“I was recently scammed by a company called Modomobi. I subsequently posted a negative review on Trustpilot. Modomobi objected and my review was taken down for review. I then found that this company routinely objects to every review and Trustpilot duly takes them down! These negative reviews are still not reinstated months later. I then pointed v this out to Trustpilot in a negative review which they have also removed! Don't trust Trustpilot!”

“Trustpilot.com is in our view an international scam. You can pay them to hide negative reviews from appearing on your website. Isn't this extortion? Also even your competitors can send fake documents to them, to maintain defamatory fake reviews. They say legal cases against them must be in Delaware, claiming that they're a Delaware company. We asked them to prove this, but they are IGNORING us. We're taking them to court in Denmark, which is the only place they appear to legally exist. “I was asked by Trustpilot to provide evidence of a review, which I duly did. The company which I had reviewed then managed to challenge the review again, and Trustpilot then removed my review until I provided the exact same information again. Trustpilot removes many legitimate reviews.”

“Attempted REPEATEDLY to leave a review and verify by code prior to posting. Always fails. It's also very obvious that they remove bad reviews and leave only good ones in many cases. A dishonest company that, ironically, can't be Trusted.”

“Clearly, not trustworthy. I am a more elderly woman. I have had serious cause to post warning reviews on HML Group who are the managing agent for the block where I own a flat in W1. My review was removed before being posted. I am quite shocked. Trustpilot needs to be deleted - is that what one should say? Help.”

“I review Warrior Trading with a mixed review, some mildly negative, mostly positive. In part I did this because I am a member on Warrior Trading and feared retaliation. So when I wouldn't give Warrior Trading the email I subscribed from when they requested it from Trustpilot, Trustpilot removed my review.”

“I reported a bad experience I had with a store and when that store reported my review to TrustPilot, it was taken out asking me to prove it. Why do I need to prove? The company should prove otherwise. It seems that TrustPilot must be earning money from companies and they don't really care about the reviewers which is actually what gives money to the company. I have removed my account from them as they are no longer credible to me.”

““After complaining about this online retailer and using some "inadequate" words, I have changed it as requested by Trustpilot. My post has been blurred by them anyway, because the seller report it as untrue. This was a seller which I have dealt with for almost 2 years and all of the sudden the customer care just plummeted. Anyway...I have replied to Trustpilot that I have the proof that the retailer threatened me with cancelling my order even from other seller with which they were in contact with and that I did not receive my refund(that didn't happen till now, since December 2019). Trustpilot asked for the proof. I've sent it straight away, my correspondence with this business' rep. That was in March. Never heard from Trustpilot again and my comment has been completely removed by them. If that is not shocking, I don't know what is. Avoid at all costs trusting Trustpilot!! Please!!””

“TrustPilot is controlled by paying companies that will have any bad reviews removed regard less of the honest content. Some of these companies are scammers and TrustPilot is basically promoting this by the removal of honest bad reviews .”

“This is a complete fraud. I have proof of companies using software to report any negative reviews and get them banned. Something TrustPilot is welcoming. If you use TrustPilot to judge a company/service you are going to be disappointed. Find attached, a reported review. It was reported within 8 seconds !!! 8 seconds!!! TrustPilot is not something to Trust.”

“Trust pilot is paid by companies to advertise them.I have painstakingly adhered to all there requests to scan documents to prove my posts against Skinnyfoodco and they keep removing them.trust pilot has removed bad reviews of Skinnyfoodco and leave the glowing recommendations.A SCAM.dont waste your time writing a review.”

“when I was trying to give the review to one of the financing company it does not allows me to give less than 5 stars. and when I checked the reviews online for that company, nobody has given less than 5 stars. So I don't believe the Trustpilot. It is totally fake review company that is used by some of the bad companies to enhance their customer base and to cheat people.”

“Can someone please tell me who regulates trustpilot please. ive been scammed by a company with great reviews on rustpilot which influenced my purchase. i now find i cant leave a bad honest review about my experience and for a week have monitored their reviews of instasmile only to witness the immediete removal of poor reviews then a mass of obvious fake glowing reviews IN MY VIEW TRUSTPILOT ARE AIDING AND ABETING CROOK SITES THIS HAS COST ME JUST UNDER £600 AND TJHEY WONT ALLOW US TO WARN OTHERS PLEASE WHO REGULATES THIS TRUSTPILOT ?”

“i put a review a bout child model on trust pilot after few days i was receiving emails and calls from trust pilot that the client requested to delete your review. i said why the said because you have to prove this and that and i had to write one page email to justify finally i give up writing a lot and they sent me notice that if i don’t reply in 2 days my debt will be deleted about that client and they did delete. so this means no one should trust trust-pilot i have trying to spread the truth via here”
