I order a cycle jacket as a Christmas gift. I got a response saying order had been received but no details about when it would be delivered. Christmas came and went with no delivery. I phoned after New Year and was told an email has been sent saying it would be delivered to the shop by 10th Jan 2016. I never received said email. I phoned again to be told that the jacket had been discontinued. An email was sent previously informing me of this which, I never received. I asked for a full refund over the phone and would you believe it I finally get an email saying refund has been transferred to my account. Appalling service. Never again.

Hi there, I'm really sorry that you had an issue with your order. An email was indeed sent informing you that we were unfortunately out of stock of the product and it would be available in January. I'm sorry that you didn't receive the email. When the due date passed we checked up with our supplier and was then informed that unfortunately they decided to discontinue that particular product. We try our best to keep our stock level up to date however sometimes a product or two will fall through the cracks. We aim to provide a high level of service and we are constantly trying to improve upon that. I am very sorry about what has happened on this occasion. Kind regards, Jamie - Triton Cycles.

Hi there, I'm sorry you're disappointed with the service you've received on this occasion. Unfortunately you placed your order at 7pm on the 23rd which was after our last posting date before Christmas of the 22nd December. Since then we've been closed but have been busy processing orders ready for dispatch Monday 4th Jan when the couriers are back working to full capacity. You can find the info here: http://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/christmas-new-year-business-hours-i48 I'm sorry that you didn't notice the Christmas/NY opening times and made the assumption you'd receive this sooner. Usually we do operate with 24 hour delivery times but at Christmas with the bank holidays and many of our suppliers being closed there will inevitably be some delays. You'll receive the light on Tuesday. If you require any further info in the meantime please contact us directly. Kind Regards, Jamie - Triton Cycles

Terrible customer relations! If an item is out of stock tell me, and tell me when you expect it to arrive. I had to phone on three occasions over nearly three weeks, and on each occasion was told we expect it tomorrow. I did not mine waiting but how about some honesty!

Hi there, I'm sorry you were disappointed with the delay on the item you ordered. Unfortunately the Powertap P1 pedals you ordered are in extremely short supply and are currently being imported from the USA in very small quantities every 3-4 weeks, most of which are pre-sold before they arrive in the country. We did initially email you to explain that the pedals hadn't arrived as expected and there would be a delay in processing your order. Following that, on the occasions we spoke to you we gave you the expected delivery date as per what was being given to us by the sole UK importer. I'm afraid sometimes these things do slip slightly and this was the case with the pedals, probably due to shipping delays in the run up to Christmas. At no point were we dishonest about the delivery date of these pedals, we only have the date supplied by the importer to rely on for estimated arrival times. You received the pedals as advised this week. They were delivered within 2 weeks of you placing the order Taking into account the high demand and short supply of these in the UK at the moment we've processed orders for these particular pedals as quickly as possible. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused by the slight delay in processing your order. If you have any further questions or comments please feel free to get in touch. Kind regards, Triton Cycles.

Bike arrived in a box which had been opened. Inadequate packing.Worst of all was the damage to the frame,an array of paint chips.Complained and they offered me a £20 discount off my next purchase.Seriously, would anybody want to deal with this company again after such appalling service? G.Ridley.

Dear Mr Ridley, I'm sorry that the bike arrived with you damaged. The fact the box was open on delivery suggests that the bike has been damaged in transit with the courier. We offered to collect and replace bike, free of charge, at a convenient time/place but this was refused by you. We offered you a credit against future orders to compensate for inconvenience but this was also refused. Unfortunately sometimes these things happen and we'll always do our best to resolve things quickly and with as little inconvenience as possible. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused, please get in touch with us directly if you have any more questions about the order. Kind regards, Jamie - Triton Cycles

spent over £1200 on a new frame...managed to damage couple of bolts while putting it together...no problem i thought. Ordered bolt kit from Triton Cycles. Paid £25...received one bolt...still waiting for another one. On top of that , after contacting GT bicycles directly was told they should be no more than £5/each....one would think that after spending over £1200 you would get a bolt for free!!! lovely customer service...well done guys!!!

Wrong size and colour of wheel sent. Then told no stock for a month. So much for allowing time for delivery for birthday present. Very poor and now have to decide to wait or go to someone with stock but more expensive.

Hi Barry, I'm sorry that we sent you the wrong wheel. This was a genuine picking error caused by a mix up with the product codes. We have organised for the wheel to come back to us at our expense. I don't see that we've received a response yet as to whether you'd like to go for a different colour of the same item, if you'd like us to pre-order you the wheel from the next delivery in Sept or if you'd prefer a refund. Please get back to us so we can update your order accordingly and resolve this as quickly as possible. Apologies again that we haven't been able to complete your order as quickly as we'd like and for any inconvenience this may have caused. Kind Regards, Triton Cycles
