“Hard to find matching paint for older, classic, cars...specifically my 1990 Mazda RX7 convertible (Harbor Blue metallic...5D). The passenger side mirror was struck in a parking lot and the cowl was broken, so I replaced it, but could only find one that was red! Your paint worked perfectly and was a PERFECT match (see photos). It was actually a better match than a fender I had repainted at a local chain collision shop last year. I taped the mirror and mounting plate so they wouldn't get painted, then light sanded with 1500 grit wet paper, tack cloth wiped it, then wiped with a towel dampened with MEK. No primer, just put 5 coats of your paint on it (about an hour drying between each one) followed by 4 coats of clear coat (I already had some clear coat...so it wasn't your product...sorry!). Very pleased! Thanks! Note the photos...after painting on my bench, and after reinstalling on the car. The camera makes it look lighter than it really is. To my eye (which is all that's important!) it's perfect.”
