I bought a set of pans from shopping channel and supposed to have 10 year guarantee but following short use of the frying pans the handles became loose and unable to tighten the screws to secure the handle. I contacted Tower who sent replacement handles which didn't fit the pan correctly, also the frying pans have discoloured quickly resulting in them being impossible to clean. Have now bought a new set of pans which are much better with regards to cleaning and far more substantial.

""Customer service appalling. I rang two weeks ago to claim on my warranty for my blender. Never got a call back regarding the replacement part. I have tried to get through three more times and each time have had to leave a name and number as no one to answer the call. Someone did call back when I was out but only asked me to call in again!! Will think twice about buying Tower again.

I purchased a Tower kettle because it clearly showed on the box it came with a three year guarantee. Once home l read the leaflet inside the box which said you had to register the product online to obtain the 3 year guarantee. Went online to register, why do you need to know if l'm male or female, why you you need my date of birth, phone number and email address. I am also required to tick a box to say l agree with your terms and conditions but they have nothing to do with registering a product for the 3 year guarantee. I can only assume you need all this personal information inordinate to use for marketing opportunities or to sell on to others. Showing a 3 year guarantee on the box is misleading and a con to obtain personal information.

Hi I'm sorry that you think this is what we do with the information, but I can assure you it isn't. We use the information to correlate data for ourselves, no body else. The only thing you would receive from us is our own newsletter which send offers to our wonderful customers. Point 4.3 in the T&Cs applies to the extended warranty, please see below: 4.3 The extended warranty is only valid with a proof of purchase. Proof of purchase and the registration certificate (supplied via email upon registration) must be kept for the entirety of the guarantee in order that it remain valid. If you don't wish to do this online, by all means you can call us on 0333 220 6066 to do this. Best Regards Tower Customer Support

Illuminate glass kettle lid mechanism has broken after 16 months. I have the receipt. Just discovered the 3 year warrant is hidden in the small print. For a proud British product why cant you stand by your quality? If I wanted a chinese throw-away import I would have bought one and accepted the consequences. Come on Tower !! Actually you need to know about the design fault in the lid mechanism which prevents the kettle from cutting out automatically on boiling. Details if you contact me

Bought a set of pans with 10 year warranty. Handles are now falling off and rusting after 2 years and have been told that as I did not register online within 28 days of purchase, nothing will be done even though I have my purchase receipt. Will never buy from them again.

Non existent customer service. Bought a 11 litre pressure cooker and using it for the first time found it would not come up to pressure. I found the problem it was a faulty gasket and tried phoning tower customer service which seems permanently unavailable. Next step I sent customer service a message using their messeging service and got no reply, and so tried again using the messeging service and yet again no reply. I have ordered a new gasket and hopefully it will arrive before Christmas. I know it's only a £5 part but a brand new pressure cooker should have not faults and a reply from customer service would have been nice.

Hi Colin! I'm really sorry you haven't received a response from us and I'm sorry that this has happened to your pressure cooker. With regards to your messages, I'm afraid we are experiencing a few technical difficulties with our email systems which we are getting looked in to with our IT department. I also apologise for you not getting through to us on the phone, did you leave a voicemail at all for us to call you back? We aim to answer our calls within 3-5 standard phone rings, so I will ensure this is fed back and looked in to. Please don't let this experience put you off, I can assure you that if you were to contact us again, your experience would be much more satisfactory.

Extremely poor customer care, and that's an understatement. I've been trying to sort out a complaint ive had with this company for over a year. I eventually wrote to the CEO, and have been chasing this up for about 5 months now. I tweeted them, receive an email from a customer care member to be told..... I'm sorry I've responded to your complaint and I would be satisfied with that response. Hope you are too. And within the response, I was told they are a high customer satisfaction focussed company and that I should appreciate the CEO is a very busy man. Really. So disappointed. In their customer. Are, the warranty they provide and the overall lack of respect in dealing with complaints.

I bought this to tidy me over while I got a new cooker, big mistake.Used on a standard worktop you need to be at least 7 feet 6 inches to use the rings without having your arms in the air and food spitting in your face.If you like toast, tough, the grill is so far away from the shelf it just cooks the bread all the way through before even beginning to brown it. There is no heat control on the hob rings at all, they're either on or off.The smaller one is useful for warming your hand ,I didn't manage to heat anything on it using a normal pan.You might have more success with a pan from the pound shop but anything heavier takes away the heat before it reaches the contents. You can use the rack on top of the pan to catch spillages in the oven but it's such a tight fit that with the heat expansion you can't get the shelf out til it cools, which kind of defeats the object! It's not all bad, pizzas and pies are a doddle using the shelf alone and it looks quite pretty. When I get my new cooker I'm taking this it to the tip,I wouldn't want to saddle anyone else with it.All in all a Jack of all trades that doesn't doesn't do anything as well as a proper cooker,I should have lived on takeaways while waiting for my cooker,it would have been cheaper and less trouble.

The infinistone pan set received a few days ago has a serious fault with the lids. Steam and sauce is being trapped between the lids and handles. When washing the lids it is necessary to unscrew the handle from the lid! What a pain. They are being returned.

The silicon sealing ring is too small to ensure that the cooker can support the designed pressure. Adding tape to both add additional vertical and horizontal compression to the seal allows the pressure cooker to get the correct pressure (most of the time). Looking at online reviews this is clearly not a one off occurrence. As an engineer my assessment is that the life tolerance calculations have not been performed correctly. Note replacement of the seal with a new Tower part did not solve the problem. The cooker does not have any scratches, dents or wear that would explain the sudden loss of pressure before reaching working pressure. Summary this is poorly designed and potentially dangerous device due to sudden release of steam that could result in significant burns.

Bought a set of frying & sauce pans in baby blue from ideal world, they were supposed to be ceramic non-stick, THAT'S A JOKE! i tried frying an egg in the frying pan with oil & the egg stuck to the pan better than any super glue i have purchased. In fairness, contacted tower with my complaint, they replaced the pan telling me that they had been supplied with a bad batch of this item from there suppliers. On trying the replacement low & behold the same thing happened again. As a word of warning do not waste your money on these pans. I went to asda & purchased 30cm non-stick pan & guess what my egg frying abilities improved 200%, & this pan only cost me £8.00, as opposed to the £70.00 i paid for the set from TOWER.
