“Not happy with this I am afraid. It was very expensive for what it is anyway but is so badly constructed that the joint in one corner has come apart and the glass is loose and coming away from the brass edging. Have had to glue this with epoxy in my own workshop. As I am capable of repairing it I haven't returned it but won't be tempted to come back”

“Fantastic product at a reasonable price. Communication with the seller was excellent. As it was glass, I was concerned that because it was coming from Edinburgh it would be broken but packaging was very protective and clearly whoever had sent it was very conscious of this. Thank you.”

“Supplied the item promptly and efficiently. Regularly kept me updated with progress of my order. They do subscribe you to a stream of unnecessary marketing emails by default but you can unsubscribe.”

“I ordered a present plenty of time before my friend's birthday- 4 weeks later and it still hadn't made it to her. When I enquired about where it was, I was informed that one of the items was out of stock and the boutique wanted to wait until both were in stock before dispatching. This would have been fine, had someone told me but I received no notification or explanation until I contacted them, which isn't great customer service. In all fairness my refund was processed quickly and emails were apologetic, but I would hesitate to use again if I needed items by a particular date.”

“I ordered a Joann Ham signed Rabbit screen print, "Super Hero," and worried about package loss or damage in international shipping. Everything went perfectly! The shipping was immediate and it arrived earlier than promised. It was very carefully packaged and even the package arrived in perfect condition! I could not be happier with Trouva's service and my wonderful purchase! Thank you!”

“Nice shops good quality places. Needs more information though I wasn't sure if the items were posted or not, no tracking etc I had to email Trouva to see if they were posted. Items came though and took about a week from ordering.”

“A very nice clothes shop and friendly staff stocking a variety of top, trousers and knitwear which I wouldn't find amongst my usual hunting grounds of the big stores/brands in London. This is the beauty of shopping at independent retailers - it is also more relaxing.”
