“The bed I tried to sleep in was really uncomfortable. I raised this with Travelodge, who replied that all beds had been tested and installed in 2015. They did not directly answer whether the mattress had been changed in the 3 years between then and my stay in 2018. They did, however, say that my discomfort must have been 'personal preference'. A breakfast worth £8.50 was offered for 'next time you stay'. There is unlikely to be a next time, since I actually like to get some rest at the place I'm paying for. I'd rather pay a little more extra elsewhere and have some sleep.”

“Rookie mistake but I booked the wrong hotel by accident, this was on the saver rate and I asked if I could change to the correct one - which was more expensive than my first booking but I was happy to pay the difference. Despite there being availability at both hotels they have shown a complete lack of understanding in my mistake. I even booked the correct hotel so they knew I was not trying to back out of the initial booking but still no acknowledgement - I think this sheer greed is unfair to a customer who made a genuine mistake and wasn’t trying to back out of a booking - just change it to the correct hotel.”

“They didnt service was terrible. Room bed to big for room. No air con. Kettle bust. Sheets not changed. Wardrobe no door. 1 chair in double room. No fire extinguisher or fire blanket. Pillows rock hard. Shower flooded the bathroom. And worst of all the breakfast. The eggs where powdered. YES POWDERED.”
