“There was a good selection but as always, most of it, the stiles I like, we’re financially out of reach. As good Sami has always been for me. The bottle was a Christmas present for a friend out of state. The way he described it, it was what I imagined it would be. We were very pleased.”

“I first fell in love with sake years ago thanks to the many wonderful izakayas of NYC. I now live in LA and while I've grown quite spoiled with the produce available in SoCal, I've always had a tough time finding much variety in sake bottles even when shopping at well-stocked Japanese grocery stores. Tippsy has filled this void better than I could have hoped for. The selection is unmatched and the pricing is great.”

“Haven't tried the sake yet. Where to begin? I wasn't informed before making my purchase that I would need to be home for signing/accepting the package. I also wasn't informed of the tracking of the shipment so I didn't know when to intercept it. The shipping courier tried FOUR times to deliver. TWO of which I wasn't even contacted since they were not provided with my phone number. Nor was I asked by Tippsy to provide a door code (major shipping couriers have access and I don't need to provide one) *Doorbell rings in the middle of me calling the shipping courier to inquire about the eta of today's shipping, my third call mind you, as I simultaneously typing out this sad review. Jump to receiving the sake NOT cold so I'm strongly considering returning it as I do not want to get sick... not knowing how long/many days it's been going from vehicle to a temperature-controlled room. Needless to say, I'm very dissapointed and will not be signing on for a subscription. Some of this could so easily be avoided, by providing an ample amount of clear communication and instruction for the customer and the courier.”

“Tippsy's customer service is outstanding! I emailed asking if I could receive a different box (other than the welcome box) for my order and received a response within minutes. My requested box was shipped and delivered quickly. Tippsy is a great way to try sakes I don't usually see in my local stores.”

“It is next to impossible to find sake anywhere near where I live now. Just the fact that Tippsy exists is enough of a reason for five stars. It certainly doesn't hurt that they carry many of the same bottles I used to get at the Asian markets in Monterey!”
