“Ordered a brush for my wife in November and it was never sent. Reached out a week before Christmas and they said due to Christmas, they were behind BUT it would be shipped soon. It is now February, and still not brush. I emailed again to threaten to report as fraud to my bank, but then I got a response it was sent and received? Pulled the tracking, and once again it shows never sent. Emailed screenshots including the tracking they provided, and no response. Considering the plethora of bad reviews on not receiving items, I WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! This is absolutely ridiculous, we have Covid going on and companies like this still exist!!!”

“I recently went to the Dunedin South store as I was on a road trip and needed extra socks. I went to the woman's sock area and was disappointed to see they only had a range of thin summer socks and those short socks which are basically just shoe liners. On my way to have a look in the garden section (my compulsion) I passed the men's sock area. I turned a bright shade of green as I checked out the winter/work/tramping socks as well as thinner, summer socks they had to choose from. I just wanted to remind you that in our wonderful 4 seasons in one day climate women as well as men like to get out and do stuff. We don't just get to sit inside keeping warm and looking decorative. I trust you will have a look at this situation and cut the blatant sexism.”

“Wow, shopping at The Warehouse, in Tokoroa, today was a pleasurable experience. The staff were friendly and efficient. The store was well laid out and very tidy. The range of stock available was impressive. It was obvious that the people who work there take an enormous amount of pride in their workplace. If I lived closer I would be a regular customer of this store.”

“I purchased an iconic hairbrush from the The Warehouse family in September and it was faulty. I have written several emails to the company since and have still not received a reply. There is no contact number on the website and the whole website 'customer care' promise is a scam. DO NOT use this company!”

“The Pukehoke branch for customer service is horrible!!!! I will never return to any of your stores! I dont care if your cheaper by any amount. They're rude have an attitude problem essentially told me to f off and re sell my item on trade me or Facebook.... I returned my item th next day in the same condition as i purchased it with a receipt. I trued calling but no one was answering. Head office said I could return it. I left a formal complaint with the store manager but they have no back bone to return my calls. Avoid at all costs.”

“The lady name Louise at the Warehouse Westgate has the most horrible customer service I had.. i had no plan to make a review on her until this happened the second time encountering her...i dont know why she is called the Team leader in customer service???? no good customer service at all and don't even know how to say the simple words "sorry for the inconvenience" very arrogant, don't work at customer facing business if you don't like dealing with customers. You don't deserve to be working there.”

“A few days ago at the warehouse in pukekohe An amazing young lady named jasmine I think her name was, she had found my wallet in the toy isle and it had alot of money plus a few items I valued that was in it, she took it upon herself to find the owner she told me she searched the store to find the owner before she was going to hand it in. She found me in tears and was so lovely to me she even helped me shop for my children. What lovely manners she had to. I tried to offer her a $20 bill to say thank you but she refused. Thank you jasmine you saved me and made my day!”

“I have been a warehouse customer for 10years or more. I have always found the staff in our local store helpful and considerate. I have had items ordered which have arrived in the time frame, and never had any problem returning an item for a refund or exchange. I feel they have a good range of products and reasonable prices.”

“Chatted on The Warehouse Web-Site before ordering dishwasher. Explained it was being purchased for a job to which I needed to pay penalty rates if not completed on time. I was assured I could pick it up from the local branch by 4pm the next day. When I enquire why it hasn't arrived I am told take 5-7 working days. The web-site operator was not helpful & would not cancel order I am told the original web-site operator must have been confused. Not a trustworthy site be very careful”

“Hi. Tbh 1 star is too many. Email to say item was with 11st class Royal mail...not arrived so I asked for a reference...no reference and therefore no proof of postage!!!. Therefore I cannot check with royal mail...whats next. Supply the items, or refund...either works!!! Lynne”
