where clearly overwhelmed & understaffed. Our £200 and something purchase means nothing to the greed of the owner, his staff mean even less to him / lack of staff is disgraceful!!

I would give 0 starts if possible. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Have been trying to resolve an issue for nearly 6 weeks and have spent over 7 hours on hold on the phone to them and waiting days for a reply to emails. The billionaire owner should be ashamed of himself and his company.

Ordered a garden furniture set 12 weeks ago and was given a delivery date. Called today to check the time of delivery and was told they have no idea when it will arrive. Could be at least another 4 weeks!! I was not given any updates, no warning there would be no delivery. Disgusting service.

I would give no stars if the option was available. Customer service is non existent. All I want to do is return a product. No answer on the phone after waiting 1 hour. No reply from online contact form after 9 days. I will never use the Range again.

Order came damaged. i have tried many times to contact customer care over the phone, but after every time after waiting on a line for more than 1h i gave up. I have contact customer care on line and i have not received any response. Awful customer service. I will not be ordering from them again!!!!!

Item arrived used and damaged. Tried contacting twice for a refund or replacement and zero response. They won’t be around for long so go elsewhere.

Customer service takes minimum 1 week to respond to each message. The website says refunds take 3-5 working days, but if you return in store it takes 5 working days for them to acknowledge the return AND then another 5 working days for the refund to go back into your account. Horrendous.

Would give no stars if I could, worst customer services every. Refuse to help with a damaged table I have had delivered. Avoid shopping with the Range at all costs

Customer service is non existent I have been trying to cancel an order for garden furniture for 2 weeks now all because they changed the date from may to aug I have heard nothing from e mails sent firm filled in and dont even try to call the help number they done answer it no luck calling head office either. I had to asked the carrier they have appointed for delivery not to deliver the furniture as I can imagine this would be another nightmare Aldo have my credit card company looking into the matter all in all terrible service but reading all the different sites I am not alone

Item arrived damaged, no response from online email (sent twice) no response on phone no provided. I’ve posted registered complaint letter to CEO Christopher Dawson today, will update if he responds.

Item received was damaged. 2 forms submitted over a space of 8 days and no reply. Took the item to the store in the end and was told I could have a refund but I’d have to order another one online and pay the postage again. When I said I wasn’t happy about this as it wasn’t my fault, I was told that that it wasn’t the stores fault and I would need to speak the main office or submit a form online (already done this and didn’t get a reply). Awful service and wouldn’t shop here again!!

GOODS NOT RECEIVED AND NO REFUND @therange why are you are still ignoring me? You owe my 86 year old mum for goods not received. I’ve sent numerous emails, posted on your Facebook page (You’ve hidden some of my posts) I’ve contacted Trustpilot with the order number, sent a registered letter to your head office. Resolver are now involved and 6 weeks later still no refund. Today I will present her case to Trading standards and get the bank to reimburse her. They will reimburse her and I will continue to tell her story in order to raise awareness about your total disregard for your customers and in particular those who are most vulnerable.

I have bought 7 pairs of lamps online. When they arrived I found that they had literally been thrown into the box and so many of the shades have been dented and damaged and one lamp totally smashed. I’ve tried to contact the Range via online system over week ago. It says don’t send multiple messages otherwise it slows the process so I haven’t. I would not order anything ever again from them, I could not believe the jumbled mess when my lamps arrived and then absolutely no response to my online message. Very upset as I’ve now I’ve ended up with broken lamps that I don’t know what to do with as are customer services ever going to contact me........

Myself and my wife who is blind went shopping at the range today in Derry/Londonderry for summer seating, we encountered a helpful lady by the name of Wendy she made our shopping trip so much easier, she was so so helpful. Every store should have a Wendy

I had the misfortune to visit the brand new Range store in Weymouth on Sunday. The store is huge and lovely but that's where the good part ends, the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I visited with my daughter and her baby plus her toddler. We were greeted by a man who said welcome, we needed a trolley but had no pound coin, we asked him to exchange change for a coin but he said he wasn't allowed so we had to ask other customers. We then shopped and paid, my daughter spent £346 so we had a lot of shopping, there is no car park attached so we went to take the trolley to the car, it stopped at the door. I asked if there was a pick up bay as we had a pram, a toddler and all of the shopping, no we were not allowed to use the pick up area as we hadn't bought furniture. a supervisor was called to help us, she suggested we took the shopping in batches back to car using the pram as a trolley!!! she said she would look after the shopping whilst we did this and it was safe with her! on my second trip back she had left our paid for shopping by a window and other assistants had added to it thinking it was for returns! I moved added items, on my fourth trip back more returns in there. I saw a manager and spoke to him expressing my disappointment in the lack of help, his response was he was sorry but as I didn't know the persons name he couldn't do much other than mention it in team brief the next day! Still no offer of help back to the car. Never again, totally disgusting. Be warned if you need a lot of shopping don't go there!

If I could give them no stars, I would. Phone 3x, takes over an hour to get through to someone who fobs you off. Emailed several times, not taken seriously and then ignored. Contacted over Facebook message, ignored, contacted again. Contacted over Instagram, ignored. Filled out a customer care form 2x on their website, ignored. Been to there stores, not taken seriously. Missing items, over a month late, parts missing had to collect 26 miles away, refused any refund of my delivery which was £20 even though it is their fault for not sending it all. No apology, no answers.

The customer baskets and trolleys were all absolutely disgustingly dirty. Staff virtually laughed at me when I asked if there were any clean ones and no attempt was made by anyone to do anything even though 2 members looked at them and agreed they were disgusting. I will never go to The Range at Gosport again due to the uncleanliness and the total lack of interest shown by staff at the checkouts
